United Noodles: what do users think?

Joel Rogness: Love this place. It leans Japanese, Chinese, and Korean, but has a selection of products from all over Asia. Used to be hard to find at first but now since we all have an omnipotent hive mind, it's easy! And so worth it.

Craig Edwards: The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. An excellent selection of Asian food ingredients. They are the best!

Sheila Her: You can find almost everything you need here. I went there the other day and didn’t realize they are charging 5 cents a grocery bag. Something new here in MN. I don’t recall Midwest charging plastic bags.

Aurora Schaffer (LavenderCow): They have such a good selection of East Asian snacks and foods! They are also so so big!!!!! I do wish though that they had more options that don’t have chemicals in them.

Carolina Margaria: from a variety of countries and brands. They have an in-house butcher and a wide selection of quality meat and fish. There are also some cooking tools and place settings. There is a new restaurant inside focused on Hawaiian food.

Sean Lawrence: I tried the banh mi for the first time today and I thought it was solid. The only vegetarian option is fried tempeh, and unlike the meat ones is only made on request. While I'd prefer tofu or mock duck, the tempeh was pretty good, if a bit dry. I would also want more bite from the pickled veggies but overall great for the price

SL K: My go to store for Asian grocery needs. Clean, easy to navigate, friendly staffs. The produce section is fantastic.

Jeff O: Love this store! It is hard to find things sometimes because majority of the item tags are not in English but if you want authentic then that's what you get 🤷🏾‍♂️ ZERO COMPLAINTS

Asher Staton: We frequent united noodle fairly often. I feel like they’ve declined since covid, like so many business. We still enjoy it.

Derek Larson: I live about 80 miles away from United noodles, but try to make it a regular stop to replenish our pantry. It's got a great selection of Staples and fresh produce that we simply can't get in outstate minnesota. Highly recommended.

Shuang Hur Supermarket Minneapolis: what do users think?

ABRAHAN PINCHUPA: Brilliant.

Leslie Richter: Good prices and a wonderful array of good offered. I also found the folks working there to be very helpful.

Az K: Great snacks!!

Drew W: I love the variety of this store! Fresh meat and produce.

Ying Thao: This location is smaller than the saint Paul location, but it still has the basic needs here. I will definitely visit again if in in the area!

Tom Fabjance: Good selection of Korean grocery supplies including flatware, dishes, produce and lots and lots of noodles.

Dominic Wong: Great selections from perishable to canned and dry foods

Luis Ernesto Lopez Lopez Lopez: Good

Norse Maiden: Made a delivery. Tight streets. Great to work with.

Lucas Lee: You have to find parking but when I went there was lots of parking available. I'm not sure if they own any parking near there though and I did not look to see the perimeter if they have parking in the back or around the corner.

Brady McDowell: Shuang Hur is by far one of my favorite Asian supermarkets in the Twin Cities. They have everything from snacks and produce to tea and chopsticks. Very reasonable prices compared to some of the other Asian supermarkets in the Twin Cities. I really enjoy Shuang Hur!

moto-i: what do users think?

Yesenia Moran: Recommended dishes Rangoons

Gregory Miller: Best JFC in town

Danielle M: Dim lighting, comfortable seating with many options, and attentive service. They offer a decent spread of cocktail/mocktail style beverages - they were a wee bit on the pricey side for quality, so stuck to one. What makes this place shine is their BUNS. Fluffy, flavorful, I dang near shed a tear. Someone is putting love into them I just know it!My drunken noodles were also flavorful, veggie packed, but a bit on the oily side. I will still be going back.Amazing waitstaff. So personable, welcoming and interesting. Elinor is a star.Lot of options for vegetarian and vegans as well.Vegetarian options: Tofu and mock duck are available proteins. Ask for no fish sauce and you’re golden!

