TC Swing: what do users think?

Fawad: Fun place!

Alexander Souhleris: $8 for several hours of dance. They also offer weekly 2 hour dance lessons Monday evenings for roughly $5 a week if you want to truly learn. Most people kind and will dance with you if you simply have the courage to ask.

Quest MN: ! I didn’t know how to swing dance at all, but everyone there is friendly and people were happy to teach me the basics and some moves. It’s more of a younger crowd for the most part, but there were some older people as well.

Sebastian Villa: Great vibes. Better ventilation than The Wabash street caves but that's due to the venue difference. Both are great!Swing nights have some line dancing every so often. And ofc the mandatory birthday dance and shim-sham.

Kris Brown: Fun place to dance and enjoy live music!

Jonathan Figueroa: Had fun 😊

Erasmus Espinosa: Recommend swing dancing on Thursdays super fun times

Ken Phillips: Great dancing!!

David Braney: Great place to Lindy hop with fun instructors. Don't miss 1st Saturday swing nights.

Val S: A great spot if you're looking for good clean fun! You will not regret this experience and all the people there are really kind! Tip, come early...about 7 pm if you want to learn both styles of swing.

Sean Bernier: The instructors were very nice and made sure to break it down step by step as they were teaching.

Four Seasons Dance Studio: what do users think?

Valerie Cooper: We just finished taking the 4 session wedding dance class and had an amazing time. Rebecca is so sweet and knowledgeable! We went in knowing nothing about formal dancing. Even though it's a group class, Rebecca is sure to spend some one on one time with each couple to make sure they know how to make the dance work for their song. She even uses your phone to video you and your partner dancing while also coaching you through it so you can go back and watch it anytime. We'll definitely be practicing before our big day, but I already feel like we know enough to surprise/impress our guest during our 1st dance at our wedding. If you're nervous about dancing in front of everyone at your wedding, take this class!! We might be back just for a fun date night activity!

Autumn Wonderlich: Dance classes from Rebecca at Four Seasons was the highlight of our wedding planning process! It was so fun to create a unique and special dance, and it helped us feel prepare for our big day. I highly recommend classes here!

Rob Cegla: . We were able to tell Rebecca our song at the start, and over the course of the month she choreographed our entire dance with us - teaching us everything from the basic step to a number of more complicated moves, at a very well-structured pace, adding little bits at a time until we had the whole song planned beat for beat.Rebecca is a great teacher - I can't tell you how many times we were shown a move and our first reaction was "How the heck are we gonna learn that??" - but by the end of the lesson, we had it down.During the group lessons, you also spend some time practicing your moves to the other couples' songs

Silka Schreiber: I visited Four Seasons Dance Studio for a one hour private class two days before my wedding. My husband and I have no experience dancing and wanted to avoid just doing the “prom sway” for our first dance. Rebecca was a fantastic teacher who worked with us for an hour and I’m still surprised how well our first dance went with only one lesson!

Madison Eckel: dance down for our wedding. We started at an Arthur Murray studio and after it taking 4 classes to even get an idea of what our full dance would look like, my husband had been taking classes here with his mom for their dance. Needless to say we switched over and Bruce opened up his schedule for us on a Saturday and Sunday two weeks before our wedding, and we had an awesome dance after just two lessons. He was so easy to work with and so helpful. Our dance was wonderful and I will never go to another commercial studio like we started at! Thank you thank you thank you Bruce!!

Thad “LeTree” Keomany: Very nice and spacey. If curious about sound proofing between rooms, its perfectly constructed. Bathrooms are nice, a lot of waiting areas to sit. This review is strictly for venue rental, does not describe the actual Dance Services.

Bill: Met my girlfriend here!

Stacy King: Took a kizomba class. They were so friendly and welcoming. They were patient, and the structure of the class is great. Highly recommend!!!

