Tonya Bushard: Sustainable 9 started our process by responding to our inquiry within 30 minutes of leaving a message. Chad, one of the owners was expressly flexible with us to show their new build. We met him that week. We new we didn’t want to live in that town but we fell in love with his knowledge, sustainability and esthetic. We schedule meetings to look for land. His communication was fantastic; Chad listened to what we were looking for and showed us the properties that fit out criteria. He had one last property that was well over our budget but felt we needed to see it before we made our final decision. He nailed it and we couldn’t turn it down. We had Unfold Architect design our home overlooking Minneapolis and Bde Maka Ska. And the dream team PM and designer take their designs and bring them to life and add all the final touches to make it a true custom home and exceed our expectations. Our designer fully decorated and furnished our home. It was like we were on an HGTV show at the grand unveiling. She moved us to tears. She nailed our taste but brought it up multiple levels. Our PM kept a tight ship and expected nothing but perfection from his subcontractors. We would go over there to check on progress and If we saw something we would email him and he would show us and invoice that he had already had a work order for it be be fixed. If you are looking for a boutique, custom builder that will make u feel like family when the process is over Sustainable 9 is truly the only builder to go with, we built during the pandemic, so prices were high, labor was in demand, but somehow the 2 year process made it seem to build relationships more. I won’t say I didn’t ask to PM monthly what is our eta! You will come in with a question and leave with a degree in 10 other things you didn't even know you wanted to know. His prices are always reasonable and you can even trade modules for other modules.

Ryan Kearney: I discovered Midwest Modular recently while searching online for a certain module that is pretty much sold out everywhere right now. I saw they had what I wanted in stock but to be 100% sure, I decided to call the store. I ended up speaking with the owner of the store who was incredibly nice, friendly and just a genuinely cool guy to talk to! He told me he had the module available and could ship it out that day, which he did. I just received the module today and everything came well packaged and the shipping was super fast. I wish everyone took as much care into shipping as this place does. Most people just toss our expensive electronics in a box with some newspaper and send it off. This place made sure that everything was well protected and safe while on its journey through the USPS system and everything arrived safely! Overall I would highly recommend this place. I wish I lived closer because I would love to visit the store in person, but for now I'll have to stick to online shopping at Midwest Modular. If you are looking for any hard to find modules, give this place a try because you never know, they may just have it! 10/10 experience and I will be shopping here again!

Austin Kemp: When we started this process we had no idea what to expect. This was our first experience building a home and we were very excited yet nervous. When we met with Mike Reinhart, the new home consultant, to design our forever home we felt very at ease and he did not pressure us to make any decisions we were not comfortable with, respected our budget, and gave us insight into what he has seen other buyers do in certain situations. He was also incredibly gracious and flexible with some of the financial aspects of this process and was very good at keeping open communication with us and our realtor. If this had not been the case I’m not sure we would have been able to make our forever home a reality. We also had a wonderful experience with Sylvia Roberts at the design center and were very impressed with all the different design options. Sylvia was very knowledgeable and also respectful of our budget and priorities. Our construction manager was Thomas Walljasper and we were very impressed with his communication and he made us feel like our concerns were his top priority. He and his crew did an amazing job building our house and even to this day he makes himself available if we have questions or concerns. Last but not least was working with Deb Jensen in the finance division. She offered us some great specials and put together a mortgage we could afford.We will always be incredibly grateful for everything the entire M/I Homes team has done for our family. We are so excited to be here in the Orchard Park development and refer them to anyone we know that are looking to build in the area!
