Tapestry Folkdance Center: what do users think?

Alejandra Barreto Andrade: Excellent place to take Zumba classes with the best instructor Charilyn, Wednesday 7:10 pm and Saturday 9am

Red Red: dad and Madison Daddy Daughter Dance I

Stacy King: Five stars for zouk! Alli & Raj are the best!!

Suzette Wanninkhof: This was my first experience with ecstatic dance, and it was incredible! A really welcoming person at the door gave me a run down of the norms, and the vibe of dancing was perfect. Great DJ, very consent-focused space, so freeing.

Jacque G: A spacious place for folk dancing, well kept and attractive. There's a large studio for events and smaller practice rooms. Limited parking is available as well as street parking.

Daniel Jandrin: I went for Contra. Everyone is helpful and patient with a newbie. I had unfortunately arrived late, but still had a few people take their time to give me a crash course in how to do particular moves. The community here is top notch.

Tazz Films: I love bringing my family to Dance Church

Lydia McAnerney: A wonderful, inclusive, and genuinely welcoming place to dance. First timers welcome...all dances and steps taught.

Aaron Hodge Silver: Friendly neighborhood dance place - SO MUCH variety! 🕺🏻

JRob Zetelumen: Dance church was perfect. There was no sermon, no proselytizing, just a connection to a spiritual center through the act of dancing because we are all spiritual beings and spirits want to dance. It was so easy to trance out and feel liberated from mundane limitations

Hollie Benton: A happy, friendly place. Great community and always welcoming.

Justin Savageau: Love this place! Been here for dance church/shake your bones. Wonderful welcoming space great tunes and vibes all around. Will continue to come back

DeMure Dance: what do users think?

Craig Hutchison: Had so much fun! The instruction is quite clear, positive and low-pressure. But with just enough accountability that you will actually develop your skill. After 4 weeks I went from zero to feeling confident enough to hit the dance floor. Happily signing up for another session.

Lisa Willis: Demure Dance Salsa One was a great introduction to Salsa! The instructors are great teachers, breaking up the dance in steps that make it easy to understand as you progress. And it’s so fun!

Chiharu Miller: Shaleena is a wonderful instructor. I leaned a lot from her. Fun and casual atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Erin Raab: Wonderful! I was a little worried about taking group classes on my own, and I haven't danced in ages, but this was both super fun and great learning. I feel like I progressed a LOT in just four weeks.

Nahomy Arauz: I took Salsa class level I, and I really liked it! The instructor, Shaleena, is very patient and friendly. She really makes the class enjoyable. You don’t feel judge or out of place. She is there to answer all of your questions and always give you feedback to improve. I’m excited to join class level II. 🏻

Trever Cramer: Great dance studio. Instructors are great and friendly. Had a great time with the level 1 class.

Carmel Do Rego: I have been taking Salsa classes for the first time through DeMure and have been loving the experience. The instructors are super knowledgeable and help us feel comfortable and more confident. 100% would recommend!

Amit Saronwala: and my wife and I plan to continue our salsa journey with Demure…

Jess Castellanos: I took Salsa level one and enjoyed my experience. The instructors explained and answered any questions we had, they were also very patient. Looking forward to learning more dance moves and taking more classes from them. I recommend you check them out!

Tony Truong: Instructors are down to earth and make learning dance a great experience. Classes progress at a nice pace and you can't beat the price!

Hula: Took level 1 salsa class here, amazing place to learn and have fun

Noni Snider: I'm so glad I took this class. Me and my guy, who is very shy and doesn't like dancing in front of anyone, took the level one and he loved it. We're signed up for level two and can't wait to start. The instructors are very patient and knowledgeable about there craft. I highly recommend.

Mark Bluhm: Super fun salsa classes.

Chelsea Phillip: Demure Dance is the best dance school in town! Instructors are very knowledgeable and will make you feel like a pro in no time. On top of being super friendly they are very patient and want to see all their students succeed and have the best time while they dance! Highly recommend you check them out.

Leilah Luna: Love this dance studio! Instructors are friendly. I took salsa 1 and had a great time. Planning to continue taking lessons till im a pro lol

Paul Tapia: Very fun dance studio, instructors are great and are active in the local scene! 🕺

Richard Kreutzmann: Fantastic studio with energetic instructors! Having never danced in my life I found it a comfortable and welcome setting. Me and my Girlfriend will be returning for more! Could not recommend enough.

