terry jaffoni: . From arrival to discharge, the experience was very positive, professional and caring. Dr. Robert Tuttle was my surgeon, and I can't say enough good things about him. He was thorough in his initial consultation, saw me again in his office prior to surgery to ensure I had read all the material and answered any questions. The Allina book about hip replacement was well written and an excellent resource before, during and after my surgery. Admissions at the hospital went smoothly, all staff was especially caring and also fun, which put me at ease. In particular, I want to recognize my nurse Stacy, who was part of the care team on the 7th floor. She was absolutely excellent, reassuring, caring and fun. I am so appreciative of all the providers at Abbott as the job they do is hard and not without risk. We are lucky here in Minnesota to have such a great hospital and talented professionals to provide us care!

Linda Neilsen: I walked in feeling light headed. They took details of who I am, took my blood pressure, and some blood work and I think something else all right away. Then there was going to be a several hour wait. I waited for about 45 minutes and felt significantly better. So they took the stint out of my arm and I left. They were all very nice and kind. Each nurse and or technician and or staff member was attentive and pleasant.

Sheryl Turner: I took a nasty fall with a ladder while taking down Christmas lights - LAST strand. After urgent care at TCO had determined my hip was fractured, I was taken to the the hospital and had surgery the next day - painful!! Not only did I benefit from a skilled surgeon but was taken care of by the most caring and capable staff you can imagine. I was surrounded by angels. I was fortunate enough to have a private room in the newly remodeled wing. Comfortable bed, attentive nurses and good food. If a person has to be hospitalized, definitely the place to be !!

G. Beaudry: Had my carotid arteries looked at in 2017 and the gal did the test with a necklace, that I had on, and I said I don’t think that’s how the test is supposed to be done, with jewelry on, and the probe going over the top of my necklace, because of artifacts may show up ? She said that rest assured it’s fine but I’ve been told that they are not supposed to do that testing with my necklace on per some one else that did the same type of work in that field at the time, and they would not offer a redo of the test for me at Methodist hospital per my request. They affirmed with the new machine that they had, is fine it and it won’t effect it at all, but that they are really supposed to have know jewelry on because they really do have people remove the jewelry. I think they should redo it, they made me pay without redoing it. I felt stressed out dissatisfied, disappointed, emotionally was drained over it, and found a different hospital to do my future testing. Since they would not accommodate me and I’m the dissatisfied customer with the complaint to redo or not pay but have to pay the bill my experience otherwise was always excellent there.
