Kari Taylor: Many miles of different types of trails, through woods or along the beautiful St. Croix river. Picnic areas and benches to relax in nature along the way.

Alexandra Hanson: Beautiful state park! Lots of great hiking paths, and some of them are paved and fairly accessible. Great views of the St. Croix river. This is a wonderful spot for a day trip, camping, or even if you just have an hour or two for a scenic stroll.

M Lewis: So many trails to chose from! Lots of variety in terrain and landscape from river to prairie to woods. Very well marked trails and almost every intersection has a map.Restrooms: One in the visitors center at the trailhead as well as some Porta potties along the way
Stephanie Brown: We had a fantastic time staying in the Bluebird cabin. We had a wonderful hike and had the joy of a Bald Eagle flying right over head - a beautiful sight!Picnic area: Lots of spots to picnic - including some campfire spots to cook at.

The park's well-maintained trails make exploring the wilderness a joy. One of my favorite spots is the overlook, where I pause to catch my breath and soak in the breathtaking views of the St. Croix River below. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just looking for a peaceful retreat, I guess this park has it all.

Whew!REI has it all!From comfy light weight clothes to sleeping bags of all sizes, which by the way, are warm enough for the artic and available for you to try before you buy.Yes, that's right, you can literally get in and see how your next sleeping bag feels and fits your specific comfort needs.Although, they are pricey, they do have whatever you may be looking for, including a rock wall and service area for that bike that just don't ride like it once did.Going camping? They have dehydrated food, dishes, utensils and other accessories to make camping more enjoyable for you.If you haven't been to REI, it's worth checking out.