Noah Reed: After having some great authentic ramen in the cities, I wanted to try a more modern take on the classic dish. Decided to give moto-i a shot, and they did not disappoint!First off, it has to be said - the atmosphere is incredible. The place is clean, cool, and stylistic. It’s dimly lit, and they aren’t afraid to show off their love of Sumo. This love isn’t superficial - they often have matches on several of the many TVs around the space, and they even run a fantasy Sumo league. This is just a killer place to hang out, even without their food. The food is where they really shine though. I’m from Kansas, and we love our BBQ - when I say this is the best pork I’ve had in the Twin Cities, I’m not joking. The ramen as a whole is great, though definitely more modern than authentic in style. The same pork from the ramen is used in their outstanding pork buns, which is great. The menu is more focused than a typical ramen restaurant, but everything is delicious.Overall I would definitely recommend moto-i for some killer pork, modern ramen, and a cool place to hang out.

Niki Bee: Quick pop in while visiting the city for the day! Nice ambiance! Fast service & good food! Hipster Asian style eatery with some traditional and non traditional dishes! Would visit againParking: Metered street parking

David Ly: Never had a bad experience here. I love the atmosphere and the food, and the staff have always been friendlyVegetarian options: A good portion of the menu can be made vegan or vegetarian, but be sure to ask for it from your server.

Miranda Montes: . We sat and the bar. The bartender was super knowledgeable about both. They also gave us lots of info about special events they run since we are new to the area and are planning on coming back. We got the house made pickles and fries as a starter, vegan and classic ramen for dinner. Everything was so good and fresh! The vegan ramen was the best veg ramen I have ever had, super rich and flavorful. Love this spot!Vegetarian options: The vegan ramen was some of the best I have ever had! They have tons of vegetarian options and several vegan ones, plus delicious drinks. If you are veg put this place on your list!

Jose Quintana. .: and substituted the club soda for Sprite. It was delicious. I tasted Sake for the first time, and it was surprisingly good. A cross between a semi sweet white wine and peach schnapps but with no peach, it'll make sense when you try it. It was the first one on top of their sake menu. I also had their local cola, which reminded me of RC cola. I enjoyed it. For apps, we ordered the Rangoons, which, although they have no Crab, were deliciously filled and the pork belly pieces, which were juicy and crispy. We also had the pork belly and crispy chicken steamed buns. Each sauce complements the protein very well. Again, they were delicious. All 4 of us had the classic ramen. It was quite tasty and served very hot. We really enjoyed this place, and although we will return 10/10 for the great food, the experience wouldn't have been the same if it weren't for our server Tyler! From greeting and welcoming us to explaining the menu and giving us some suggestions, to refilling my drink multiple times just before it ended Tyler is the type of server and person that genuinely likes what he does, and does it very ,very well, that, definitely tied the whole experience while elevating it. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Kaitlyn Steffenhagen: steam buns are amazing!!

Kado no Mise: what do users think?

Jordan Brainard: We came for Omakase Matsu and also had the sake pairings. For two people, the highest level of omakase, a flight of paired sake, plus a couple extra orders of nigiri, we approached $500. The bill is total, there was not even a line for leaving a tip.I think this is a 5 star experience and worth the money for you if you know you already like the style of food. The other person in my party has eaten and prepared Japanese food for years and thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal, as well as the sake.On the other hand, while I consider myself an adventurous eater, and after trying everything, I found the food to be almost off putting. I would not take someone here if they don’t know what they’re in for: cold jellies, custards in warm broth, tiny whole squids, eels, obviously raw fish, etc. In other words: I don’t think this is a place you go to be introduced to the style of cuisine. The service was without reproach, best service I’ve ever had at any restaurant across any cuisine or city in this country. The service ware was also so unique. Every piece was unique, repaired with bits of gold, and traditional. Very beautiful. Everything done here is done with a high level of perfection and attention to detail.

Linda McLoon: All through the worst part of the pandemic, we tried to get take out from our favorite places. Restaurants really struggled, and it seemed important to keep the ones we loved. Kado no Mise was one of them. We just went back for a matsu table service multi course dinner. It is such a wonderful place, and the food is perfectly prepared classical Japanese food. We also opted for the sake tasting, which I highly recommend. It was really marvelous. There were many courses. We started with sakizuke, which was made of surf clam, spinach, tofu skin, and shitake mushroom. They served "wandering poet" sake with it. Sake names are the best! I won't enumerate all the many courses, but every one was perfect. We ended with a fabulous sequence of nigiri, including one topped with seared waygu. The most crazy course of the evening was fugu! Yes- the infamous puffer fish. It apparently is flown in from Japan and verified to be safe. It was interesting, for certain! The chef collects antique service ware from Japan. Each dish is served on beautiful and unique dishes. Each sake was served in a unique cup. These items are beautiful, and it feels very special eating from them. They are located at 33 North 1st Avenue in the North loop.I think it is impossible to eat here and not leave feeling calm and happy. The chef is the lovely smiling man in the bow tie. Be sure to wave!

