Wild Sound Recording Studio: what do users think?

Alexander Dove Lempke: A beautiful space where instruments sound incredible, with all the conveniences you could want in a modern professional studio, including top-tier microphones and other gear. More importantly, Steve is a great engineer, attentive and passionate about making records. Wild Sound is a phenomenal place to record.

Teri Homan: Great place to record! Steve could not have been more kind, supportive, or relaxed. Fantastic experience!

Richard Casey: 👍

Chris Lee: I had written my wife a song that I wanted to record for Christmas. When I wrote it I had just written a few chords and some lyrics. I had an idea of what I wanted it to be....but not a direction. Josh was amazing. Not only is he an excellent producer....but his vision on how to shape my song was amazing. It couldn't of turned out any better. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to record for whatever reason.

James OBrien: Great to work with.

Dee Luogon: The young lady who we met was very nice and she and my daughter really work good together.

Todd Harper: I have been working with Steve for many years. It's superb ! The grand piano is prime: well- maintained., the rooms designed well with sightlines. Or, if you want to record everyone in the same room, that works too. Wild Sound has excellent equipment. Steve works with many genres of music, and he brings his experience to each session. For an intimate, pure, sound, this is the place to go.

Mark Chergosky: Steve is a great engineer and producer. I wish I could give him more than five stars. This studio is a great value. I won't be going anywhere else.

eddie ciletti: Great mix of analog and digital gear

Aaron Hedenstrom: Steve is an amazing engineer, great sounding space, impeccable collection of equipment.

Jon Carlson: We had a great experience here. The acoustics are great and Josh made my son at ease and talked us through the entire process. Would recommend Wild Sound to anyone.

Reuben L Correa: The staff was knowledgeable there equipment advanced, a d there studio was really quite nice and professional looking.

Geoffrey Fischbein: Where you go to do it right.

Alex Marschner: Recording at Wild Sound is a great experience. It is a nicely appointed space and easily handled our group of 16 vocalists. The space is amazingly flexible, with several isolation partitions. This is our second year recording there; the resulting CD last year was fantastic.

Anders Olson: This place is absolutely perfect for recording. The sound is great and the gear is just as solid.

Minnehaha Recording Company: what do users think?

Joseph Gotchnik: Pinnacle knowledge and personability. Can tell they love what they do and have the experience to back up any setup.

Midamerican Elevator Music: Tony at Minnehaha Recording Company has been fantastic to work with. Our band has worked with him on both a single and EP release. He is professional, friendly, has incredibly fast turn-around times, and has produced great masters for the band. Chicago industry friends have complemented our latest masters and we can't thank Tony enough.

BOOMbay Safire: Every stage of our project was handled with ease and professionalism by MRC. We made a plan, communication was steady and stable from booking, to recording, mixing, and mastering. Tony answered every one of my questions and in return asked great questions to make sure my end goal was met. Would I work with MRC again for future projects? - 100% yes.

echo-boy: - Bob

¡What!: If we were to include every reason why you should reach out to Minnehaha Recording Co., this would be paragraphs long. Absolutely outstanding people. Tony, the owner, is a true creative, and extremely knowledgeable about his craft, and the same goes for the rest of the engineers. Tracking, mixing, mastering...you name it, they do it, and they do it extremely well. We could not have been happier with our experience recording at MRC.

Ben B: Tony is an excellent engineer, who will work hard with you to make sure you and your songs sound their absolute best. Really great having a teammate in your corner with the skills and knowledge to draw out your best possible performance. Found a new home base for recording.

Joe Alfano: I play in a small Scandinavian ensemble called Tjärnblom. A musician friend recommended that we work with Tony at Minnehaha Recording Company to complete the mastering of our latest recording project. Tony was great to work with and patient with us as we sorted out endless licensing delays. Once everything came together on our end, the mastering process went smoothly -- we were thrilled with the results. His mastering expertise really enhanced our band's unique sound.

