Corrin Duque: This is the second year my kids have done full day all summer. This week they needed to miss a few days for vacation and both said they felt torn because they wanted to go on vacation but didn’t want to miss any days of tennis!" I go at lunch time sometimes to watch them and they are always having a blast while learning great skills! They also made great friends from various schools that they keep in touch with all year. We hope to do it again next summer ALL SUMMER LONG!
Daniel Lozano: Twin City Tennis Camps are just amazing! They have great instructors for the kids and they have locations all over the metro area with amazing flexibility in schedules to book certain weeks and change if needed. Plus, the management team just makes things easy to get signed up. We enrolled our kids there last summer and they are coming back again this year for more time!
Richard McNamara: Wonderful camp at the Bethel location. Wonderful coaches and director. All abilities are provided the attention and guidance they need. My son and his friend were beginning player and made great progress during the week long camp. Excellent communication about schedule and weather changes. Highly recommend!

Great music, mix of games, positive environment and the instructors were encouraging and kind. Dan does an incredible job with running these camps and I highly recommend this camp to any kid!
Nicole Ollhoff: My 4.5 yo attended the Golden Valley camp this summer and had a great time! It was a balanced mix of tennis instruction along with games, water play, and playground time. The coaches are great and we especially loved the director, Dan. Great energy and an obvious passion for what he does. We are looking forward to doing a few more sessions with them next summer!
Nicole Aul: love this camp is an understatement. They were signed up for half days since it’s their first summer camp experience and we figured 3.5 hours of tennis would be plenty. Man, we were wrong! It’s so much more than tennis! They provide kid centered activities from games, park play and water fun. Not to mention the snacks for sale that had my kids eager to do chores to make a dollar :
Ajay Pai: group, where she was taught the basics in a fun, engaging way. Right from day one, she loved it. As she got better, she was moved to the orange ball level, and after that, to the green dot level. Through a combination of fun games and learning activities, she learned the basics of strokes, rallies, serve and volley, and even match play - loving it every step of the way.Throughout the summer, Dan and team monitored progress and took a genuine interest in her development. They gave us feedback on how she was doing, and were very flexible to our needs. Thanks to the immersion program, our child has gone from not knowing how to swing a racket to now being able to play games. More importantly, she has developed a love for the game. We will definitely be continuing with TCTC!
Tedd Mendes: Lights are not programmed for day light savings but the nets are still up if you can get there early enough.
Danica Cohen: This was my first time taking tennis lessons, and as an adult I was apprehensive before starting. The instructors were super friendly and the lessons were a good variety of drills and practicing against other players at similar levels. I would recommend this program to my friends and plan on taking lessons again this spring

Dawn Figueroa: Sent my son the summer before he junior year. It was a life changing experience he will carry with him forever. He absolutely took in the whole experience and applies it in his daily living.
Bob Isenberger: The absolute best camp that we have ever sent our boys too or attended myself!! The knowledge about wrestling and himself that he gained at the camp along with his roommate helping him get through it were the best thing for him this summer. He can’t wait to apply everything that he learned at the camp for his upcoming wrestling season!!!! Barbara Vislosky: This was life changing for my 17 year old son!! He was challenged in every way as an athlete as well as a person. He’s definitely a better wrestler because of the month long camp but more noticeable is the change in him as a person. The motivational talks and goalsetting he learned at JROB has truly changed his life. He will take these experiences with him always.........It’s not just about wrestling. This may sound cliche, but he left a boy and came home a man! I highly recommend this experience for any kid tough enough to take the challenge!!!

