I was going to cosmetology school at the time and even the instructors there knew Faces Ect. was the place to go.I have learned so much; even more than I thought I would. I learned about all facets of makeup artistry like bridal, TV/film, SFX and print. I learned so many different techniques like airbrushing and only using creams or only using powders. I also learned about the business side of being a freelance makeup artist which is not as exciting but very important.I don’t think I would have learned as much as I did if the instructors weren’t as amazing as they are. She did my hair and makeup in a way that made me feel like "me" but even better. I was sure that she could do "fancy" makeup; I was happy that she could also provide subdued makeup advice.She also made recommendations for products that were reasonably priced and easy to find. April S: Shawna saved me . I had a horrible color and cut from someone who clearly didn’t know what they were doing. I Googled color correction and your salon popped up thank God! He’s autistic and I made the wrong decision again to go to great clips because the last time they spent way less attention rather than butchering it so maybe that’s why I went back. I’ve cut his hair until now because he moves around. So I’ve always tried but even I have never cut his hairline life that. So after his horrendous haircut and I was crying so hard.