David McKinney: Minnehaha Recording Company provided us with a first class experience. The owner is highly responsive, super flexible, extremely creative and musically gifted. We’ve already booked several more sessions for my daughter, singer-songwriter Abigail Kris.

Jack Davis: I've had the opportunity to work in a number of recording studios in the Twin Cities as I work with musician clients often as a video shooter. Hands down I've felt the most welcome and had the most fun working at MRC. Tony and everyone who I've met that works there is super friendly, down to earth, un pretentious and most importantly, helpful. Because of that I even hired the studio for a half day last year to record part of a soundtrack with a live band. As a non-pro musician I was still taken seriously and treated with professionalism and the results are outstanding. Looking forward to the next time our paths cross.

Andrew TerEick: I’ve know Tony since he first recorded my high-school band, coming up on 10 years ago. He has always been a professional, knowledgeable, and reliable resource for the Twin Cities music community, and for myself as I’ve grown as an engineer. Cannot recommend enough!

Terrarium Recording Studios: what do users think?

Matthew Medley: Fantastic space. Really gets the vibe of a recording studio

Brandon Isabell: My first time ever being to a professional studio and it definitely makes me wonder why I have waited so long. The layout and lounge room speak for itself but the recording area was so grand that I wanted to make it my 2nd home. The engineer really is helpful and works with you diligently. Even gives feedback where appropriate. Price is fair at around $100/hr. I would not complain on the value of this hidden gem located perfectly in Northeast Minneapolis.

Rick Stack: I love the Terrarium! I’ve recorded a full album of my own music there, as well as some other projects with friends. Awesome atmosphere, fantastic sound quality, and great engineers to work with. Looking forward to getting back there soon!

Thomas Hansen: The owner was a very nice guy. Very knowledgeable.

34455543 4566533: I know the owner he’s cool great place

Melissa Rist: I cannot say enough about how wonderful August was. He was kind and extremely helpful. It was my first time in a recording studio and he made it so very easy. Kudos! And thank you.

Lakeith Bryant: I worked on my album here.

Salad Daze: , musicians....we had a good time working at The Terrarium. Feels great recording there. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Jeff Carlson: Wow! What an experience we had here! Such a well maintained studio which made for a seamless session. Jason Oris’s experience really shows through how he runs the studio. He couldn’t be a more professional owner and treated us wonderful through our time there. All the equipment and the entire studio is something to see in person. Highly rated. I’ll be back for more projects. Can’t wait to hear the tunes. Thanks so much Jason!

Angel Woods: LANCE THE GREAT!!!

Denise Drahos: Totally awesome

Caron Theis: Awesome being part of the recording process.

Kurt Theis: Music was awesome!!!

jimmy lyback: What can I say besides it being one of the most beautiful and functional recording studios in Minneapolis.

Twin Town Guitars: what do users think?

Jacob Zimmerman: Purchased an isntrument from them online. The pics were exactly of the instrument I purchased and not stock photos. Shipping was reasonable price and timing with accurate updates. Product was packaged well and the shop did a phenomenal job getting it ready to ship and plays better than I could have hoped. I hope to visit the physical location next month and thank you folks in person.

Mike Merwin: on a favorite guitar but I was hesitant to bring it in because it's not exactly a pro-level guitar and I am not exactly a studio player. I asked for advice on what strings I should try from the very kind and helpful staff and went with their suggestion. When I picked up the guitar, I could not believe the amount of work that was clearly done. The fretboard looked better than the day I bought the guitar and I could immediately tell as I strummed it that I had left it in the hands of a professional. Money well spent at a fantastic guitar shop.