Caroline Jasper: After doing a bit of research to see what dance lessons were offered in the Minneapolis area my husband and I heard back quickly from Rebecca at Four Seasons. We purchased 4 dance lessons - used two for ourselves, one for myself and my dad, and one for my husband and his mom! Between the 4 of us we have little to no dance experience and minimal to moderate musical ability. Rebecca was an absolute joy to work with and made the process so fun!! She is a natural teacher and navigates beginners very well! She did a great job choreographing a realistic dance for all of us and we had so many compliments after the wedding! We would highly recommend Rebecca and the Four Seasons Dance Studio!

The Flying Pig Dance Studio: what do users think?

Margaret Miller: Absolutely the best dance class I have ever taken. I honestly don't know how they pull off having so many instructors per student but it is magical. You get a lot of individualized tips and everyone is so encouraging. And I always feel challenged at just the right level, so I'm always improving. Basically I love this place and think everyone should try it.

Michael Kane: Great tango instruction from a diverse team of generous, qualified, and patient instructors. I love this place. I started here, and eight years on I still love learning here.

Megan Harrington: Welcoming classes with great class structure. Organized, educational, and fun! I’ve met so many wonderful people through Tango & I!

Paul Lohman: Great dance studio run by very fun and talented folks. Learning Tango there. Beautiful space!

Morgan K: A warm and welcoming team. There will always be something new to learn here and someone supportive to help you learn it. Sabine guides classes with knowledge and nurturing.

Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Minneapolis: what do users think?

Taree McCabe: Lovely studio with amazing and passionate staff. Went to a spring introductory workshop event they put on a few weeks back and loved the experience. They offered a complimentary 1 on 1 dance lesson and I had the opportunity to dance with the instructor Named Jason. I would recommend this experience for anyone who’s interested in getting into dance. It’s a lovely studio and a low pressure environment for beginners, with clear proof of the potential for success with some work put in with the awesome staff.

Noah Mwambay: I was wrong. This place was definitely worth the investment!

Blue: Arthur Murray is a great studio. I came to the Saint Paul studio with absolutely no experience in dance, and after about a year of lessons, I feel much more confident, have a range of skills, and can enjoy dancing when I might otherwise have stood and watched. Definitely worth stopping in, even just for the introductory lessons to get a foundation. 💙💃🕺

Colby Harris: Brie was a very positive and cheerful instructor helping our group learn the basic steps of Bachata and Rumba. The group lesson had multiple sessions simultaneously in the same space, which made for minor distractions and bumping shoulders, but all in all was fun.Thank you!

Katie Hepler: My wife and I began taking weekly private lessons at Arthur Murray four months before our wedding with the intention of pulling off an awesome dance in front of our friends and family. While my wife had a dance background, I had avoided dancing for most of my life because of feeling self-conscious on the dance floor. The weekly private and group lessons gave me the confidence and skill to actually get out on the dance floor and go for it with pretty much any kind of music. On our wedding day we had a fully choreographed dance routine that wowed our audience, and we went into it without any nerves, but rather with confidence and poise. This was thanks to practicing at home, attending free group classes and performing in front of our peers and instructors at Arthur Murry.Even after our spectacular wedding dance, my wife and I are continuing to take lessons at Arthur Murray. We love learning how to move together and feeling our progress at weekly dance parties. This is largely thanks to the instructors who give the feedback you need, encourage you as you improve, and nudge you into challenging yourself and getting outside your comfort zone which is critical for a performative art such as dancing. The instructors not only know their stuff, but they’re a lot of fun too.Bottom line, dancing is fun, it’s physical as you’ll learn how to hold and move your body, you’ll get the mental challenge of constantly learning and performing in front of others, and you’ll get to actually look good out on the dance floor. Arthur Murray has been a supportive, inviting atmosphere for us and dancing has been a unique, shared experience that my wife and I will continue to enjoy throughout our lives.

Ginnifer: I went to Arthur Murrays to learn how to bachata and found out there's so much more to dancing than bachata! Ballroom dancing has been a gift, a great outlet, a form of expression for me! Arthur Murray staff and teachers are warm and friendly, and provide a positive learning environment for me to grow as a competent dancer. There's so much fun and camaraderie! I enjoy my experience with Arthur Murray Studio and highly recommend to anyone who wants to give it a try!

