Rachael Tervo: Alex and the team at Minneapolis Decks far and above exceeded my expectations. Alex was patient as we had no idea how much of a ball park our project was going to cost, and once we were ready to start the project he was full steam ahead. He kept the project within scope, on time, and was not pushy to upsell us on details. As I had multiple companies quote out the project, Alex was the only one to speak to me directly without insinuating or directly asking if my husband needed to be part of our discussions, which I absolutely appreciated. He was meticulous and had a standard for his work that resonated through his project managers. Any time we had a question, thought, or concern, it was answered/corrected within 24 hours. As far as contractors go, it was a joy to work with them and bring this project to life.

Mark Rode: This company is great. Super responsive and great communicators. I had no less than a million questions and they answered every single one. They masterly installed boulders, a cool rock wall, and designed several garden bed plans. They really know their plants and what will work best in this environment/climate. Their guiding principle is to pack in the plants tightly to minimize weeds. It has been over a year now since we installed plants from their first design, and I must say that this has worked very, very well. It also looks fantastic. Jason then took those ideas and brought back a great design. What we loved is we made some of the decisions we wanted to make and he made the rest for us. We did not have specific plants and trees identified. They did it all for us. Lastly what surprised us was that they took many of our other perennials and moved them around creating a whole new experience. I would definitely recommend them and will work with them in the future.

Stuart Scheu: Our experience with Field Outdoor Spaces was 5-Star in every respect. We contracted them to repair and enhance the work we had done by another landscape company about five years ago. The designer listened carefully to make sure their plan matched what we envisioned, and she made good suggestions to resolve issues we had been having with the original design. Every person we dealt with from the designer to the installers was professional, helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The work was done in the time frame quoted, and the cost was clearly communicated. The project was completed this past spring, and this week we received a follow-up email to remind us about fall cleanup and winter prep specific to our plantings and water feature. That very day I was given an estimate for work I wanted done at my house. The day they arrived to do the work, I had to leave on a trip. It wasn't until I got home that I saw the work that had been done. And work it was! What an incredible job they did clearing my entire garden, which had been overrun by weeds and gratuitous growth. Tara Walker: We actually came across Field Outdoor Spaces in an interesting way .... while working with our landscape architect to design our new backyard, we searched pictures on Houzz for ideas. Our favorite was a custom rock wall picture we shared with our architect just to show what we were looking for - unknowingly that wall was done by Field Outdoor Spaces which just happened to be a neighbor to our architect. Long story short, we hired Field and they partnered seamlessly to deliver a beautifully redone, private "phase 1" of our backyard that met both our budget and project goals.Beyond just delivering on plan, they worked with us to refine and improve it! They were also professional and followed the project plan / timing they laid out perfectly - very uncommon in our experiences. We definitely recommend them and we will be using them as we move on to other phases of our project.

Their craftsmanship and attention to detail and their willingness to correct manufacturer defects and otherwise adapt details to accommodate our preferences were much appreciated. The crew worked well together, were pleasant to work with, and were very helpful and responsive to our questions and preferences. Our 34 year old wooden deck has been transformed into a new maintenance free outdoor space that we look forward to enjoying for years to come!

Which I really appreciated as I hate mess in the yard. When the rep and the city inspector came to look at the final projector their was a question about the removal of the old footings.