Nathan Gentry: I called Twin Town from beautiful, sunny Florida and spoke with AJ. I was all like “the internet said you guys have a left handed Epiphone ES 335 in a vintage burst. Is that true?” And AJ was all like “I believe we do have one of those but let me go look. Do you mind if I put you on a brief hold?” And I was like, “of course not”. So I waited on hold briefly while AJ ran to check and make sure Twin Town did in fact have a left handed Epiphone ES 335 in a vintage burst. I was concerned AJ would come back and tell me that no such guitar existed in his store. But when he came back to the phone he was all like “I do have one of those in stock”, so I bought it. AJ and the gang shipped my guitar out FAST too. I didn’t have to wait weeks to express myself through the majesty of song on my new left handed Epiphone ES 335 in vintage burst. Needless to say, I couldn’t be any happier with Twin Town or AJ’s service.

richard traxler: Great shop, great teachers, well managed, fun place, better than the strip mall stores.

Robert Wicklander: Best guitar store I’ve ever been to. Cole was awesome in helping me get back into playing after a couple year break! Super knowledgeable and super nice. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This is where I’ll be going for anything guitar related. Thanks guys!

Josephine Morris: I got my first bass from Twin Town Guitars. I went in looking for a bass guitar, and was instantly greeted with friendly and informative staff. They have a pretty good collection, and you can pretty much find what you're looking for than if you went to a bigger store like Guitar Center. I love supporting local businesses, and this is one to definitely support!

Chris Dewar: Bought a lefty Taylor classical guitar from out of state that I couldn't find anywhere else. Haven't visited the store but had great experience and highly recommend!

Rich Rue: Great music store! 👍🎶

Kelly Cook: Great music resources

Alex Nelson: Love this store! Super helpful and welcoming. Love that they have two little "try out" rooms, where you can play guitars and pedals without worrying about bugging the people around you and you can tell if you like it or not. They have always been happy to let me try whatever guitar or pedal I've asked about. I've never felt like a burden to the sales staff, and I also haven't ever felt pressured into a purchase. They really just want to help you find your next favorite gear. Also a great place for lessons. I enjoy going to lots of guitar stores and this is my favorite in the Twin Cities.

Paula Buendorf: Wow! We had a great experience here and learned so much as new guitar owners. Great customer service...knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. Thank you, Asa!

Matthew Pagel: Always friendly and helpful!

Mark McCubbin: The staff at Twin Town are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly and their product selection is great. Support your local shops like this. They can't be replaced by the internet!

Justin Bowling: Definitely one of the best music stores in the Twin Cities, and quite frankly one of the best I've ever been to in the country. Their selection is incredibly solid, from low priced cool stuff you've never seen before all the way up to very high end collectible vintage gear, and everything in between. Also, everyone that works here is super nice and friendly. I did a big trade with them the other day, and it was the easiest trade I have ever done. They are very transparent in how they work with trades. They look at the average sale price, and you get 70% of that. It's so close I was able to roughly gauge what my trade in would be, and then put together what I wanted to trade it in for before coming in and I was able to walk out with everything I wanted. Also, that 70/30 split on trade in's is by FAR the fairest and best trade value I have ever seen at a shop. It makes it worth it to just go here rather than sell online as the difference in what you get isn't really all that much compared to selling it yourself after you factor in the time it takes to sell an item online and the shipping costs. This place is definitely a 5 star shop. There's a reason it's been around and continues to be well known.

Danielle P: This was a drive by visit, and I took a few pics... would love one day to actually go to a concert at this location. First Avenue is Minneapolis' historic nightclub, made famous by Prince's Purple Rain shot in 1983.First Avenue opened in a former Greyhound Bus terminal in downtown Minneapolis on April 3, 1970. Originally called The Depot, the club brought in prominent national acts. Prince often performed at First Avenue along with other popular artist.Don't forget to see the gold Prince star on the outside of building. Silver stars commemorated key artists who had played at First Avenue. Prince Rogers Nelson died of on April 21, 2016. Its worth a stop if you get a chance to visit Minneapolis.

The Cedar Cultural Center: what do users think?

