Marsden Archery Range: what do users think?

Barry Widell: Great place to practice your archery skills. Rules are posted just outside the entrance to the range.

Tom Lawer: Sweet little range with several single lanes, so you don’t have to deal with shooting next to a bunch of other people.

Liz Kray: Great free archery range. Has multiple setups at various ranges. Looks like they just replaced the hay bales.

Matt Dees: Nice outdoor range. Quite a few lanes of varying distances, separated by trees . It's like having a private range if you go down the sides.

Taft Miller: Good archery range lot of yardages there is already targets there with no paper target just bring a paper target to practice

Brent Wold: Quiet place friendly archers

Ryan Strong: Great place, lost two arrows today though. Blue and white fletched fleetwood 500. One of them went in to the military compound for sure.

Aleshia Betcher: Absolutely love this place

Jesse Jacobsen: Great place that's set up well. My son's and I really enjoy practicing here, and it's free. Beware the overshot arrows being lost in the military compound.

Deborah Tafil: Nice enough outdoor Archery range. Even though the lanes are tucked between rows of trees and bushes, I kind of wish that they had some covered areas for the really hot days though.

Rachel Welsch: This is pretty unique to have an open archery range in the neighborhood. It is off of a busy road but never too hard to get in or out.

Bloomington Archery Range: what do users think?

R M: designating the distance. I believe the ranges offered go from 30 to 80 yards. The one downside of this new setup is that if someone is shooting at the 45 yard target and you want to use it you have to wait until they're done with it. Most lanes are double, which means this doesn't happen much. Its a quiet place that isn't too busy. Weekends are the busiest time but most people don't show up before 10. I think the reason for that is that the range faces east, meaning you get plenty of sun in your eyes until 10-10:30.It's a flat field near a lake, so it's not unusual to find the grass wet or areas of mud. Don't wear nice shoes there. If it's mosquito season, be advised that they are ruthless and the competition for your precious fluids is steep.I'd like to know what causes the visitor spike from 12-3 AM. I often saw patrol cars loitering by the entrance during my daytime visits; if I had to guess the cause that would be my guess.

Jenna Anderson: Tons of targets of just about every distance you could want between 10 yards and 70 yards! Lots of tables with benches right by the shooting line where you can sit with people and/or put all your stuff. The grass is well-kept so finding arrows is pretty easy. And unless you're trying to shoot the 60/70 yard targets, the line of trees at the back is far enough away it shouldn't be an issue if you end up missing. And on top of all of that, it's completely free! The place is also very beginner friendly in that there are signs posted with the rules/etiquette so you don't have to guess what is or isn't ok, there are a ton of 10/20 yard targets, and the people I've run into there were super friendly and helpful if I had any questions.

Rashanda Williamson: Love this place

Derek Smith: Free archery range with targets from 20 to 70 yards. 19 lanes/targets. Most targets are in pretty good shape.

Andrei Petrov: A great place for shooters of various levels. The ability to lose the arrow does not give the opportunity to miss.

Matt Muhlenkort: It's a little hard to see the turn into here so signal early on so you don't get rear-ended.

Walter Kaluza: Well maintained free range

B: Beautiful view. Good place for archery

Rachel V (Scratchel): Open and FREE. If it's cold out the hay targets will be frozen and sucks to get arrows out of so bring your own target during the winter months.

Adam Jon Gillard: Awesome place for archery

Czar Kola: Targets are maintained semi regularly

Brian Hanson: This is an outdoor archery range off of France Avenue it has easy access to get in and out of if you want to teach little kids how to shoot bow and arrows this is a good place to start out. It's usually not crowded which is a bonus.

Schaffer Performance Archery: what do users think?

Conrad Nagele: The customer service is amazing here.

Josh Haberman: . I also purchased a Mathews Misson for my son. A week later we went back so my son bow could be tuned to him. We added the schaffer rest to his bow as well. John and his team got my sons bow all set up for him. John helped teach my son how to shoot as it was my sons first time shooting. John had alot of patience with my son and helped him out alot. John even pulled out a left handed womens bow out for my wife to shoot. She had alot of fun. We will definitely be getting her a bow setup from them in the near future. After we left my son said he wants to go back again and shoot. We will definitely be going back and supporting Schaffer Performance Archery. With how the staff recommends things and not pushy on what you get we will definitely be doing all of our archery shopping here.

