Geoff Maciejewski: West Photo is one remaining gem in the Twin Cities. They sell quality products to fit every budget. The employees are knowledgable and never pressure you into buying. It can be tempting to buy or rent from large scale online retailers but West Photo will give you competitive pricing.I had an enjoyable time recently trading up into the mirrorless category. Steve Garbe: You don't have to be a major production company to get exceptional service from the team at Cinequipt. I routinely tell Chris or Mitch in rentals what my current challenge is, and they present solutions that fit my budget and crew size. In 20 years I have never had an issue with rented equipment, a missing piece or something not being available when they said it would be. If I have a last-minute request, everyone in the building jumps in to find a solution. Mitch in service is also routinely amazing. Once I brought him a light with a broken power switch where the routine repair was to replace the entire board for hundreds of dollars. Mitch had already sourced just the power switch from the original switch manufacturer, and soldered in on in 24 hours, for $50. When I visit other cities, it's hard to understand how they survive without a place like Cinequipt.

Nicole Crittenden: The staff at this location are amazing, I had a pawn there and when I wanted to pick my pawn up, the COVID quarantine hit, even though they were closed for two weeks and opened back up, the owner was so nice that not only did he not charge me any additional interest during the closure and an additional two weeks they were open that I did not know they were open for, but he gave me a discounted price and over 150.00 off of what I should have paid. The owner made a lot of accommodations for me and I am extremely grateful!
PRINCE: I bought a couple of laptops that they had on sale. That was the best deal I ever had in a pawn shop and I want to say that Carlos who is one of their employee, is awesome. Thanks guys because of you, my school will have some laptops

David J: . Not much of a going out of business sale...But after sleeping on it overnight, I went back the next afternoon to make the purchase. To my dismay, they had sold it earlier that morning.Now, i was slightly devastated. I know, it's only a leaf blower, but I fell in love. I immediately starting searching the internet for another one that would fill that void in my life. To my surprise, Uptown Pawn had just listed one about 4 hours earlier. I called the store and spoke with the owner. He made me an unbelievable deal. I drove straight to Uptown Pawn and brought it home. My hope is that this added addition to my small engine toys will last another 10 years. Based on the service and quality you will find at Uptown Pawn, I don't have a doubt that it will. Conor Daly: The folks over at National Camera in my experience have been very helpful and supportive as I learn more about 35mm photography. I was attempting to restore my parents’ old Pentax ME Super and after determining it wasn’t salvageable, they helped me find an identical body and got me set up with my first couple rolls of film. When I was having film loading issues, they guided me through what I was doing wrong and how to avoid issues in the future. Can’t thank them enough, very knowledgeable and patient staff. Will return to them in the future.

Regina Phalange: I've been following Hidden Treasures on facebook since I donated some items a couple years ago. After seeing a FB post for 50% off all media I decided I needed finally check out the store. I found $1.99 DVD and an un-priced, unopened season 5 set of ELR. I asked an associate how much she thought it was? She said if the dvd was $1.99 this would probably be $3.99. Bonus! The $1.99 was a 90% off red tag instead of the 50$ off media! "Tell the cashier Michelle said it's $3.99". So for $2.38 out the door I got a used DVD, a brand new set of dvd's!! Coupled w friendly and helpful service! My cashier also gave me a Fequent Shopper card & signed me up for their emails & such. I didn't shop around to see what was 90% off as I figured a lot of items I don't need would have come home with me because... well it's ONLY... ha. Thanks Hidden Treasures..... you stood by your name on my inaugural visit! Looking forward to future treasure hunting! Cheers.

Frederick The Planespotter: Polite and friendly staff with a good rotating selection of stuff ranging from furniture, clothing, toys, games, electronics, books, to even records and cd's. It even has a power strip available to customers to test electronic products. Parking is usually accessible near the establishment. Sometimes can be a little dirty though.
Google User: I have been coming to Hidden Treasures for over 10 years now. When I first started coming here they were lesser known and now they have become quite popular! I always donate here rather than Goodwill and feel good about it. During the Holidays, their Christmas selection is amazing!! and the prices are reasonable! I recommend this thrift store to all my friends.

D Kingston: This is one of the hidden gems 8n Minneapolis ' thrifting. Unassuming, based on the neighborhood and exterior, but this place has the best deals. Really nice staff. Always something new. Don't forget to check out the back room, past the books! There are always tidbits of glory dispersed amongst the merch back there. Plus, Tuesday and Wednesday they have $1 day and 50% off day on certain tag colors. Also, they have a dollar rack all the time in the store. They close early, though! 5pm, I think. Go early and find your next treasure. The off shoulder dress pictured was half priced at 3.50!
