Raelyn Lau: Nice little shop. Lots of batiks and many beautiful kits to choose from if youd like a specific project. While there is plenty of quilting fabric, this isn't a place you'll find much selection of licensed fabrics, so be aware.
Cindy: I love Creative Sewing Center!! Diane, the manager, is the best! She is very well informed and goes out of her way to make sure her customers are happy. They carry a variety of manufacturers, I am Baby Lock all the way, so she is able to find a machine to fit your needs. There are other stores closer to me but the extra few miles are worth the drive knowing I'm going to get exactly what I need!!

I put my Singer Featherweight together incorrectly - I mean how can you screw up putting in a bobbin? - he did not even laugh at me but fixed it as I waited and told me other "information" tips for the machine. I live an hour away from his shop but return there for service and give his business card to quilt guilds.

After reading the great reviews we gathered up our machine and went to see David. He spent 30 minutes getting it all set and sort of a mini-training session with my spouse. Candice Davis: David was very friendly and extremely helpful. I was a walk-in repair client, expecting to potentially need to leave my machine for a few weeks to be fixed. David immediately started working on my machine and was able to correct the issue within around 20 minutes and for a more than reasonable price! My sewing machine hasn't worked so well in the whole time I've owned it! Can't recommend Gratz enough. They also have a great selection of useful, high quality sewing supplies. I will surely be back!

When it stopped working entirely, I took it to Grantz and in 10 minutes it was purring like a kitten. It works so much better now. Website is difficult to look at because it's a wall of text on mobile. Other than that nothing bad to say, from my experience they do what they do well.

Mike Boardley: Excellent service. I brought all my kitchen knives in to be sharpened. The Dr. worked his magic and I picked up my knives razor sharp. Brisket trimming has never been easier. Thank you for doing a great job. I will definitely be returning when I need my knives sharpened.
The Howards: We brought my mom's very old Singer sewing machine to Dr Willy and he was a joy to work with. Thoughtful, knowledgeable, and kind! We paid the same amount for a tune-up here as we would've at a chain store and I loved being able to support a small, local business. He makes his own hours so be sure to call before you go in. Dr Willy went above and beyond and added in extras just out of the kindness of his heart... like fixing a knob, offering to teach us to thread and use it, including an extra needle, and fixing other small details for free that he certainly wasn't obligated to do. He's an awesome guy and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Machine hadn’t been touched for 30 years and Dr. Willy was able to get it up and running in no time. He also took the time to show me how to use it, brought it out to the car for me and gave me needles and thread to get me started. Dr. Willy has a passion for repairing sewing machines and it shows through his work. Price is more than reasonable considering how much time and consideration he puts into each machine. Highly recommend.

Deepa Nirmal: I don't sew but I stop by TYG often to buy buttons for my knitted sweaters. They have a great selection and extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. One of these days I will find time to learn to sew, and take advantage of their gorgeous selection of fabrics. Oh, and they have unique things like rolls of oilcloth! I bought some for a patio table and it's fantastic because you can just wipe it clean. They stock it in a variety of fun summer prints.Please support local stores. Not only does this keep your $$ in the community, you simply cannot get this kind of expert advice or attention from a big box store or Amazon.