Steve Prekker: Great place, very knowledgeable and professional !!

Emily F: Was recommended here by a friend. I got my first bow as a Christmas present off ebay and granted it was a cheep one hahaha! They had no jugdement and still have been extremely helpful. They did all the set up and had it ready by the following day. Helped me learn to shoot and was a stress free time. Not pushy at all! My husband ended up buying a bow that day and helped him as well. 100% recommend they are very friendly!!

Riley Rasmussen: Came in to visit the shop after hearing good things from other bowhunters. John did not disappoint. What a friendly guy and willing to help out. John set me up with his own Schaffer Performance Archery XV rest and its fantastic. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks again, John.

David Alberg: Best Archery store to go to. I purchased a bow from Schaffer Archery 12 years ago. Owner John Schaffer personally setup the Mathews bow for me. Sense that time, I have visited the store many times. Each and every time, John or one of his employees took time to listen and service my needs.I have been in the retail, manufacturing and service industry for many years and I can assure you, Shaffers Archery is the place to go for quality products, service and knowledgeable advice on archery products. "I even got a personal shooting lesson from John a few years ago when I was struggling with my shooting form"!!

Ed Lund: Jason and the rest of the Schaffer Archery Staff are top notch! They know their stuff, take pride in their work and are extremely efficient in their service work. I purchased my bow/rest/sight/arrows/etc from them a couple years ago and every time I go back, they are just as helpful as the first time. I was in today and even though they were busy, Jason made me feel like a priority and addressed each of my questions and got me where I needed to be with my bow even though there were multiple other customers he had to deal with in the shop. I have recommended this shop to numerous friends and do everything I can to not shop elsewhere. Thanks!

Lance Curtin: Was completely new to archery. Was getting bows for my 2 kids and i. Staff was so wonderful and helpful. Found us bows at reasonable prices and adjusted each for us individually. Highly recommend

Chuck Hale: Incredible assistance from very knowledgeable professionals. Happy with the experience.

Veronica Olson: They set up the husband's and my first ever hunting bows. We're happy to help us when we returned several times for small adjustments while we were getting used to archery. Always willing to provide advice and discuss pros and cons to different equipment and hubting techniques.

Paul Melnarik: Amazing! Went in and had them put a new Schaffer sight on my bow. This is the most accurate and easy to use sight that I have ever used by far! I actually enjoyed my visit and the owner really works in the shop and spent time teaching me and didn’t talk down to me like happens at most other archery shops. I’m a customer for life. Archery Country: what do users think?

sardond: Bow-shopping TriumphI recently had the pleasure of receiving outstanding service from Keith at Archery Country while in search of a new bow. It was a busy day at the store, yet Keith's attentiveness and customer-centric approach left a lasting impression on me.As I entered the store, I was immediately drawn to the vast selection of bows, but it was a busy Saturday at the store. Despite the crowd, Keith managed to acknowledge my presence with a friendly greeting and assured me that he would be with me shortly. This simple yet thoughtful gesture instantly set the tone for a positive shopping experience. This level of multitasking and genuine engagement is a testament to his exceptional customer service skills.Keith's knowledge of bows was evident as he patiently answered my questions, making the entire process not only informative but also enjoyable. In the end, it was Keith's personalized attention, even on a busy day, that convinced me to make the purchase even though I had thought about leaving and returning on a less busy day. His dedication to customer satisfaction transformed the transaction into a memorable shopping experience.Overall, I highly commend Keith and the entire team at Archery Country for their commitment to providing exceptional service. If you're in the market for archery equipment, look no further than this store, where the staff's expertise and customer-focused approach make for a truly remarkable shopping experience.

Pete Dieckman: Staff helped me make the switch from being a finger shooter to a release shooter. Showed patience and explained things very well. Thanks again to Keith.

Dustin steiner: Love coming here. Brought both my boys in 9 and 12 years old. I had dialed their new bows in the best I could but not perfect. We came for new arrows and a release. After cutting the arrows for us they fired a few arrows and they helped dial in their bows perfectly. We left with a smile and they had a blast all weekend target shooting and practicing! Thanks again!

