La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Minneapolis Airport Bloomington: what do users think?

Jaymee Spellins: Had a misunderstanding about the hotel and the age requirement to get a room. I’m 19 and the rule is 21 for safety reasons. The manager was extremely nice and helpful with the situation. I appreciate how extremely nice and empathetic they are. - Alexya

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Minneapolis Northwest: what do users think?

Jessica Baker: The only problem I had was the pool was under maintenance but other than that rooms where nice and hotel was very nice and the breakfast was goodRooms: The rooms where cleanNearby activities: Didn't really lookSafety: Very quiet and relaxingWalkability: Not sureFood & drinks: Breakfast was goodNoteworthy details: Not pricey

Riley North: Been here for three days The lady that checked us in I forgot her name I’ll get her name, but she was very sweet, very nice very straightforward and was easy to talk to . like it room was clean smell nice convenient gave us no problems no hassles or anything they have good breakfast. The employees are nice respectful and they respect your space. I will recommend it would come again. Spend my money anytime here. . I will give this place a rating 10 out of 10 to be honest .

Christine Pronk: If you don't feel like reading a long, detailed review then I'll just say this. I have stayed at almost every Wyndham property in the metro and surrounding area. If asked what one I would recommend as the best, this would be the one.The property itself feels new or recently renovated. It is well kept up and very inviting. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by a bright, clean, aesthetically pleasing lobby with a beautiful chandelier. Front desk is prompt and helpful and check in has been a breeze every time. Bonus points for having a foosball table in the lobby for guests to enjoy. This is something unique to this property and I love the idea of having games like this on site.Breakfast area is huge and has plenty of seating. It's been very busy every time I've been here and the breakfast staff are very good at keeping food stocked and fresh. They have a nice mix of hot and cold items and everything you expect from La Quintas. I appreciated that they were still bringing out hot food and keeping it stocked all the way until breakfast was over. So if you like to sleep in like me you will still be able to enjoy breakfast. The rooms are wonderful. We have stayed in a standard king and also the one bedroom suite and both were clean, comfortable, modern, and had everything I needed. We are diamond members and were lucky enough to be upgraded to the one bedroom suite and I have to say, I was so thrilled. We originally booked for one night and ended up extending for 3 nights and they let us stay in our suite even when I used my rewards points to book the room. I can't tell you how much we appreciate that. We never go into a place expecting an upgrade but we always hope so. We enjoy staying at hotels and it always makes our day when we get acknowledged for our loyalty. We've had poor experiences at other hotels that treat you like a criminal for inquiring about upgrades or late check outs but not here. I applaud management for giving their staff the tools to provide excellent service at any time of the day.The room was beautiful. It's connecting rooms that have an actual door to close in between as opposed to a half wall, open entry way, or some other semi private design. It's also not just two rooms full of extra furniture. In the bedroom the bed is cozy, soft, and so comfortable. You get like 5 big fluffy pillows and nice clean bedding. There is an armoire for hanging clothes, dresser, TV, and each room has a bathroom and shower along with the vanity area too. The showers are sleek and have great options for pressure and they are well ventilated. I don't know how many times I've been in a hotel bathroom with no fan which can be a recipe for disaster so I thought it was worth mentioning. They also don't have the silly mini travel toiletries and instead have the large refillable bottles in the shower which I always prefer. Towels were plush and we were given more than just one set which was great. The living area consists of a pull out sofa, comfy chair with a foot rest, full desk and chair, refrigerator, microwave, bathroom, tv, and it's own entrance from the hallway. My husband wasn't feeling well when we were here and the extra room made our stay so much more comfortableThey also had really cool lamps that had several different lighting options. You could have low light or bright light depending on the switch and I found that such a nice surprise.Thank you to Mahi, the front desk manager, for being so patient and kind while we figured out renewing our reservations using points and also for being so gracious when we checked out. Also big shout out to Bobbi at the front desk. She's always smiling and makes you feel welcome and we are always crossing our fingers that she is working when we get there. Bran the GM was professional, helpful, and clearly knows how to run a hotel. They should be acknowledged for understanding how good hospitality can make or break a guest's experience and we look forward to staying here again!

Ann Fry: They always make us feel welcome. The rooms are clean and breakfast is good. They welcome our dog as well.Rooms: Very clean and comfortableSafety: Always feel safe here

Rachael Seltzer: Nearby activities: The Mall of America is only 20 minutes away!

Samantha Sauquillo: I had a great stay at this place. Guest service are nice, they will let you experience that you are well taking care of. Love this hotel!Rooms: Rooms are neat and clean. Housekeeping did a good gob.

Corny Person: The rooms are very clean and full hot breakfast every morning.Rooms: Always very clean, they call us every morning to see if we need fresh towels.Safety: Nice safe and quiet area

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Minneapolis-Minnetonka: what do users think?

Ron Mu: Nice hotel with some dated style in the rooms but comfy beds, all clean, and a beautiful lobby with fireplace. Would come again!

Scott Gabrielson: Friendly staff

Allison Y: . The dogs were comfortable here and there was a very nice grassy area for them to walk.

Daniela Corrales: Excellent services! I'm so happy with my stady in this hotel, the breakfast very good and the room very comfortable and clean. The reception people with quality service.Rooms: Comfortable and beautifulSafety: Very safe

Kevin Davis: They quoted us a lower price over the phone for our two rooms, and then charged us a higher rate. If I hadn't checked our account, I wouldn't have known. My wife reiterated to the lady at the counter during check in, what the price was that we were quoted over the phone and she still charged us the higher rate. We called the hotel 4 times over the next week before the manager finally called us back. Then she was only going to credit us the overcharge for the one room. It has finally been resolved but not without a lot of effort by my wife. The room was nice and we were satisfied with the breakfast, but they have need for improvement for their customer service!Rooms: Clean rooms