Mark Flaten: I am now in my third year of regular lessons at Arthur Murray. It has proven to be a positive life-changing experience. I feel part of the dancing community of students and teachers, I love the instruction I receive, and I have learned great skills in about a dozen different social dances. I attend as many of the free group dances on weeknights and free bi-weekly parties to maximize the value. My wife and I love to dance. This is the best place to learn to dance well in the Twin Cities! I find all the staff at Arthur Murray to be competent and kind and they have helped me to become passionate about dancing!

Lisa Novotny: My husband and I came to Arthur Murray 3 years ago to learn to dance for our daughter's wedding, and we've never left! It is so great to learn together, in a fun and supportive community with teachers who are so skilled and so patient. It is exercise, music, education and social--all wrapped up together! The staff and the other students are tremendous!

Eric Duffert: I had my introductory lesson today. It was awesome! The staff are professional, personable, and super fun. Nikki was wonderful and more than patient for a first-timer like myself. I would definitely recommend!

NLoett: After my Dad and my Sister had spent about a year dancing at Arthur Murray they convinced me to give it a try. After over a year of dancing I can say it's one of the best things I've ever done. The first obvious benefit is that it's good exercise, but that's not all. As someone who is on the autism spectrum and also suffers from fatigue, learning to dance has given me an incredible boost to my confidence in social situations as well as boosting my stamina. It doesn't stop there though, because the community of teachers and students is amazing. Everyone has been very supportive of me as I worked my way through all the dances and I've made some very good friends during my time there. Overall I'd recommend that just about everyone should at least give it a try. We'd love to have new members join our Arthur Murray family.

Ballroom & Wedding Dance Studio: what do users think?

Barb Silk: Tom is great. His patience with your level of understanding the moves and rhythm of music is beyond compare. It is what made it possible for my husband and I to finally dance.

Katy Grandbois: Tom is AMAZING! He is a great teacher/instructor. Even if you have zero dance experience he will help you learn the basics to build your confidence and just that will make such a difference! The hour goes by so fast! My husband and I are SO glad we did this and will use what we learned forever- with any song or style of music. My only regret is we didn’t start sooner! We only had time to fit in 4 sessions before our wedding but we are so happy with how much we’ve learned and are so excited to show off our new skills.

corey carraher (Snowjeenyus1): He was awesome in helping us feel comfortable on the dance floor! Both father daughter dance and gave us tips for the bride and groom dance. Very personable and easy to take direction from. Would absolutely recommend 👌

Eric B: 5/5 stars, our wedding would have not been as good and amazing without our dance. Everyone thought it made our wedding. We had amazed all of our wedding guests with our dancing. Thank you. We hope to do more dancing another time.

James Bjorvik: Tommy was absolutely amazing. This is not typically something I would love to do but he made it super enjoyable, and definitely so much fun! Our dance was amazing. Thank you so much, Tom.

Anna Gustafson: Tom is an amazing dance instructor! With no prior ballroom dance experience, he taught us the basics in an easy-to-understand way and built on our skills each week. Tom made us feel very comfortable and confident with our dancing. He’s very approachable and even puts on fun events over the weekends. Couldn’t recommend his classes more!

Jennifer Parker Neal: Tom Larson gave us the confidence to go for it for our first dance at our wedding. He gives very practical advice that's easy to follow and helps you get you where you want to go. We had 3 lessons, and it was exactly what we needed. Definitely worth the cost. Highly, highly recommend!

Hannah & Todd Brandon: Dance lessons with Tom are fun and SUPER effective. We felt confident and our dance was the highlight of our wedding reception! We got a 5 pack of lessons and felt excited to practice at home. Tom taught us how our moves can be used to different types of music and now we go out dancing more often.

Jeffrey Givens: My fiance and I just finished a set of lessons with Tom, and we had such a great experience. Tom is very patient and approachable, down to earth and very nice. I was hesitant at first to take dance lessons because I didn't know what to expect and thought it would be a bit demoralizing and strict. But not with Tom, he teaches and leads in a way that makes you feel very comfortable and eager to do better. He helped us break down our first dance song and understand where certain moves would work best with the timing. We would highly recommend coming here for wedding dance lessons!

