Jason Chang: .It reminds me of YouTube videos about street restaurants being the best place to dine in or take out rather than overpopulated fancy restaurants. The last one is a restroom, yeah... It turns out it's only one unisex restroom. It means quitting your phone, doing it quickly, and washing your hands before someone needs it immediately. With that being said, korea restaurants were excellent inside areas, brilliant employees, and tasty food!

Annie Koolen: Had lunch here for the first time. Ordered the Bibim-bap in the stone bowl, and it was the best version of that dish I've ever had! I wish I took a photo! The service was amazing. We told them it was our 1st time there and the server gave us a nice rundown of the menu and suggested some dishes. My friends ordered the beef bulgogi and vegetable fried rice and said they were tasty as well. We were offered refills on the sides. 🙂. We were told it is recently under new ownership. Will definitely be back often.

Suni Zmich: the Koreans next to me, eating the pancake, nibbling on the kimchi, bouncing to the K-pop, and savoring the extra banchan. Moving through my meal gave me a sense of peace that can only be described as feeling at home. The banchan dishes were very fresh. I especially enjoyed the cucumber – saltiness tinged with a hint of balanced sweetness.I love that Korean-Koreans frequent the Korea Restaurant – hearing them speak amongst themselves felt natural… Even though when I try to speak Korean

Quin Otto: Very tasty food and helpful staff. Definitely recommend to anyone

ZaZong Vang: Love the place and karaoke Daniel and CK was huge help. Enjoyed my time!!

Robert Bischel: I ordered from here tonight, during the first snow storm of the season and yalls beef bulgogi hit the spot!

Sharondria “Shoco111” Coleman: I don't think that I have had a bad dish yet. The rice cake soup is soooooooo good.

Bernard Robinson: My children and I love this restaurant.

Seung Park: Wow! Kinda envious of the students near this place. If the rest of the menu is as good as the first couple of dishes I've tried, this is a very promising place.

philip meidinger: Awesome service and great food

Kamryn Her: Very light and not heavy like usual Korean restaurants I go to. I love it ! A little bit of a drive but I’d go again the service was quick and the worker was very nice

Sierra: The food was delicious, it tasted as authentic as I remember from the 5 years I lived there as a kid. The banchan is delicious and refillable, the bulgolgi was tender and the dolsot bibimbop was sizzling the entire time we ate so I got plenty of crispy rice bits. The woman was so kind and boxed up our leftovers. 100% I’ll be coming back

Andy Nelson: This is such an amazing place! The rice cakes were so fluffy and chewy with the right amount of spicy goodness. The kimchi soup I highly recommend!

Lauren: were very tired after a long day. The owners were incredibly understanding and caring- smiling at the kids and asking them little questions.

Aleksandra Jeffrey: added to the meal. They also refilled it for free, up to 2 times! Must try spot!

Rae: Such a cozy cute place! It feels like eating in my grandma’s house, with phenomenal food! You can tell the ingredients are too notch and the flavors are so fresh and on point. The owners are also so sweet and lovely. Best Korean food on the twin cities hands down.Vegetarian options: Dedicated vegetarian section with multiple options noodle tofu rice veggie varieties

Erna L Folta: Favorite Korean Restaurant!! Exceptional service and dishes. Staff is great at answering questions or offering suggestions about dishes. Enjoyed a hotpot with soki.Kid-friendliness: Staff caters to group needs, been there in group of 2 to 12.

Mila Konika: Me and my family really like Korean food. Our daughter invited us to this restaurant for lunch. We enjoyed it here with tasty food. Service was great! But one thing that I think is that the design of this restaurant is outdated. Sorry.