Fred Reininger: I've learned to love smaller concert venues. This would be one of them. The sound quality is always better and you're not stuck in a massive crowd. It was quite a while back but I got to see The Church perform here. I've been to many of their shows. But the high point of show was running into the band and having a cigarette with them outside. Love the smaller venues. Parking with a bit of a hassle but it was well worth it.

Nancy Spooner-Walsh: Wonderful venue. Parking makes me nervous as a female.

Dawn McDonald: Great musical. Loved it! George Meiles is such a a creative artist!

Mackenzie Lageson: .In my relatively brief time in Minneapolis, the Cedar has come to represent something beautiful in my life. A venue that feels somewhat like a holy place, and a regular source of inspiration.

Tony Gawarecki: Saw alash. Tuvan throat singing. Amazing performance. 10/10.

Karen Folman: A wonderful venue with a captivated audience and a wide variety of local and traveling artists. We never walk away disappointed.

K Swanson-Wikelius (piranhaofsteel): Went to support a friend with the Prairie Fire Ladies Choir for their last show of the year. I'd never been to this place before, but everyone was friendly and the show was great!

The Fillmore - Minneapolis: what do users think?

Peighton Lelonek: Great place for a concert

Zach Jams: They really take care of their customers and they had free picture stations. It had great sound quality as well

Bull Snark: The Concert itself was great! The only feedback I have, Is maybe having a gate Around all the early entry people In the future. I spent a lot of money for a meeting great with early entry so we can get a front spot But when the general admission people came in Somehow Between the beginning and the middle of the show They nudged their way in front of us.

Kristen W: Had a great experience here for the 502s! The staff at the barricade was handing out water bottles for free and security at the entrance was efficient and organized. Street parking, paid lots, and garages nearby made for pretty easy parking. Lots of fun restaurants and bars around too!

Jeffrey Meade: Great place great staff. No bags were allowed but luckily I was able to coat check my camel pack and they did have easy access to cold water which was nice

Alex Ardolf: Great venue, little over packed though.

Tiffany Sonterre: Saw Daniel Sloss. Venue is beautiful, fun show!

Vanessa Zins: If it wasn't for the terrible chairs, this would be a top-notch venue. I saw a comedian perform here, and the first joke was how physically close I was to my stranger seat neighbor. We touched from shoulders to thighs because the chairs are so close together. There isn't much space to walk through the row if people are sitting, so there was a lot of adjusting if someone had to get by. The venue is beautiful, and the unique art and decor paired with black lights make it visually stimulating. The bathrooms are clean, and the stalls are spacious. We had to walk through a metal detector when entering the building, and they had limits on purse/bag size.

fnaf fan101: If your looking for professionalism and passion and pure talent at what they do this place is for you. There very professional and helpful the knowledge they possess is incredible. There very friendly but will tell you There opinions. The space is very professional and they seem to have everything you need to record a great Album. I've been down there 4x's now.

Mike Hogan: I've recorded at a number of professional studios over the years, prior to working with F5, but none have come close to delivering the quality, value and sheer enjoyment of working with the team at F5. They were committed to exceeding my expectations while staying within my budget - and they did just that. They are talented musicians, arrangers, engineers and producers. I will go nowhere else for my musical recording needs.

Coupon Kev and The Thrifters: Coupon Kev and The Thrifters were looking far and wide for the musical minds and producers to bring to life "Stormy Weather and Smiles" which required exceptional talent and exceptional professionalism when F5 completely changed the game.I was taken seriously from the very first moments of reaching out via email and my ideas and musical directions were understood and championed which is a pretty important thing for the Diva in all of us.Very simply put, with the help of Davide, Owen, Elsa and the team, I HAVE FOUND THE FORMULA TO WRITING AND PRODUCING GREAT TRACKS! F5 are forever Thrifters!!!!!We have business! March 2020

Avaya Music: I am so incredibly grateful for finding such an amazing group of creators to make music with. I produce my own tracks and then send them to the F5 team to be mixed and mastered - I am blown away every time at their ability to take my work and just completely elevate it to a whole new level. They are really the best, will definitely be sending my next projects to them!