Janelle Satt: Great customer service, insight and assistance from Cole getting set up with my first bow. He was very patient and understanding as I worked through all decisions that went into the purchase. Even managed a few great shots while getting things all sighted in!! I would highly recommend this shop.

Steve Helms: I had a wonderful experience!! Being from out of town going to a smaller business I never know how the locals are going to treat me but let me tell you, Wade and the rest of the staff are superstars in my opinion. I had recently purchased a bow from the “box store” right down the road and I left that store feeling unsure of the bow that I had just purchased not ever owning a raven crossbow before I had many unanswered questions. On the way back to the hotel I noticed Archery country and decided to stop by and have a look. I was greeted by Wade and right from the start I felt welcomed and valued as a customer and I hadn’t even purchased anything yet. So needless to say I returned my purchase from the other guys and made my purchase there. Wade explained everything about the bow to me. We sighted it in and it was a great time. The cost was even lower I mean much lower than the other guys. Plus I believe you can’t put a price on the kind of service and friendliness you receive with Wade and all of the staff.10 out of 10 I highly recommend. Great job guys keep it up.

gerald carlson: Very knowledgeable and helpful!! They helped my son get his now, and set it up for him! Very patient and very good at instructing! I wish I could’ve bought a now for myself now!

Jim Peterson: Today we took my son to get some parts for his first bow. I had heard from friends that archery country is great. The crew took time with my son got him all set up and gave him some pointers. My boy left with a smile so big he could not contain it. As we left he asked “can we come back tomorrow?”You made my day. Lit the fire in my sons heart for a lifetime of archery. There is no place else in my opinion that could ever compete with Archery Country. You took good care of my family and have made a customer for life.

Bradley Hanson: Went in to have several bows serviced, walked out with a few extras as well. We worked with Wade and a couple others, very knowledgable with any area of archery you shoot, things you might not even think about or forgot about. They wont let you leave until your/they are satisfied with the way the bow shoots. Extremely satisfied, true customer service.

Michael Martodam: Knowledgeable bowmen, they have it all

Jacob Poisson: Went here today with a wacky crossbow and the guy Keith I think it was, helped me out a ton. I’ve never used one he helped me trouble shoot it and showed me what I needed to know about it enough to where I’ll feel comfortable hunting with it. Super nice guys. Btw I got it working if you see this lol the c02 wasn’t tight enough!! Thanks guys!!

Billy Merkl: First time buying a bow and had a great time working with Keith. Took time walking thorough everything, sighted in the bow and took it to the range. Great experience will for sure be back, and I will HIGHLY recommend to my family and club friends. Thank you!

Nick Amunrud: . Bow is now shooting great. Save yourself the headache and buy your bow from here to start so you dont waste time and money. Great all around service.

Eric Stroh: Needed arrows before a pronghorn hunt but I moved recently. They mailed my arrows in plenty of time for my trip with a new type of lighted nock I look forward to trying out!

Jon Langerud: These guys are pros. I've shot 10 bucks because of them. Just kidding... but seriously, they are pros!.

Joseph Blaker: Super knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonably priced.

Justin kampa: Great group of guys who know there stuff about archery

mike kerfeld: This staff is very knowledgeable about archery and super patient with customers. Fantastic customer service and my go-to store.

Columbia Park: what do users think?

Jill Barrette: A lovely park with a lot to offer. On the south side of the park there is a nice public archery range, off leash dog park, and golf learning center with driving range to accompany the larger golf course within the park. From the north side there is a spacious picnic area with a variety of activity spaces from a large playground, swings, a full size football field with bleachers, a sand area that can be equipped with a volleyball net, several grills, and numerous built in cement picnic benches for a variety of group sizes. The tennis area is in rough shape, and I’m not sure if it is still maintained with the intent to play tennis. There are two separate parking areas for the picnic area, another by the driving range and dog park, and about three parking spaces near the archery range. There are great, well-marked, walking and biking trails around the park, as well as a great view of the Minneapolis skyline from the northern parkway.

Catherine B Dickson: Nice trail

Heidi Zaworski: Always a favorite! View is beautiful. Children's playground near, tennis courts, and lacrosse field.Nice for group gatherings. Has electric, water and lighting as well as restrooms.

Joshua Knieff: Very big park with wonderful accomodations!