David Wnek: Kada no Mise offers stunning food in their tucked away downtown location. Their omakase experience was delightful, featuring unique and delicate nigiri that blew us away, along with choice Japanese delicacies we've seen nowhere else.Alas, their tucked away location led to a very strange atmosphere, particularly the odd little room my wife and I were seated in. The dark room would have been atmospheric if it weren't for the bright red fire alarm and the three windows, two of which looked out to the bar and restaurant. The servers were all kind and knowledgeable, but there seemed to be a lack of coordination between them and a lack of practice on their delivery. An excellent food experience, though understand the rest of the dining experience may not reflect the pricetag.

KJ: Enjoyed omakase matsu with my daughter for our shared birthday celebration. After experiencing omakase in Japan, I have been craving that experience here. Just so happened the chef at Kado no Mise was an apprentice chef to the chef we ate with in Kyoto. Small world! Chef Furukawa made our meal at Kado no Mise memorable and served us the most delicious meal at the counter. It’s very expensive, but it’s more than just a meal. It’s a memorable, delicious experience, unlike any other place in the cities.

Umei: what do users think?

Chrislyn Koch: Everything from dining-ware and incense to stationery treats and jewelry can be found in this delightful shop. To top it all off, Susan was so kind, accommodating and helpful. Thanks!

David Mendolia: umei is a wonderfully curated space, filled with treasures for you, your home and friends/family/partner for gifts. stop in and let susan guide you, you will be so pleased you did.

Carmelie Jacob: ; I wrote the owner, she answered promptly and sent it with a gift inspired by my order and the cutest little note. Outstanding customer service! I highly recommend this store!

GimbapTaco: I love this place! The hours are odd but I was told that you could make an appointment by contacting the store to be able to come in on a day that works for you! Though it’s a bit out of the way for my I’m glad to be able to have a place I can purchase my TRAVELERS products in person that doesn’t require me to travel to san francisco or chicago! There’s many Japanese arts and home goods and stationary items, a gallery next door some kitchen ware. Take a look if you’re in town!

Rachel Mezey: One of the only, if not only Japanese home goods store in the Twin Cities that I know about. Lovely layout and atmosphere, a must visit if you love Japanese wares. They have a nice and curated selection of stationary, kitchen tools, bath toiletries, books, and tableware. I wanted to buy one of everything, will definitely be back!

Christine Monari: This is one of the most thoughtfully curated shops I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. I’m not normally a review-writer but I felt compelled to recommend this store to everyone. You can see the level of care that Susan has taken in creating such a beautiful space. Each item seemingly having a well thought out story or meaning behind it. Need a gift? Come here. Want to cheer yourself up? Come here! Susan is so helpful and patient. I spent way too much time here on my first visit and I’m looking forward to my return.

Brian Dolan: Gem of a store with a carefully curated product selection. Felt very much like being in Japan.

Suzanne Stegic: Beautiful merchandise, a city gem.

Will McKendree: A fantastic, beautifully curated shop. Definitely worth a long visit! I spent a lot of time in here on my first visit and ended up with some unique new pieces and cookware for my home. Having a great appreciation for the Japanese culture and design, this shop is a true Minneapolis gem.

Mia Bremer: This place is so unique! I love it for very cool and one of a kind gifts. Prices in all ranges. Stuff for kids, girlfriends and yourself.

Erica Pointer: So friendly. Beautiful things, too.

Nancy Farnham: Gorgeous merchandise and Susan is tops for gift advising and assistance! Well worth seeking out this jewel of a shop if you're looking for unique and fun items!

Zen Box Izakaya: what do users think?