Natnael Geremew: Love the studio. Our instructor knew the dance very well. All around great place to learn to dance.

Jonah Schoenfelder: Both instructors are greatly skilled, high energy, and always willing to take a moment and help you out individually! Definitely would recommend Demur Dance Studios for some of the best Salsa in the Twin Cities!

Gay 90's Minneapolis: what do users think?

Kortney Mayer: So much fun, cages and stripper poles you can dance on too. The bartenders were so nice and their fits were 🔥

kelsie: I been going to the 90’s since i been 18 i took a little time away cause i had moved away but i came back and it felt like nothing changed i feel extremely safe there security does great work on handling things they need to. I go out with my girl’s every now and then. Bartenders are wonderful. Staff just in general are pretty great. I have never not felt safe when being out with friends.

Madyson Wilkie: We almost missed out because of the previous reviews!!! Do NOT miss out 😂lol. It was such a great time. Don’t do anything you aren’t supposed to and you’ll have a blast. I personally didn’t have a problem with security they actually navigated me to the next mini parts of the club, super nice people if you’re nice back! Don’t act a fool and you won’t have any issues. Tip your bartenders! I will definitely be back ❤️3 I was definitely skeptical about getting ripped off but everyone was amazing

Isabella Stone-Dahl: so he had that taken away before entering and he picked it up as we were leaving.Upon walking in, the vibe was chaotic in a good way. The bathroom was fine, no soap though, and low stall doors which had been mentioned before.Drinks were overpriced but what do you expect in downtown Minneapolis, if you want to save money stay home.I can say that if you want to go, go. There were many different bars with different vibes. Don't be dumb and vape in the bathrooms/give your underage friends drinks. That'll get you kicked out. There is a coat check which I didn't know about, for four jackets to be checked it was $16.Go and have a good time! Be mindful and enjoy yourself.

Skyway Theatre: what do users think?

Tina Columbus: The only issue was there were a lot of stairs.

Alex Inamagua (Alexito): Great venue for EDM artists

J P: Each and every single employee there is simply amazing. I needed accomodations, and they never made me feel uncomfortable about that. The sound is great, bathrooms are very clean, safe, and monitored. You can park really easily on the street, or the nearby parking garages.A+ venue.Since the event, I have also heard the artists' comment on what a great venue this was, and how accomodating all of the staff was to them also.

tony Smith: My absolute favorite venue in the twin cities. Wasn't rail, it's there. Need to sit, head upstairs. Perfect size for so many shows.

The only thing was this old Caucasian women with glasses tried to boss me . Yes I know ur not supposed totake pictures but she almost got her hand broken for trying to grab my phone. Yes she made me delete but still saved. Ever since we were walking in she was bossy and pushed one woman along

way sim: I love this theatre. The balcony seats have a great view of the stage. The bathrooms could use an update on the first floor. It is a long wait in line.

The Lab Theater: what do users think?

Hazel Zimmerman: As a performer here, the staff were exceptionally kind, and everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. Thank you, Lab Theater!

Brian Wene: Great Mpls theater hosting wonderful companies such as the fabulous Interact Center. I highly suggest checking out 'Feast of Fools' presented by Interact and really anything at the Lab Theater. A really wonderful arena for live performance. Highly recommended for performances in a very comfortable setting. Enjoy!

Chad Spilker: I’ve attended both the Minneapolis Burlesque Festival and Pink & White Ball multiple times at this beautiful venue. The stage is impressive and I’ve always enjoyed myself at this venue. Well organized, friendly staff and convenient parking right across the street.

Lord Don Anderson: Great show

Aaron Goetting: Very cool venue!

Chanda Varma: Saw Sueno by Pangea. Amazing! If u get a chance please go! Very well done!!!

Josephine C: Went here for a theater performance, and it was absolutely beautiful.

InsaneMax: The building is nice, it's auditorium is wonderful however, it has a large staircase so anyone with a fear of heights might want to avoid more than others

Adam Conrad: Wonderful venue with a unique backdrop and staging.

Camille Speck: We were absolutely delighted by The Moving Company's production of What If on the last day of its run. Such a cool theatre space too, like a blank canvas primed for painting with words and action. We'll definitely be back.