Susmita Shrestha: Recommended dishes Calamari

Kahley Steinmetz: The food was really good, we got samgyeopsal and pork bulgogi and the bulgogi was AMAZING!! It was tender and flavorful, and I loved getting it crispy on the grill! The side dishes were alright, I wasn't a fan of the potato salad or the broccoli? Like others mentioned it's pretty loud inside, both from the other customers and the music volume. Our server was really great, she checked in on us a few times throughout to make sure we had everything we needed! I was anticipating poor service from others' comments but we were well taken care of on a busy Friday night. Something I didn't like was that we had to order sides of rice, it didn't come with the meat orders or anything else. I'm not likely to come back anytime soon just because of the volume inside, but I'd definitely bring friends if we wanted a decent kbbq experienceParking: There's a parking garage between Lake St & Lagoon, we paid $7 for two hours of parking. There's free street parking a few blocks away from Hennepin if you're willing to do some walking

B A: Hoban Korean Barbecue is such a great and unique dining experience that I highly recommend trying at least once. They have the traditional Barbecue grilling experience with the grill in the middle of your table that you can grill your own meats on. They have a great and delicious assortment of different cuts of meats to choose from. All of the meat choices I've tried have been absolutely delicious. You get a ton of sides and vegetables along side your meats and can make some really cool dishes. The service was great and friendly. Its a fun experience to do with friends or family.

Chan: honestly my favourites korean restaurant in the cities!! their jajjangmyeon is to die for. the food is severely authentic. most times they are bustling with people and i think they deserve the hype. everything on the menu is flavourful. i go here at least twice a month and will continue to do so.

Britney Serafina: The experience at this restaurant was nothing short of amazing. We had never had Korean food and they were helpful with recommendations. After a long time deciding, we had the kimbap, bulgogi, and gal bi. All of them were delicious and so flavorful. They gave us sides of daikon radish, kimchi, and cucumber salad and even gave us more when we had ran out.I will be coming back again! The service was phenomenal and I'm excited to try something new next time!

Kings Restaurant (Korean Cuisine): what do users think?

진진: JMT That Japchae...King Korean Restaurant shook America...It's so delicious ㅠㅠ.. To be honest, I didn't expect much when I ordered it, but I was hungry after one bite.. Especially the side dishes... I really wanted the recipe My boyfriend also said it was really delicious. He asked me how I found out about this place and asked him to come again. We were both completely satisfied.I highly recommend it! Perfect for both Korean and American tastes👍

Aprillia: They serve authentic Korean foods with a friendly service! Love this place - definitely will come back soon again.

KJ Goldstein: . Thanks to Google, we figured it out.. but not what they were haha.Everything was awesome. The Tang-Su-Yuk was fried nice and crispy and the sauce was bright and fresh. The Kan-Pun-Gi was a perfect spice and and flavor. It iis on the pricier side, which im mot a fan of, but 100% recommend stopping here!

Sarah Mathre: Visited Kings Restaurant multiple times and I'm consistently impressed by the authentic Korean cuisine they serve. The food is delicious, providing a true taste of Korea. The staff, often international Korean students, are friendly and bilingual, adding to the cultural vibe. However, note that if you request extra rice, it might come as a surprise due to cultural expectations on portion sizes, which appear particularly modest by American standards. Their menu has significantly condensed post-COVID, now fitting on a single laminated sheet front and back, but the quality of the offerings remains superb. They previously featured a buffet line for lunch, which hasn't been seen in the last three years. Despite these changes, the dining experience here remains top-notch. Highly recommended for an authentic Korean meal!

Chanyoung Jo: Welcome to Korea This is the taste of KoreaI don't often leave reviews, but I'm leaving this because it's so delicious.Be sure to succeed and sell a lot

Ameet: . Nice fusion of Korean and also some very but few Korean dishes. Definitely with stopping by keeping in mind Lake & Hennepin closures for now, although there is ample parking around.I hope you try the soy garlic chicken, bibimbap and the fried chicken obvi. Go. Enjoy!