Linnea Joanen: I want to preface this by saying it was delicious, the service was incredible, and the atmosphere on a Friday night is lively and fun.I just can't give it 5 stars in confidence because the lychee cocktail made me incredibly, acutely ill. I was keeling over in stomach pain and retching bile within an hour of drinking it.This sucks because it was absolutely delectable and I would drink it again, lol.

Dong Yang Oriental Foods & Deli: what do users think?

John Mendolia: Deli in the back is slept on! Definitely get out there!

Linh Nguyen: Great Asian grocery store!! Wide variety of different korean and japanese snacks plus some of the 'trendy' snacks too. I got the fresh kimbap here, it was super tasty.

Abby Salva In America: Foods are delicious, but i noticed they use too much msg in their foods. Feel dizzy after eating.

Crystal Cogger: Absolutely love the Kimchi Stew!!

Jerry Bridges: For different Asian ethnic sauces that's the place to go, I love the sweet soy sauce there, can't find it anywhere else in this area. I make my own beef jerky and a splash of that sweet soy sauce and red pepper flakes seals the deal for me.

Thao Le: Review for the restaurant inside: best Korean food ever!! Never been so happy to eat out of styrofoam boxes! Kimchi stew + spicy seafood noodle *chefs kiss. The food is worth it though… if you care about taste and flavor.. this is the place … you’re definitely not getting atmosphere. lol.

Julio Morales: Pretty busy Saturday afternoon but was worth the wait. I aways get the japchae. Very good flavor. Big portion, never finish the food. Me and my girl usually spend $35 on 2 meals but always got leftovers.

Choua Xiong: The store is generally clean. I typically visit primarily for the unique Korean side dishes that aren't available at other Asian stores. However, a lot of general products are priced higher compared to other nearby Asian stores.

Lateeph Onikoro: Is a good place for food diversification. Asian. Africa, South America and other places. Good price. If you looking for perfect English speaking people go to University not grocery store.

Richard Nguyen: A great supermarket for all of your needs.

L Z: Love the many options. Go here for the 20 lbs bags of rice, along with the crazy ramen options. Always have to hit the candy aisles on my way out.

Mixok Lorpatou: I love this place, it has a very good costumer service. The staffs are so patient and this place has a lot of good food especially the Korean corndogs if you go there make sure to try them.

Stricklybiz Mr Shaun King: Great!

Jess N: they have a wide range of asian grocery to choose from. compared to other asian grocery store, they tend to carry more perishable items, less fresh grocery. overall, its a great place to buy asian grocery and try new items and flavors!! its a fun place to spend time!

Todd Blom: Nice market with a wide variety of goods

Caesar Catin Jr: Amazing groceries

DefinetlyAfton: Their Sanrio and Sailor Moon selection of imported goods were AMAZING. The prices were so cheap for authentic imported products. The store is also HUGE, with the best prices I’ve ever seen especially with all the inflation going on right now. The staff don’t speak much English but are still super helpful and kind. Liliya Adasevich: must order before grabbing a table .... food is quite good

Amanda Helling: .I've eaten in once and gotten takeout several times. One time we were given an incorrect dish in our takeout order and had to return to get the right food. They were quick to fix the issue and polite and easy to deal with. The onigiri combo meal is a great deal!Parking: Lots of free street parking in the area.

Bruce Taylor: This is my new favorite restaurant. The udon broth is worth five stars all by itself.Kid-friendliness: We saw many, many families arrive with little ones of all ages. The outdoor patio gives them a great place to be kids.

Sophie Krupp: The food is delicious, and the place is very nice. However, the menu is a very hard to read. There is no way to pick up a menu and hold it closer. When we shared that it was hard to read, we were told to just look it up on our phones, which actually isn’t very accessible for us either. Having a laminated printed menu with larger print would make ordering a lot more accessible.

Elizabeth Christian: . Unique gifts, stationery, candy, high quality toys, and more. My young friend loved her birthday present, wrapped beautifully!

Grace Fredricks: I was a little bit wary going in, I thought it looked small and that I wouldn’t be interested in what they sell. However, this place had such cute items, and I was OBSESSED. They had all kinds of studio ghibli, miffy, sonny angels, etc. I haven’t been able to have access to items like these since they’re always out of stock online or at other stores. The prices were normal for the items being sold, I couldn’t afford a ton of things here but the little things i found i love so much. The staff is sweet and helpful with locating items or prices. She told me about things behind the register that I would be interested in. All together, i’m obsessed and i’ll be back! I’ll be sure to tell everyone i know about this place too. 3

Fia: This is a must see if you’re in the area! cool stationary, toys, and collectibles!

