Hyland Hills Ski Area: what do users think?

Sponge bob Square pants: Very nice ski park. People will help out if you ask and everything is organized. The bathrooms were clean and the was a nice place to eat. Great first experience for skiing. Customer service was very nice.Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …

DAVID WEST: Honestly, it is the best ski place in the country, but you close way too early in the season. There is snow for at least two more extra months, and that is also losing money 💰 .People want you to stay open longer while there is snow ❄️ on the ground. Common sense too.Think think think about it, please 🙏

Minh Nguyen: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait

Bobby M: First off I really love Hyland. It’s a beautiful facility and they do a great job maintaining the runs and terrain park especially with this difficult winter that’s been thrown at them. But I’m shocked by the bigotry, racism, homophobia, and bullying I see in the terrain park. Tonight I helped a foreign exchange student whose binding had an issue after someone ran into her. She was stuck halfway down the hill struggling to fix it while kids mocked her for not speaking English. Another young adult was bullying my elementary school son all night trying to shake him off the tow rope. I tried to get him to focus on the nice kids he encountered, but the bullies definitely affect his feelings towards the sport.

The Alpine Factory: what do users think?

Sarah Manning: This was such a fun experience! I am from TX and just don’t get opportunities like this very much. Jess was AMAZING! She was incredibly patient and helpful. I was a true beginner and I was nervous! She took me from wobbly scaredy cat to capable beginner! I just wanted a winter sports experience before I left MN, and I had so much fun I booked a second session before I flew out! I definitely left with a lot more confidence and skills and would recommend this to anyone wanting to try to learn a new skill!

Ehsan Nahvi: Best place to learn skiing, hone your skills and practice off-season. This was my second time trying downhill skiing. I took a lesson at a ski resort previously, but this one was way better where I got much better feedback and learned far more. The price for the lessons are reasonable too!

Grace Dan Li: Jess, the owner is amazing and super patient with my daughter and me who are brand new with skiing. We should have found this great place earlier. After the first class, we decided to get their class package right away and get ready for the ski season.

Daniel Shumaker: A fantastic experience all around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend taking a class here especially if it's your first time. The experience is a bit different from skiing on actual snow, but the nature of the setup allows for a lot more instant feedback from the instructor than you'd get on a real slope.

Jeremy Powers: Great staff, great learning experience.

Matthew Naschak: Jessica @ The Alpine Factory is one of the best instructors I have ever work with. I work as a ski instructor in Aspen and this was an one of a kind instructional tool that Jessica guides you through to become either acquainted to the sport of skiing or more precise as an athlete. Truly a unique experience deserves more than five out of five stars.

Lyle Newman: Great summer training for perfect ski technique, really enjoyed my time there. Not many opportunities in the US indoors with this level of professional equipment. Minnesota is lucky to have this facility and instructors.

Brandon Guest: Great day of indoor alpine ski training!

Dale Nugent: What a great option for learning skiing or training to perfect your technique. The staff is very service oriented and knowledgeable. Lots of fun and a bit of a workout.

Tim Werts: Great staff! Great environment! And a wonderful surface to really hone your skills in on.