Christian Haudenschild: Wonderful experience. Tom is a great teacher.

Lauren LaVelle: . He made it easy to understand the basics and gave us a few great moves without making it difficult with counting steps. We feel so confident for our first dance at our wedding, and our family all have a few great moves and techniques that they can use for a lifetime! Highly recommend!

Kelli Besser: He made us feel comfortable from day one and made sure we were always having a good time but also made sure we got every minute out of every dance lesson we took.Tom is creative, patient and knows exactly what each one of his students needs to succeed in dance lessons. We walked into Tom’s studio not knowing how to put one foot in front of the other and showed up to our wedding with a dance that left people talking about it for days after. THANK YOU TOM!- Alex and Kelli Prince

Brian M: suggested Tom to others who are interested. Even if you're just looking for lessons rather than any particular purpose, please give Tom a shot. You won't be disappointed.5/5 stars given for a job well done.

Angela Johnson: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismTom was an excellent instructor. We took 6 dance lessons before our wedding, and he was great at teaching and making things simple so it was easy to learn. We felt comfortable and confident dancing at our wedding and we are looking forward to using our skills in the future.

Julia: Tom was awesome! He really cares about his students actually learning and becoming comfortable with a dance. My husband and I learned our first dance with him for our wedding and I am so happy we did that! Our wedding guests loved it as much as we did! I had zero dancing experience and we were able to pull off a very memorable wedding dance thanks to Tom and his patience, thoroughness, follow-up, and awesome ability to teach! I highly recommend!

Ronald and Edith Reese: Exceptionally creative and patient. Created routines for us for two family weddings: bride and groom, father daughter, mother son dances. You can’t find a better place for this. Our daughter came from NC just for Tom’s lessons.

Emily Eckberg: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueTom does a great job tailoring lessons to your skill level and pace. He makes you feel comfortable and helps build confidence in your dance moves.

Dancers Studio: what do users think?

Hailey Meshefski: My husband and I booked dance lessons for our first dance song at our wedding. Jessica was a fantastic teacher and took extra time and thought into creating the perfect choreography.

Prim Ilagan: Dancer Studio is a very welcoming place to learn to dance. Come as a couple or single, partners are rotated so there’s a chance to dance with everyone in the class. On this occasion the lesson was Rumba, the class starts out with the basic steps then more steps are added, usually a turn is added by the end of class you’ve learned a whole pattern. Everyone is kind and are all there to learn together. Jessica is a great instructor, her pink shoes are fabulous.

Rene Klein: Kate and Gordon Bratt have created the most amazing atmosphere! Highly recommend everyone get their dance on!!

Blake Pabst: Dancers showcase tonight. Incredible instructors and students. Fun time, and always a great crowd!

Sandy Pham-Vang: My husband and I are very new to dancing. We wanted to just get comfortable and learn something new. We had few private and group lessons with Jessica and she was very patient and a great teacher! She took the time and explain and showed us many different steps and how they work together. We had some group lessons with Quang also and he was great! Good pace for new beginners! We still have a lot to learn and we know it's going to take some time. Thank you Dancers Studio!

Lauren Zoellner: Dancers Studio is an amazing place! Kate and Gordon are truly invested in helping people learn to dance and they make it super fun! They are both very friendly, bubbly and funny people who are happy to help out or answer questions. If you're looking to do ballroom dance, this is a GREAT place to do it!!!

Talk to Gordon if you really want to learn about the studio and dancing. Not sure if dancing is for you? Come to a beginner class! If you want to bring your dancing to the next level, make sure you take a private lesson! Sometimes they'll give free introductory lessons, so don't be shy.You won't regret trying this amazing dance school!

Callie Driscoll: intending to take some lessons and be a more polished social dancer. I took 1.5 lessons and signed up for a membership because my life was changed and I can't ever go back to pre- Dancers Studio days. You won't regret giving this studio a shot- it is the most warm, welcoming, instructive, and safe environment that may not change your life the way it did mine but it most certainly will enhance it.

