He was very patient, and spent probably an hour answering all of our questions and letting us look at and handle all the different gear he showed us. Also, the store had a really nice selection of bodies, lenses and accessories. Sorry our bored four year old terrorized your store, but thank you for your help! Would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area!
Geoff Maciejewski: West Photo is one remaining gem in the Twin Cities. They sell quality products to fit every budget. The employees are knowledgable and never pressure you into buying. It can be tempting to buy or rent from large scale online retailers but West Photo will give you competitive pricing.I had an enjoyable time recently trading up into the mirrorless category. Conor Daly: The folks over at National Camera in my experience have been very helpful and supportive as I learn more about 35mm photography. I was attempting to restore my parents’ old Pentax ME Super and after determining it wasn’t salvageable, they helped me find an identical body and got me set up with my first couple rolls of film. When I was having film loading issues, they guided me through what I was doing wrong and how to avoid issues in the future. Can’t thank them enough, very knowledgeable and patient staff. Will return to them in the future.

I had purchased some artwork overseas and when I brought it home I it was a little damaged and I knew that I wouldn't be able to hang it using a cheap frame I found at a craft store. After a consultation with Caleb at CAFS he gave me some really great suggestions and allowed me to think about the look I was going for. I really appreciated his eye and attention to colors and styles. After making some choices I left feeling pretty good about the decisions made and looking forward to the finished product. I returned a little over a week later and was BLOWN AWAY by how awesome the work looked. The colors popped, frames were perfect, and the paintings looked better than what I imagined when I bought them. Bluntly honest, I was a little surprised by the price that I paid, but now that I've seen the work, IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Em: I could not recommend Studio 220 more. I hired Katrina for our engagement and wedding photos. They turned out so amazing, and she captured candid moments as well, which are some of my favorite pictures. Our wedding party is a mixed group of colored hair and tattoos, and we felt so comfortable with Katrina. She was able to highlight our love and appreciation to our friends and family. It meant the world.My husband's uncle, who he was very close to, died unexpectedly very shortly after attending our wedding. Katrina and Dana were quick to provide us with any raw photos of him for a funeral slideshow. It really meant the world to my husband and I that they searched through ALL of the photos looking for him. Studio220 really is above and beyond.

Jen Boyles: We met Sally at a bridal fair, and she was my favorite photography vendor there. Not only because the photographers at Studio 220 all shoot beautiful pictures but moreso because she took so much time to get to know us and what we were looking for. In about 10 minutes, she learned our style and was able to recommend four photographers with beautiful portfolios. We selected Jen, and she was incredible! We had to reschedule our engagement photos three times because of the weather, and she was so accommodating. She pushed us a little out of our comfort zone to get some beautiful pictures.When we had to postpone our date twice due to COVID, Jen and Dana in the office were so responsive and got us rescheduled easily.Working with Jen was a dream! She is so friendly and gave great direction for all the photos we needed to have taken. Our second shooter Gabi was also so amazing to work with. She complemented Jen so well, and everything went so well!Jen had timelines down so well, and we kept to her timeline perfectly until my ring mishap. I lost my grandmother’s ring during golden hour photos, so we took about 20 minutes to find it. It was in my hair the whole time. She and Gabi stopped photos to help me find it which I appreciated so much. During the ceremony, I knew Jen and Gabi were taking photos, but they did such a great job of blending into the background that I had no idea they were even there!Jen knew exactly which photos I wanted, and she got everything. I’m so excited to see how our photos turn out!

She did both our engagement session and wedding, which was a good choice because we really got to know one another. She was super personable and easy to work with. Our photos turned out great, too.I should also note that there are tons of photographers to choose from, each with their own style. This is a huge perk for couples like us who felt kind of overwhelmed by sifting through everything during wedding planning.

She made sure we were on time and wasn’t afraid to put the grooms men in their places when they got a little rowdy. She was positive the whole time and so friendly. Sorany Ka: Studio 220 quality and professionalism was beyond our expectations. We worked with Katrina and her assistant for our wedding day photos. They were there from the beginning to the end. They made sure they took pictures that we wanted and our portraits were perfect. If there were any impromptu pics we wanted they were more than happy to take them. We were beyond ecstatic when our pictures became available. They caught perfect moments during the wedding and when looking at the editing, it was top tier. We couldn't be any happier. We would definitely recommend!

Studio 220 was far and away the highest quality and most affordable photography studio I could find to photograph our August wedding. We were matched up with Tamika almost immediately. My husband and I were nervous about looking awkward in our pictures since we're not used to being professionally photographed, but Tamika was so good at making us feel comfortable and truly capturing our personalities!

Travis Anderson: What a fantastic discovery! This was the perfect space for a big corporate photo/video shoot last month. We had more than twenty people there and it never felt cramped or crowded. There's plenty of space to hang in the studio, huge kitchen, or conference room. Leah, our contact at the studio, couldn't have been better to work with. Extremely accommodating and an absolute pleasure to work with. This will be my first-call studio moving forward!

They walk you through everything with excellent communication.The photographer we got was amazing! She knew exactly how to get the best shots and angles of my wife and I for our Victorian era photos. We don't normally take good photos of ourselves, but this place captured us in the best way possible.We originally went in for a single 8x10 photo, but we loved all the photos so much, we splurged and bought the digital package, which includes all photos taken plus the rights to the pictures. We are extremely happy with our experience. Thank you for such beautiful pictures!

A more expensive place when compared to other framing locations but this is place is nothing less than exquisite. I will always go here!

I've used another place for film processing and wasn't really happy with the results, so I'm happy to have found Fast Foto. They will definitely be my go to.

I am a full-time photographer and film is a substantial part of my business. It is imperative to have the highest level of quality from my film development in order to serve my clients properly. That said, let the 18 months of reoccurring - several times a week/400+ rolls of film - business stand as why Fast Foto is the best option in the Twin Cities (and beyond as far as I am concerned.The turnaround time for color film cannot be beat. In addition to film development and printing they also do scanning, photo restoration, photo gifts and sell film. Anyone from amateur to professional should visit Fast Foto! They are LEGIT!

I had two rolls of film that needed to be developed and scanned and the price was actually cheaper than what I thought it would’ve been so I upgraded to a pro scan instead of basic for my film. They said it’d most likely be done tomorrow and I got the link with my pictures two hours after I dropped them off! Seriously recommend them!
Drew Barkman: SO FAST. Scans usually in within a day or two. In comparison, my friend dropped off film at Walgreens, charged him more for scans, and told him he would get them back somewhere between two weeks to a month!!! Don’t know a ton about film but their prices seem competitive for rolls and disposable cameras.
Devon Cox: Dropped six disposable cameras off at 2:30 p.m. on a Friday. Had the scans in my inbox by 5:00 p.m. that same day. Are you kidding me? "Fast" is no exaggeration with these kind and lovely folks. Do yourself a favor and skip Walgreens/CVS. Super reasonable prices, too.

Nicholas Comparato: This place charges an additional $15 per roll to develop and scan black and white film because they do the process by hand. I was not super thrilled about this; however, I cannot deny they did an incredible job. I got my color photos back amazingly fast and the b+w followed a few days later. Expensive, but very happy with the results.
Mia Deaven: Employees are super helpful and friendly, make it easy to get into film photography as a beginner. Fastest turnaround of developing film, scanning it, and sending photos that I’ve ever found in the cities–some days I get my scans back the SAME DAY I dropped off film! Would highly recommend to any amateur photographer that doesn’t want to bother with developing their own film.