Marc Keller: There is only 1 bad item on the whole menu and that’s the fried doughnuts. Skip them unless you want oil flavored bread with a hint of cinnamon sugar.I would highly recommend the soy garlic wings, bulgogi fries, pork buns, or chicken katsu. The wings in particular are the perfect level of crispy/saucy without being soggy or bland. The lunch special for wings and a side is probably the best value you will find in this area. The employees are always kind/welcoming/efficient. I’ve witnessed an interaction with nightmare customers and the employees somehow managed to stay calm and kind despite the customers rude behaviors. If you’re in the area, i would highly recommend Bonchon.

Rowan Salem: I’ve been passing by this place for the last few months, so I decided to finally check it out and try Korean Fried Chicken for the 1st time. I ordered the combo spicy and soy garlic chicken, seasoned fries, coleslaw, takoyaki, and Korean donuts. The chicken was very good and I liked the breading. They were very crispy and the 2 flavors tasted great. The coleslaw & seasoned fries were also good. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the takoyaki. I haven’t had takoyaki before, so I’m not sure what it’s supposed to look or taste like. However, I was expecting it to be a little crunchy on the outside. Instead, it was very squishy and didn’t seem like it was cooked long enough. The Korean donuts were fluffy and tasty. I would recommend getting the icing dipping sauce with the donuts. My order came out to $38, which is a little pricey; however, I did get a good amount of food & I will be coming back!

Lynnette Gbato-Stewart: Food was good. The chicken wings were delicious. Everything was nice and FRESH 😋Parking: Parked at the parking ramp across the street. Poor experience there. 😕Wheelchair accessibility: Street access. However the door is just a standard manual door.

Bap and Chicken: what do users think?

Ben Koch: Gonna miss this place. Love the bimbap and gonchujang.Recommended dishes Sauce, Korean Fried Chicken Gochujang …

V Ray: and I was excited to take the girls. There were several booths with small businesses selling their beautiful handmade k-pop jewelry, shirts & hats and various other items. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but we all had a lot of fun today. There were so many unique and beautiful handmade crafts on display that it was hard to choose what to buy! This was our first visit to Bap & Chicken. I truly enjoyed the experience and the conversation that the owner

Barbara Korf: Where do you go when Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday? Bap and Chicken! Great food. Great Service. No pretense. I had the signature dish, Bap and Chicken. It was so delicious! My husband had the Bulgogi Bap. Also delish! We never had Bap before and the manager could tell. She saw us carefully eating the individual items in our bowl so she came over and explained that the point of Bap is to mix it all up. It was great and I appreciated the advice. She also recommended the sparkling sake. I don't like champagne but now I know that I like sparkling sake. Overall a fun date night.

Greg Wilson: Excellent fast-casual place for Korean fried chicken or bibimbap. Lots of options to customize and a few vegetarian options like veggies and fried or marinated tofu. Really good happy hour and lunch specials. The service was excellent and it seems like a super friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the ownership. We got the friend tofu happy hour special, crispy rice tots, and KFC bibimbap. Tofu was awesome. Lightly battered and fried, great soft interior with a crispy outside, and nice dusting of gochujang seasoning. Crispy rice tots are amazing; definitely recommend. Kimchi was very mild but the sauce has a nice flavor with a bit of kick. I'd definitely go back for lunch or happy hour if in the areaVegetarian options: Vegetables and fried or marinated tofu are available for most stuff. The appetizer is really good.

been’there: Good Korean restaurant with friendly owner and staff. Freshly homemade Korean food with fresh ingredients. For sure it’s not like you go to Korea or Koreatown but it’s a neighborhood restaurant with a very good Korean twist where the food is cooked with fresh ingredients. They don’t have a large menu but it’s a decent size menu for the neighborhood it’s located at. There is outside seating the the summer too. It’s located in a good part of town and their entire menu is worth trying.