The Fillmore - Minneapolis: what do users think?

Peighton Lelonek: Great place for a concert

Zach Jams: They really take care of their customers and they had free picture stations. It had great sound quality as well

Bull Snark: The Concert itself was great! The only feedback I have, Is maybe having a gate Around all the early entry people In the future. I spent a lot of money for a meeting great with early entry so we can get a front spot But when the general admission people came in Somehow Between the beginning and the middle of the show They nudged their way in front of us.

Kristen W: Had a great experience here for the 502s! The staff at the barricade was handing out water bottles for free and security at the entrance was efficient and organized. Street parking, paid lots, and garages nearby made for pretty easy parking. Lots of fun restaurants and bars around too!

Jeffrey Meade: Great place great staff. No bags were allowed but luckily I was able to coat check my camel pack and they did have easy access to cold water which was nice

Alex Ardolf: Great venue, little over packed though.

Tiffany Sonterre: Saw Daniel Sloss. Venue is beautiful, fun show!

Vanessa Zins: If it wasn't for the terrible chairs, this would be a top-notch venue. I saw a comedian perform here, and the first joke was how physically close I was to my stranger seat neighbor. We touched from shoulders to thighs because the chairs are so close together. There isn't much space to walk through the row if people are sitting, so there was a lot of adjusting if someone had to get by. The venue is beautiful, and the unique art and decor paired with black lights make it visually stimulating. The bathrooms are clean, and the stalls are spacious. We had to walk through a metal detector when entering the building, and they had limits on purse/bag size.

They have an array of classes and levels available to suit anyone’s needs, with affordable prices, easy to use sign up system, and a beautiful facility with wonderful high ceilings and cute marquee to boot! Katelyn Storch: I've been taking classes at dollhouse for a little over a year and it's been the best experience! The instructors are friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. The environment is body positive, judgement free, and I walk away feeling so empowered after class. Highly recommend especially if you're considering getting into pole dance, because I had no prior experience and now I'm in love with it!

daddyasf100: i’ve been going here weekly for about a year. The idea of it was intimidating at first but as soon as i got there the environment was very welcoming and everyone seemed friendly. after like one class i fell in love with with the art of it. the instructors are all really nice and encouraging. it’s become a very positive community, and it really feels like a second home for me and lots of other people. I’m happy i chose this studio and i highly recommend it to anyone. it’s also very clean and the interior is cute 10/10

cheyanne jefferson: Super nice staff, very fun way to exercise. The vibe at this place is unmatched. They are a judgement free zone. The dancers all support and cheer for each other.

Quynh Nguyen: 3/27/23 - still love the studio and take classes here, the instructors are all very kindly and supportive! Changed my life and mindset to take pole classes and I can't recommend them enough.I've spent a LOT of money and time trying out all kinds of fitness fads, gym memberships, and workout equipment. I really had a hard time just sticking to anything because I wasn't "hell yes" about lifting weights or sweating in yoga class. Then I had a friend invite me to an open pole class and I was hooked. Pole dance class is a LOT of fun, with good vibes and supportive instructors. It's taught me to appreciate my physicality and celebrate my strengths, and to be attentive to my weaknesses. Highly recommend!

Isabella Sybrant: So glad I made the choice to try this. I just finished taking my first class and it was so fun and I felt so comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone who is nervous in trying this, DO IT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!☺️☺️

Anthony Marks: Started coming here last month and I’ve loved everything about it! Nicki and Jess are fabulous teachers. I love getting to know the staff and they love to answer any questions or give referrals! Perfect for complete beginners- come as you are, no judgement, all kinds of body types and shapes! The room in the back for open pole is great too if you don’t have a pole at home, it has definitely helped me progress. Download the Dollhouse Pole app to buy classes and schedule easily 👌🏼

Kamiko Higashi: I’ve been going here for a few years now & I don’t have a single negative thing to say about Dollhouse! There are classes for all levels, it is an inclusive, and body positive place! If you’ve been on the fence about trying pole dancing I highly recommend you give dollhouse a chance. Also, keep mind this place is popular so you may need to plan ahead due to classes sometimes filling up fast!

D Valle: I'm just interested in attending to show support to you ladies, i don't suppose they have classes for men right? I'm open to new experiences Id be more than happy to learn a new skill