Kristin Johnson: My husband and I did a first dance package for our wedding in May and it was such an INCREDIBLE experience! Paris, our instructor, was quirky and fun and did an amazing job choreographing our dance. We spent each lesson laughing and having a blast. Our first dance went perfectly on our wedding day and the absolute eruption of applause was something I'll never forget. I received numerous compliments saying it was the best first dance they'd ever seen. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

William Scripps: Couldn't imagine a better community. Personable, professional, fun people.

Fred Astaire Dance Studios - South Metro: what do users think?

Angie Smith: We did a set of 5 lessons with them to prepare us for our wedding. We learned a slow dance and some swing. Having some legit dance moves for our first dance was awesome. Thanks for your patience with us and helping us get down the moves! Would recommend, but if you're looking for a specifically choreographed to you dance, this may not be the place for that.

Roxanne Molskness: . Beth is a great teacher with lots of great tricks to help us remember what we are supposed to do and lots of patience too. Nice dance spaces, options for practice before and after the lessons and friendly staff make it a good way to learn! Excited to try another lesson. Wish they had studios in the north side of the cities.

Justin Lee: Fred Astaire great dance teacher Jess. Super nice and accommodating. Great place to learn dancing.

Bobby Jackson: My wife and I recently joined started some classes off of the Living Social offer. We are now hooked. The staff is very friendly and inclusive and have made it very easy for myself with two left feet and my wife to dance together giving us an even stronger connection as husband and wife than before.

D G Francuz: . The folks who operate Fred Astaire have to put bread on the table too. However they worked with me to develop a multi-class package that includes some dance parties that sound like a lot of fun. I don't know if they do this for everyone, but they allow me to break down the cost into smaller payments that I can easily afford. You know what? My next lesson is in a couple of days, and I just can't wait! Thanks, Fred Astaire!

Knesha Strassburg: . I've had so much fun learning on my own for a few years now. My boyfriend saw how much fun I was having and asked if he could join in. We're have a wonderful time spending quality time with quality people, who I now like to call family.

george frew: Great instructors! very good at teaching to your level and comfort.

Ryan Quinlivan: They are great! My girlfriend got us dance lessons for Christmas and both of us were pretty nervous and pretty poor dancers, but we had more fun than we ever thought would be possible — the two lessons far exceeded our expectations. Chad is hilarious!

jason kerfeld: Check it out. .... you will NOT be disappointed!

Dance With Us America: what do users think?

Samantha Burwinkel: My fiance and I took wedding dance lessons with Jordan. She is so creative and thoughtful, and helped us develop an unforgettable first dance. Neither of us had any dance experience prior to this, but she took her time and helped us master first the simple steps, then some more challenging ones. She is so enthusiastic and encouraging. We had five sessions with her and feel that we are ready for our wedding day! This has absolutely been our favorite part of planning our wedding and I recommend everyone try a fun choreographed first dance with Jordan!

Orlando Rodriguez: Positive:Quality,Value

Matt Kane: They're the best.

Rachelika's Art: Great Dance Studio ! Proffesional instruction and all they do ! Knowledgeable instructors ! Liam Titan: Always a welcoming feeling and great environment at Dance with us America! Gene and Lena bring a lot of passion and love into everything they do! Highly recommended

Ashley Cooper: I have danced at one point or another at almost all the ballroom and latin studios in the metro and surrounding area. I wish I would have started with Dance With Us America. There is no comparison to other studios. All of the teachers have something unique to offer depending on your interests. From social to beginner on up to competitive dancing, you will amaze yourself at what can be accomplished even in just one lesson. You don’t need a partner. Truly anyone can learn to dance- from 4 years to beyond retirement age. The owners, Gene and Elena, are probably some of the coolest people you will ever meet- incredible dancers, passionate teachers and fun to be around. I look forward to every single group or private lesson.

Tari Sherry: By far the best studio in Minnesota. No matter what your age, learning to dance is hard work. But this team of instructors make it fun, exciting and challenging.

I have so much fun here and I look forward to training here each week!!

Costa Rica Ballroom Hopkins: what do users think?

