slowmaro 1986: 5 stars for the people at this store, 1 star for corporate. Thank you Brad and Jackie for the extra work for me! The GameStop online ordering system needs to be fixed. The staff here helped me a lot. I ordered an online exclusive deal for pickup, one of the items was marked cancelled because it wasn't in stock which negated the deal. When I went in to pick it up, I had to cancel the entire order and redo it which was another hour wait. Jackie the district manager happened to be there helping and cancelled my order for me. Well it turns out because of how their online system works, it showed cancelled in their store's system but not online that I found out later after seeing double charges. I went back in where Brad spent a good half hour on his system and on the phone where even their call desk didn't have any ability to cancel out or return the order. Their system is supposed to automatically cancel and return anything not picked up after 7 days so we waited, still no change but I gave it a few more days and 12-13 days after the order was originally cancelled it finally cancelled itself out and refunded my money. This was quite a chunk of money to have tied up especially at Christmas time ***Corporate needs to fix this issue, 1- accounts should NEVER be charged until orders are PICKED UP. I have never been charged before receipt of an order at any other business anywhere, EVER. 2- your system should not be locked to your employees, especially upper management, to be able to fix problems. We don't need another Amazon company that is run by robots with no people to fix anything outside of the most common issues.

Nicole Crittenden: The staff at this location are amazing, I had a pawn there and when I wanted to pick my pawn up, the COVID quarantine hit, even though they were closed for two weeks and opened back up, the owner was so nice that not only did he not charge me any additional interest during the closure and an additional two weeks they were open that I did not know they were open for, but he gave me a discounted price and over 150.00 off of what I should have paid. The owner made a lot of accommodations for me and I am extremely grateful!
PRINCE: I bought a couple of laptops that they had on sale. That was the best deal I ever had in a pawn shop and I want to say that Carlos who is one of their employee, is awesome. Thanks guys because of you, my school will have some laptops

David J: . Not much of a going out of business sale...But after sleeping on it overnight, I went back the next afternoon to make the purchase. To my dismay, they had sold it earlier that morning.Now, i was slightly devastated. I know, it's only a leaf blower, but I fell in love. I immediately starting searching the internet for another one that would fill that void in my life. To my surprise, Uptown Pawn had just listed one about 4 hours earlier. I called the store and spoke with the owner. He made me an unbelievable deal. I drove straight to Uptown Pawn and brought it home. My hope is that this added addition to my small engine toys will last another 10 years. Based on the service and quality you will find at Uptown Pawn, I don't have a doubt that it will. Steven Moua: The store somewhat seems like it may be a bit understaffed in some departments. We had to wait roughly ~15 to ~25 minutes for help on purchasing a new washer/dryer. Aside from that, as the youngsters would say, "it fire."
