Richfield residents who have a documented financial need for assistance can apply for the Passport program. You must submit a new application every calendar year. Complete the application and submit it to Richfield Recreation staff at the Community Center (7000 Nicollet Ave). Once approved and in the system, your discount will be automatically applied for your pool pass.

The Richfield Outdoor Pool features a zero-depth-entry children's wading pool with water play equipment, a 50-meter main pool (built in 1961) with wheelchair access ramp, double waterslide, one-meter diving board, water volleyball and two 25-yard lap lanes. The concession stand has a wide variety of food and beverages and features a sit-down area with umbrella-covered tables. The bathhouse was rebuilt in 2006.

Como Regional Park Pool will be open only for morning lap swim and water aerobics August 28 through September 1. We will not have open swim during this time. We are fully closed for the season starting September 2. Highland Park Aquatic Center and Phalen Beach are open regular hours for the remainder of the season.

Como Regional Park Pool features a lazy river, aquatic climbing wall, children's pool, six-lane lap pool, slides, diving platforms and more.

Tot Time is a time just for kids ages 6 and under and the adults that love them! This designated time for our youngest swimmers takes place on Sundays from 9:30am - 11am. Only the splash pad will be open for Tot Time swimming. Cost is $4 per child and $4 for the accompanying adult.

Saint Paul Parks and Recreation will begin taking requests for group reservations at Como Regional Park Pool and Highland Park Aquatic Center on June 5, 2023. Please review the following guidelines for group reservations:

Advance group reservations will only be accepted if the requested reservation meets facility capacity projections for the requested date(s).

Reservations requests will only be accepted a maximum of one week in advance.

Payment must be made in full at the time of the reservation. Note: no refunds will be issued for unused reservations unless it is the result of a weather or facility related closure.

These updated policies are in response to record demand and usage of our aquatic facilities, balancing the equitable usage of public infrastructure, and ensuring that payment for services is collected.

4worldlovers: The Bark in the Park dog park grand opening event is Wednesday, Sept. 13 from 5 - 7 p.m. The new park is at the northwest corner of Bassett Creek Park at 32nd Ave. N. and Brunswisk Ave., 6029 32nd Ave. N. The new park is larger with separate areas for small and large dogs. It includes plenty of shade, paved trails and expanded parking.

Families are invited to see vehicles that come and go thorough their neighborhood for free on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 10 a.m. - noon. The event includes a wide variety of trucks and car displays and great photo opportuities at the Crystal Community Center.