Emerson Gage: Great place, great teachers. Loads of styles and the events are very fun

Connie Knipp: Costa Rica Ballroom is a fantastic studio. Eli and Rebecca are the owners and are wonderful people and instructors. I started taking dance lessons from Eli for Latin dances. However, he is very good at a rhythm and smooth dances so I dance those with him as well. Eli is a very kind person, a patient instructor, and is able to break down dance steps to make things easier to learn. I always look forward to my lessons.

Isidro Gallardo: Excellent Dance Studio. I have been taking lesson for more than 5 years. I absolutely recommended.

Barb: My husband Larry and I have been part of the Costa Rica Ballroom family for many years now! A lot of people can dance but it’s a whole other thing to be able to teach! Eli and his wife Rebecca along with the rest of the teaching staff are able to break down how to dance even if you’ve never put a foot on the dance floor! As adults, life’s responsibilities often take priority over creative expression and “ play”. We get to spend time every week with people who want to learn, dance to inspiring music and be part of a community that feels like family!Costa Rica Ballroom has changed our lives for the better and brought a lot more sparkle into our days! House of Dance Twin Cities: what do users think?

Aleeza M: I'm always going to be proud to say I started my dancing journey at HOD. With an environment so focused on learning, it creates an openness for each dancer to truly express themselves their own way. I hope to see HOD expand across minneapolis so more people experience this dancing community. So thankful for HOD and the community it is building!

Alex Boeser: My 5.5 year old daughter just finished Hip Hop for Tots classes here. David was incredible at getting everyone involved, made lessons manageable and interesting for the kids, and had unbelievable patience. Bryn was another instructor who put a lot of effort and patience into the classes, and I will absolutely encourage my daughter to continue classes here if the other instructors are anything like them.

Ashley YangTao: 10/10 recommend! House of Dance is an amazing place for students of all ages to learn, grow, and build community all while having fun. Their staff is the best in Minnesota with amazing knowledge and technique. Highly recommend taking classes here or attending one of their battles!

Juice: This is the best dance studio in the world!

Nina Watts: My daughter had a great time

Jennifer Skavnak: We love love love House of Dance TC! Our son has been taking breakdancing lessons there for two years now. Jake, Leroy, and the rest of the instructors are fantastic. In addition to teaching the kids breakdancing skills, they also really emphasize with the kids how crucial it is to respect each other and learn from each other. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Susan: First day, great first impression!

E J P: but to also jam to their playlists! 😆 The staff can dance their butts off!? The studio is clean and inviting as well. I would definitely recommend! 🎧

They are always positive, friendly, and really motivating! They make you want to come back and dance more! Have had more than 10 lessons here and will have many more!

Heather: What are you waiting for? I had never taken dance lessons as a child and I was able to learn from scratch, and you can too! It’s fantastic full body/mind exercise, and teaches you so much about your partner/self. The teachers are the cherry on top as they are just wonderful. Time to go dance! 💃 🕺

Ted Wallerstedt: Went for a Wedding Consultantion. Lots of fun.

Blue: Arthur Murray is a great studio to learn and practice dance, regardless of your level of experience. The intro classes are really helpful, and the daily group classes/parties are a great way to practice new dances and moves, to get experience with a variety of people and styles. I have been coming here for almost a year now; each time is a new experience and I always learn something, constantly developing my skills and building on what I know. I highly recommend you stop in and give it a try if you have any inclination! 💙💃🕺💙

John Anderson: I have done a couple private lessons and a group dance and it was great. The teachers are really good at explaining everything in easy to learn steps. My experience so far has been very fun and rewarding.

Marcus Boeckman: Good for learning ballroom dances. If you are interested in learning less formal types of dance I would recommend elsewhere. Still learned a lot and had fun.

Nikki Arcand: I have had nothing but wonderful experiences here! The instructors are super friendly and really care about your progress as a student. The group classes and parties are a blast and a fantastic way to work on everything you're learning in your lessons. I feel like every time I go in, I learn either something new entirely, or a new layer of something I'm already working on. And I always leave in a better mood than when I came in! This has basically become my happy place - and I truly feel like I'm part of a big loveably eccentric family!