Aaron Doepner: I never knew what to order but finally gave it a shot. I had the Korean dummies and fried rice and both were amazing. Ordering it for the second time this week

Laura Johnson: I LOVE THE BUILD-A-BAP

Zong Txue Thao: Love love love Bap and Chicken! This will definitely be my new to go place. I've eaten at a lot of korean restaurants and not alot of places have really good kimchi?? This place has good kimchi in their chicken bibimbap! Their chicken is Krispy and they fill your bowl to the top with all their ingredients. If you haven't given this place to try, you'll want to! Dining service was wonderful, the worker kept coming to ask us how the food was and was super friendly. Water and utensils are self served! I also have to say, the outside of the restaurant looks like an advertising company and nothing like a restaurant. However, once you enter in, you could tell they've put in some effort to make the place Instagram worthy! Definitely do not judge this book by its cover and try this place. I definitely recommend it! -from one korean food lover to another. You won't regret it!!My favorite order:The chicken bibimbap bowlHangover friend rice "house rice"

Chris Buchanan: Ordered online for take-out. When I arrived to claim my order, the host look concerned when she realized that a food delivery driver had mistakenly grabbed my order. Since it was the last whole chicken meal they had prepped for the night, she refunded my payment and gave me the option to order anything thing else on the menu at no charge. While I wasn't thrilled with the situation, I have to award them a 5-star review for correcting the issue to their best ability with no excuses, only apologies. The 3-piece boneless thighs were a great substitution. Will return!

Dong Yang Oriental Foods & Deli: what do users think?

John Mendolia: Deli in the back is slept on! Definitely get out there!

Linh Nguyen: Great Asian grocery store!! Wide variety of different korean and japanese snacks plus some of the 'trendy' snacks too. I got the fresh kimbap here, it was super tasty.

Abby Salva In America: Foods are delicious, but i noticed they use too much msg in their foods. Feel dizzy after eating.

Crystal Cogger: Absolutely love the Kimchi Stew!!

Jerry Bridges: For different Asian ethnic sauces that's the place to go, I love the sweet soy sauce there, can't find it anywhere else in this area. I make my own beef jerky and a splash of that sweet soy sauce and red pepper flakes seals the deal for me.

Thao Le: Review for the restaurant inside: best Korean food ever!! Never been so happy to eat out of styrofoam boxes! Kimchi stew + spicy seafood noodle *chefs kiss. The food is worth it though… if you care about taste and flavor.. this is the place … you’re definitely not getting atmosphere. lol.

Julio Morales: Pretty busy Saturday afternoon but was worth the wait. I aways get the japchae. Very good flavor. Big portion, never finish the food. Me and my girl usually spend $35 on 2 meals but always got leftovers.

Choua Xiong: The store is generally clean. I typically visit primarily for the unique Korean side dishes that aren't available at other Asian stores. However, a lot of general products are priced higher compared to other nearby Asian stores.

Dong Hae Korean Grill & Sushi: what do users think?

Shannon Toftely: We had an incredible experience hosting a KBBQ dinner at Dong Hae! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was lively, and the service was top-notch.We indulged in both sushi and Korean BBQ à la carte, and every dish was impeccably fresh and bursting with flavor. My only minor suggestion would be to expand their alcohol selection to offer even more options for guests to enjoy. Nonetheless, Dong Hae exceeded our expectations, providing a delightful evening filled with delectable cuisine and wonderful company. We'll definitely be returning to dive into the extensive menu!

Stacy Vang: Food was great! I went with my 2 sisters and we had 2 different servers came to check on us to make sure everything is fine and if we need anything else and they were really friendly, especially the guy server. We had kbbq, and came around 8:30ishpm, so we almost didn't finished cooking by closing time because the meat portions were very generous, but the our server tried to help us and let us know it's alright and no need to rush. Expect to bring $$$, because it's pricy but food tasted good and even the sushi were good. We got the baked california and crazy boy, teriyaki chicken, chicken katsu, marinated combo, and spicy pork bulgogi.

Alexi Wells: This is a meal experience I recommend everyone try. The portions are generous, tasty, and diverse. When I say generous, I mean it, bring a friend! You're going to want that bbq or hotpot. Don't be intimidated. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Our server, Lee, made sure we had everything we needed and made recommendations based on our spice preferences. So much fun!
