MacPhail Center For Music: what do users think?

Christine Swenning: Attending music matters luncheon with family

Mischa Ortega May: I have had piano here for 9 years and the atmosphere and teachers are all super nice.

Arianna Xu: Ive been going here for 8+ years it has been pretty good

Alyssa Joye: My experience with MacPhail was nothing but amazing. My voice teacher, Thomas Speckhard was the best. I had to pause my voice lessons because of school, but I hope to return again once my schedule is more manageable. I learned so much about voice and singing from teacher Tom, and I appreciate his approach for an aspiring-frustrated singer like myself. Lol. He is the best! Thank you, MacPhail.

Debbie Willoughby: Today my granddaughter won a panio. A true blessing for us. We met the people who donated the piano such a blessing. My granddaughter was able to play for them.A bless day.A beautiful school. Thank you to the staff.

IPR - College of Creative Arts: what do users think?

Dakota Orf: I love it here. It's home to me. Easily the best decision of my life.

Lit Studios: i was greeted by a friendly admission advisor, i sat in some classes, and truly felt like a student. This is definitely the place to go to if you're looking for a career in the Creative Arts industry. Dedicated experienced staff, overall a nice community of staff and students.

Ryan B.: , but IPR was BY FAR the best. Other schools like the Art Institutes only have like one recording studio and IPR has floors full of them.Because it's a private school, IPR is more expensive, but totally worth it... ie: unlimited studio-time with professional equipment, instructors who have produced multiple platinum and grammy-winning albums, and a campus just blocks away from some of the most influential venues in the city. Don't waste your TIME and MONEY at a b-list music school when you could go to one of the best in the nation.

Minnesota School Of Music: what do users think?

Tyler Stanley: My kids are officially rock stars. MN School of Music is a top-notch program that is invaluable to the community. My daughter was 7 when she started learning the drums with Mr. Martin over a year ago, and we are looking forward to her playing Gold Lion by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs for her first recital. I was so impressed with the staff that I started my son on the guitar with Mr. Nelson. Now, both my kids play Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes at home. As a professional teacher, I saw my kids struggle with school after the pandemic. After enrolling them with MNSOM, I have seen tremendous growth in confidence toward their school work and sense of creativity. Thank you, Eric, for what you have built.

Jennifer Zafke: We have been attending Minnesota School of Music for a month now, from a recommendation from a friend whose kids attend there as well. I am highly impressed at the level of patience shown, the positive praise, and meeting each kid where they are at. My kids have learned so much in a short time and it’s definitely sparked their love of music! Thanks Eric for all you do!

Laura Christopher: My daughter has been coming to Mn school of Music for about 6 months and we love it. She is 14 and her teacher is fabulous. When we had a concern, the owner Eric addressed it personally and very quickly and everything was taken care of and back to excellence immediately. Highly recommended!

Clara Lai: Very nice school and teachers with great experience

Alyssa Westholter: to learn to play an instrument!

Felix Zamora: Always a great experience

Alyssa Boswell: My 15 year old has been taking guitar lessons here for four months. He is being challenged musically and is having a lot of fun learning new music and styles. He has participated in two recitals. This music school is well-run, organized, friendly, and has high expectations for their students.

Amberly Fuller: My 7 year old daughter leaves piano lessons each week with a big smile on her face! She looks forward to learn with Ms Brittany and overall has had great experience.

Roxanne Brennan: Awesome staff. Very kind and friendly. They really care

Sametta Togba-Scott: Friendly and knowledgeable staff! My daughter is taking voice lessons here and I'm very impressed with her progress!

I strongly recommend Minnesota School of Music to anyone looking for lessons.

Ideal Music Lessons: what do users think?

Sara Wood: My son took pianos lessons at Ideal and it was a wonderful experience. His piano teacher was kind, patient, and skilled! The fees are straight forward and more affordable than other places we checked. My son was not too stoked about taking lessons until he had his first lesson. From there, he couldn’t wait for piano lessons every week.

Julia Balestriere: Such a wonderful company that cares for the students and it’s workers. Worked with David whom is a great music writer and such a wonderful teacher. Would recommend this company to anyone wanting to learn music!

Eric Elgin: Definitely the best musical instructor I've ever had! I worked with Mike for 2 years and would recommend him to people of all ages and abilities. I am a novice adult guitar player and I will certainly be seeking him out to work with my kids in the future. He is great with communication, organization and balancing some theory with songs students want to learn.

Kelly S: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWe've take piano lessons virtually with both Mike and Justin and my sons have really enjoyed them and progressed in their skills.

dinagrin1: My kids have had music lessons with Mike for almost 7 years now. In fact, we moved cross country 3 years ago, and my kids still have their lessons with Mike. That is how fantastic of a music teacher Mike Sallow is; my children can't imagine working with anyone else. My kids were way past typical beginner guitar and bass methods very quickly after starting with Mike, so he developed his own, flexible methodology with them. All these years later, he still keeps them engaged and challenged, and they look forward to their lessons every week. From young child to teen, in person or online, Mike is simply the best music teacher a parent can hope for.

burkhard tiessen: Mike has been teaching our 12 year old for about 18 months now.Mike is patient.Mike is positiveMike is open minded to my sons wishesMike can create a note sheet by listening to a song.Since Mike plays multiple instruments, he “gets” it and can improvise.Mike is easy to work with, pleasant and just a nice guy.Lastly, he is local, running his own business.

Renee Lawrenz: Mike is an amazing music teacher. We have used him with both of my sons to teach guitar, drums and bass guitar. He has a very professional but fun and easygoing style that the kids reakly relate to. He makes sure that he teaches what his students want to learn to keep them engaged. He is reliable, punctual, extremely trustworthy, fair and easy to deal with. We always have felt extremely blessed to have been able to hire Mike. It is rare to find such a high caliber of musician and teacher.

Jennifer Boyko: My son has taken electric guitar lessons with Mike for about 2 years now. Mike is an amazing teacher. He is patience and caring. Mike used fun music to engage his students. My son loves his lessons and has learned a ton.

Taylored Adventures: Mike is a great and accommodating teacher. Love that he will come to your house for lessons and will work with your schedule. Liked that he would teach you any song you want to play and is very patient. I highly recommend him.

R Carlson: Wonderful service, comes to your home for the lessons. My grandson enjoys Mike and wanted lessons this Summer after starting with Mike in the Spring. That was a first and its because Aidan says he looks forward to learning more and has fun.

The Music Lab: what do users think?

Aaron Ziegler: Great local music school providing lessons in virtually any instrument and for all ages. Very reasonably priced. Very happy they are in the neighborhood!

David Daily: I've been taking piano lessons with Josie Just at the Music Lab for a few months now and I couldn't be happier. As someone who is hoping to learn to play the piano later in life, I greatly appreciate Josie's style of teaching. She is patient, comforting, easy to communicate with and extremely knowledgable. I look forward to my lessons each week and I'm getting ready for my first "concert," which consists of playing holiday music for my family this year. Highly recommended! Be sure to reach out to Josie directly with any questions -- she is the owner/operator of the Music Lab and can help align you with the appropriate teacher for your preferred instrument and goals.

andrea eastman: Great space, awesome people!

Andrew Tjomsland: Excellent music classes!

Dave Hoenack: Highly recommended!

Laura Hoenack: The Music Lab is wonderful! Both of my children have taken lessons, the teaching staff is superb.