Andy Hawbaker: Great experience for my son. This camp not only taught technique but focused on the intangible skills of drive and determination of completing a goal and the will to do so on a daily basis. If you have a kid that has a passion for wrestling this is the camp for them. My son also had two team mates attend with him which was a plus.
Pat Metz, Sr: Two of my sons did the OR intensive camp and thrived on the challenge, discipline and consistency. Joseph did the camp for a second year, "because I did not get the black hat the first year and I want to get the black hat". It was great to see a kid set a goal and give it his best to achieve that goal as Joseph did receive the black hat.
Matt: In 1985 & 86, I graduated from J's 28 day camp. Everyday, since then, I have used the things taught to me while being there.I can not emphasize what a great experience this could have on your young person.J is an extraordinary person, that can leave his finger prints, on the rest of your life!Matt
esmeralda tijerina: My son attended the 28 day j rob camp in summer of 2016 and loved it. He said it was hard but fun and would definitely go back and recommends that others go too. From my observation the camp isn't only about wrestling but also about teaching kids responsibility in their day to day life. I've seen a positive change with my son both on and off the mat and my son speaks very highly of J Rob. If you can make it happen this is a must go to camp!!
Timothy Higgins: My two sons Justin and Connor attended JRob technique camp as 9 and 10 year olds they loved that camp and asked to attend the JRob 10 day camp in Iowa for more of a physical challenge ending with the half marathon. Justin improved his wrestling by 10 wins and just missed a state entry in a true-second match my younger boy Connor broke his clavical but was still able to rehab and make a run at state falling short of placing by 1 match, I have no doubt that without JRob camp neither boy would have seen the success they did, they both were very inspired by JRob and his staff I hope your camps continue to see this type of success and inspire more youth to wrestle at 150 percent for each match. Thank you JRob for being a inspirational figure in wrestling through the years, with the teams and camps you have coached at.
Camelle B.: . It was, the most trying, soul-wrenching month of his 18 years. Thank you for instilling in him the belief that he can accomplish great things, that hard work DOES pay off, that accomplishments take sacrifice. He placed first in our Region, was named Wrestler of the Year in our Region, and this past weekend became 2016 Alaska State Champ at #138 lbs.
Mike Gwilliam: Wrestling is an excellent sport and builds discipline and character. That being said I wanted my son to attend the JROB 10 day Intensive Camp, for improvement in wrestling but more importantly to have him succeed in an extremely challenging environment to learn what he is capable of. My son received the coveted "I Did It T-shirt", a feat he'll remember for the rest of his life. A mind and body stretched beyond it's current state, never regains it's original dimensions.Matt won 5 matches in 3 years of Junior High wrestling. His Freshman year he had more wins than losses; big improvement. He attended JROB after Freshman year. His Sophomore year Matt injured his shoulder right before regionals and was out for the year. A kid he beat took fourth at sectionals and went to state. His improvement is a testimony of the effectiveness of a JROB camp. This year Matt is doing another 10 day camp: 5days technique and 5 days competition. Matt will make it to state next year.Send your son to JROB, not just to become a better wrestler, but to become a higher functioning young person that is limitless in potential in every area of his life!

She loves it though, they keep her very engaged, one teacher played Mad Libs games that she loved, and they go outside to the playground a lot. I really want to sign up for some adult classes now, her projects look so fun!
Brandi Leder: My daughter has done 4 different summer camps here and they have all been great! As far as keeping the kids safe during covid they seem to be doing a great job. If someone isn't wearing their mask properly they help them adjust it. Which is more than I can say about other camps.
Nina: Articulture is amazing! Providing artistic opportunities all while supporting local artist! The executive director Liz is an amazing spirit! Everyone here including the retail comittee are awesome. You can find unique items at the gift shop and they provide basic art supplies too!

Adeel Ahmad: We've done 3 camps here so far this summer and have one more to go. My five year-old has been loving it and I highly recommend it. We've been doing half-days but I would easily recommend full days.At the end of each week I'm amazed at how much they produced during the week, even doing half-days which usually include snack and walk outside.The topics of each camp are extremely diverse and I had a hard time narrowing down to just the four weeks that we needed. Prices are very reasonable for what you get, which is excellent teachers, excellent staff and excellent curriculums.

Most of our kids only played on the Xbox version, but he gave them a quick lesson on the PC, and we had a hard time getting the kids off the computers to eat. My son said it was the best party he has ever had!

Adjacent to the Minneapolis institute of Art or MIA which is a wonderful art museum, right down down the street from the Walker Art Center which is an excellent contemporary Art Museum/resource complete with the late great Siah Armajani’s fantastic poetry bridge that takes one over and or back from the lovely Lorring Park where there is much to see and do.

Monica Gould: Our experience at Groves has been truly transformational. We have seen significant growth in our son, not only with his reading, writing, and math - and really all academics, but also in his confidence and social/emotional development. This school is a special place and we have found it to be incredibly supportive of our family and our son. If you have a child with dyslexia or learning differences, I highly recommend visiting Groves and seeing for yourself how they support students and families.

Lisa Bilcik: Groves Academy is a special place. For children that fit one or many of the profiles for which Groves is equipped to serve, it is not a cliche to say that the educational experience is life changing for both students and their families. It is real and is true for our family. I noted a negative comment from a parent whose child did fit the profile and he was disappointed when his child was not accepted to Groves after a summer school experience. I can understand the frustration when you are seeking a school that fits your child and an option you thought may work does not. I wish that parent the best of luck in finding the right fit. I know it's hard and emotional. From a different perspective, for us, one of the positives about Groves is that it is not a place that tries to serve all children who are challenged by traditional instruction or otherwise struggle. Rather, its programs are focused on particular needs, and their methods work. On the upside, Groves' recent investment in its outreach program, led by former head of school, John Alexander, will help other schools find ways to provide more services to their students to help more kids find their best path to a good and meaningful education.
Kathy Eischens: Groves is a fabulous school with teachers and staff who truly care and will do what it takes to help kids with learning differences succeed. We will be forever grateful for the impact Groves has had on our childrens' lives.
