Regularly scheduled interactions between the skilled nursing residents and the children is uniquely priceless and valued by both generations.

Chapman and his wife Hope to begin a home where elderly and medically-challenged adults could be cared for in a setting which would also provide for their spiritual needs. Rev. Chapman’s desire was to make available a place where adults could experience “the finest care in the happiest physical and spiritual surroundings.” Their vision was born in the belief that God would provide every need as they moved forward.
The home opened October 1, 1946, with room for 18 residents and staffed by three employees. Today, Redeemer Health Care Center stands as a tribute to their vision and to God, who provides for those in need.

My mom has stayed here for respite care and is always treated like family. The staff make the process of dropping her off seamless and I am able to leave stress free, knowing she'll be well cared for. The cleanliness of my mom’s room and the facility is A+. If you are looking for a place where you can trust the staff with your loved one’s care, Redeemer Health and Rehab is definitely the place!

Duane Whitfield: September 20, 2021My name is Duane and I am writing this review as a recommendation for Redeemer Health and Rehab on 31st and Lyndale Ave. S. I also want to personally thank the Redeemer team for taking care of my Brother while he was a resident there in your facility.My brother Demetrius was a resident there in August 2021 for approximately 3 weeks before he died from lung cancer. During that time, I visited him almost daily and intentionally at different times so I could get familiar with the staff and service provided by Redeemer.I can honestly tell you without reservation that this facility is top notch and has caring medical professionals employed there. My brother was treated with gentleness and care that I never witnessed before in the healthcare profession. For example, he was always clean, and always had food and water available. He wasn't man handled or jerked around. His room always smelled clean and stocked with towels, blankets, soap and other essentials.The staff members were always very attentive to our requests and the needs of my brother. One employee in particular went above the call of duty in demonstrating professionalism and care for my brother. It was obvious to my entire family that Mr. Stephen Mrutu was passionate about his work and showed it daily. He exemplified the kind of nursing care that we need and deserve for our love ones during their final days.Thank you, Redeemer, and especially Mr. Mrutu.

Shawn Bolte: This place is AMAZING!! My husband has FND with severe drop attacks that have taken a toll on his body. I have never went with him yet but he works with the aquatics team and loves every one he has seen. He was able to start independent aquatics after his regular PT later and it was the best thing for him. He said at least all he drank was a mouthful of water but didn’t get a head injury and staff always watch him and make sure he is safe. He just had major back surgery with his two bottom vertebraes fused and once released to PT he can go back to pool PT with one of the wonderful caring therapists and once he is done with that we will pay out of pocket for him to use their pull for independent PT. Our insurance covers the PT with the therapists but won’t for independent. We don’t care we will pay it and he drives from Farmington to this site at least 3 days a week.

Melodye Meyers: I love going to Courage Kenney! I go at least 3 times a week for the Aquatics Exercises. The whirlpool jets feel so good on my back. You enter into a different world once you get into the warm water. They have everything you need in the pool. So many different floating apparatuses.

Larry Grell: I find Courage Kenneth Golden Valley to be an excellent facility with excellent kind caring employees. Been here for various forms of PT and use the gym and pool on a regular basis. My only negative comment would be the mens locker room is small

Michele DeFazio: I have yet to meet, and/or work with any Therapist, or staff member who was not respectful. These negative reviews do not reflect how it actually is at CKRI., In my opinion. I've met quite a few very kind individuals in the short time I've been going there for stroke rehab. I have 100% faith, and trust in that Team!!
Bob Fried: This is the second time I've gotten therapy at Courage Center. The first was in 2008 for two years to help recover from a severe brain injury. This time was for 2 months to prepare for knee replacement surgery and to continue with balance issues left over from the previous TBI. So, I've had contact with a considerable variety of equipment, docs and therapists. Since Allina has purchased Courage/Kenny there have been significant improvements to the facility, especially the fitness center. Because my therapists were almost universally excellent last time, I was worried that the new Allina crew would not be as good. Those worries were unfounded. Both Abby and Kelsie were stars. Administration seems to have improved as well. When I was discussing physical therapy with one of my non-CK docs I told him that I was signing up at Courage/Kenny. He said that, if I could get in, they were the gold standard. He repeated that twice. I have highly recommended CKRI and would do so again given the opportunity.

Anne Ryan-Fricke: I ended up in the Acute Rehab Center after emergency spine surgery, and spent 5 weeks in the ARC. The staff are all very caring and motivating, which is needed during an extended stay here.The physical and occupational therapists I worked with pushed me hard, challenged me, and kept me motivated in relearning how to walk. I know that my recovery has been so successful due to the amazing staff.

S Chang: In our personal experience, we had great help and service from the staff members and extremely nice.Nurses are attentive and constantly checking at the times promised. OT/PT/ST were incredibly helpful and encouraging to allow patience to regain their independence.Front door is always monitored by security cameras and are closed after certain hours, but can be accessed with permission. Family members are allowed to stay and have comfortable sleeping chair that turns into a twin bed. There is a refrigerator you can leave food in with name tags. Patience are allowed to walk the perimeter with supervision of family members/friends. Therapy is approximately 3 - 4 hours a day. Patiences shower once a week on a certain day scheduled with supervision. There are many positive things about this rehab center, do not let it discourage you from coming here. There is parking ramp that could cost some money, parking meters right in front of the entrance or some free parking around the area. All of the homes by the hospital requires a parking permit or else you will be towed.Everyone's experience is a bit different, but I can reassure you we had nothing, but good things to say about this place and feel very lucky to have my sister admitted to this rehab center.
CST Thiewes: This staff and facility have a tough job! They received my mom after her stroke while her condition was somewhat unstable. She couldn’t assist in her family-assist transport, we did, to get her there.The PT, OT, SL were outstanding. It is a different kinda of set up. They want the patients to gain their independence back. It isn’t easy but they want the best for you and give you the best from themselves.The food isn’t the best. Food from home is difficult to facilitate to the patient but they try to help you accomplish all of your goals.They are a remarkable set of people. Thank you!

Stephanie Taylor: I have just begun my journey with Good Samaritan but so far I have been impressed with their professional demeanor, friendliness, kindness and care and attention to my family. Nighttime staff is truly the rest for any hospital or care facility as far as I am concerned because doctors and administration is nowhere to be found. Those on duty have only their integrity to guide them and a night time supervisor. It's hard for most places to get good staffing at night so expecting miracles from these places is not it. However, I was pleasantly surprised by GS's staffing last night. Small kindnesses add up for me. Helping my Dad out to the car after a visit, making sure his visit was pleasant in the first place. Giving me water when I needed it without me asking. I'll be meeting the day staff today so I'll keep you updated but so far I'm impressed.

Ethel Obard: Unfortunately I think theirs a lot of reasons for people to undergo rehabilitation or long term care and theirs not to many places with a home like setting and supportive staff even if it's a NAR, CNA, Nurse,LPN, or Nurse coordinator. Karin Newhouse: I cannot compliment and thank the team at TRIA enough. I suffered 2 broken ankle bones while on vacation. Upon my return I was able to get an appointment right away. Grant, at the St Louis Park location greeted me with a smile and was incredibly thorough explaining everything. Dr. Wasserman was so kind, I immediately felt at ease in her care. Everyone at the surgery center was 10 out of 10!! They even went the extra mile and shipped me a bag of TRIA swag a week after surgery. It was easy to get in touch with nurses, scheduling, etc. I really felt like a patient, not a number. Highly recommend the experts at TRIA!