Gregg zuhlsdorf: A real underground feel to this place

Jimmy Stewart: , and they were completely committed to bringing MY vision to life. I couldn't be happier with them or the album.I actually haven't lived in MN for over 3 years, but because of the time, attention, and energy Owen and Davide poured into my project before we ever got into the studio, there was no way I was going to record anywhere else. I flew from WA to MN and pretty much lived in the studio until we wrapped up because...they're just the best!

Chico Barrett: Check em out good people.

Alison Prom: I had a great experience at F5. Owen is professional and talented. I can’t wait to work with them again soon.

Shawhin: Recorded an album here. These guys know their stuff and the industry. Stav worked with me through the whole process. Great gear and facilities for all kinds of projects.

Bob Knight: Professional, talented and dedicated producers staff F5 Soundhouse. I couldn't have chosen a better facility and crew to put together my first full-length album. Bonus: Everyone there is a stellar musician. Highly recommended!

Joshua BlumDaddy: Everyone at F5sound house helped me out so much, I could go to them for everything and they always got back to me right away. I am a new artist and they helped me through the whole entire process. You cant get this kind of help anywhere else, they truly car about your project a it was just a blessing that i got to work with them!

Laura Ackerman: I'm working with Stav on a very unique production. At each session I'm amazed at the talent, the skill and the quality of the work that he puts into it all. I'm very new to the industry and appreciate the sound advice I receive, too. I walk in with a melody and walk out with beautiful music. I'm simply amazed.

Plenty of bars around and clean rest roomsI attended Judas Priest show to a packed venue but never felt overcrowded except of the front - which is naturalI did not avail balcony/vip areas so cannot pass any feedback.Overall one of the nicer live music venue.

benjamin sande: It was alright, it was hot and there was nowhere to sit and sabaton only played 8 songs

Nathan Kittock: and the bathroom are clean and modern. Staff are friendly and organized. I'll definitely be going to more events here.

David Dittmer: My wife and I went to see Judas Priest and Sabaton here on Thursday, May 2nd. Had a club box right over the stage. The service and experience was top notch. We would certainly go to a concert again here.

Katie: Amazing experience!

Molly Fjetland: Such a great concert experience 😍

Michael Athman: Awesome concert venue!!!

Carl Wainman: Excellent venue, would recommend

Tony Senf: Got in line couple hours before doors opened and had awesome night

Adam Mitchell: The venue itself is quite larger and well ventilated with A/C to make your concert going experience better. It is located in downtown Minneapolis so navigating your way around may be difficult if you're not a local and parking can be scarce so plan ahead and try to prepay for parking when getting your tickets

Leo G: Great venue! Awesome sound and lighting!

james Lenthe: Awesome music venue. I will do more concerts here

Ms. Mercy: 10/10 experience every time I come here for a concert! I like that it feels like a big party since we’re all just standing around!

Dakota: what do users think?

Beau Larson: Great musical guests, great food and terrific ambiance.

Doug Pletcher: .

Tyler Verding: Great food, cool set up, good music, great service. All around a fantastic experience, will be back for sure!

Jay Smelkinson: This was my first time at this venue. It's a very chill place with everyone sitting down to watch the show. The food was good, especially the broccolini. I sat in the upstairs and had a great view of the stage.

Billy Cripe: The music was great. View from the back of the 2nd floor was restricted so be aware of that. They seemed understaffed because service was very slow.

Colin Monette: If you want to experience what every good big city should have at least one of, a great curated jazz club, check the Dakota. The ambiance is dimly lit and cool. Bit of highbrow, classy. It’s dinner and a show and it attracts world class performers alike.

Noby Powell: Great food and music! Intimate venue.
