This is one of the nicest if not the nicest mens store and now women’s in the country I may say. They have anything you need. I felt like I was in the Mall Of America! Glenn Reed (glenno6767): I was there looking for work shoes. They had a large section for men's shoes, especially for larger sizes, up to 14. Not much in the way of functional work shoes. Mostly just dress and casual shoes. They did have one pair of Dr. Martens boots in a size 14. They were a bit more than I was planning to spend but they were on sale so I got a good deal and I know they're going to last.

Rasikanand Harvind: It was... alright lol. Going by the other reviews here, you would assume service was terrible. That's not the case at all. When I needed help finding something, they were quick to help. They stuck around until I found what I needed. Checkout was swift. The selection is decent. I do think their style offerings in 2021 and 2022 are too casual and somewhat offputting even, but overall I like J.Crew's cut and fabrics. They have been much more liberal with their sales since the pandemic.Some of reviews here are classist and rude. Give these guys a break.

RJ: interested in drag, shopping for women's clothing & accessories can be a bit intimidating. However, the owner was so nice and accommodating. He welcomed me into the store and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel judged whatsoever. I really liked the fact that they have an AMAZING selection of heels, especially since I needed a size 12 in heels, and they had many options. Many people had recommended I go to Bondesque, but they did not have the selection that Venus has, and Venus's prices are also better. I'm so glad I saw Venus next door and decided to go in. I'd choose this store any day over Bondesque. Oh and in regards to people complaining about the parking, well, it's a small business off of lake street in uptown, so what do you expect? There's free parking on side streets nearby, otherwise look for a metered spot and go during a time of day with less traffic. I highly recommend this store!