Frank Heller: Great toys! Kids love the toys!8

Kelly Ryberg: Awesome toy store. Mostly geared towards babies, toddlers, and little girls, but there was enough stuff that my 5 and 8 year old boys also enjoyed it. Lots of non-plastic toy options! Lots of stuff I haven't seen anywhere else. Great gift wrapping.

Brenda Balling: Very nice upscale place. I was able to find two gifts for my 6 year old niece I thought were reasonably priced. My niece loved the gifts, something I didn't expect. I'll go again next year.

CT Neal-Herman: Great selection of high quality toys for a variety of ages. We were buying a gift for a one year old's birthday party, and we asked for a recommendation. One of the toys she recommended ended up being the toy the birthday played with the most at his party! Don't hesitate to ask the staff for help. They are very knowledgeable and want to sell you toys kids will use for a long time! They also wrapped it for us as well!

Stephanie Swanson: Adorable shop with thoughtful inventory and the owner helped me make my selections and suggested to get the older child a gift when buying for the new baby. So thoughtful!!!! 🎏

Mursin: Boutique that sells current and vintage toys for kids. Their service was excellent and they even wrapped up the purchases complimentary! Great selections for kids who you'd rather give less screen time.

Brian Balquist: Wonderful little shop for kids and adults alike. They carry tons of toys, but also collectibles and stationary too! Many of the items can be hard to find in the US, so it was great to shop in person. They also carry some cool vintage toys/clothing. The packaging is also super cute, and makes the perfect gift. Highly recommend!

Amanda Baumann: to stuffed animals and stickers and vintage kids clothes, you will NOT leave empty handed. The shop is women owned and such a wonderful addition to the Kingfield neighborhood. Perfect stop for a birthday gift or special treat. The kid in you may just find something too! Can’t recommend more highly. ❤️

Maggie Greenland: Great experience and doll, thanks!

Katie Wittenberg: Cute store, thoughtfully curated

Tania Teigen: My son brought me here on my birthday as a surprise. This store is just delightful! It is just magical when you walk in! Everything is neat and tidy but you still feel comfortable shopping. The owner was working and she was just so helpful and sweet. They have a beautiful selection of Maileg, Paola Reina, Waldorf toys, and other tiny treasures. I will absolutely drive over to south Minneapolis to shop again. I live supporting neighborhood stores and this was just such a lovely place with beautiful fun toys! Highly recommend!

DVA NGBN: This place is so cute! It’s located next to a few different restaurants and is so tiny that if you aren’t looking carefully, you just might miss it.The store itself seems to specialize in open-ended play toys as well as wooden toys and vintage clothing. I absolutely love it! Prices are on the high end but reflect the quality of the items.I have to use all my self-control not to stop every time I pass the store.

Kowalski's Market: what do users think?

Eric Frank: Only complaint is the bike parking. I feel like only one bike can actually fit on the rack given its proximity to the building, the entrance column, and a handicap parking space. Would love if the rack could be moved to accommodate more bikes. Otherwise, a great grocery store!

Susan Cannon: ALWAYS choose Kowalski's for a special dinner, and foreveryday things. Best baked goods, from bread to sweets. Great deli, with lots of choices, hot & cold. Good parking options. Friendly people. Good location for our Nokomis area. FAVORITE !

Parvati Gebhardt: We love our Kowalski's on Chicago! The staff is very friendly and kind.

Christy S.: Very happy with the cake we pre-ordered online from Kowalskis. It looked beautiful and tasted delicious. I’m glad we opted for the cream cheese frosting and raspberry filling, the whole family enjoyed it!

Larry Owens: we visited your store in Minneapolis while visiting family. Very nice!

Georgia Bailey: A jewel in the neighborhood with high quality food from breads, cheese to first class local produce, baked treats to a small gift selection. Great deli, olive bar, take out options, and if course, just the thing you ran out of —milk or eggs or tha jalapeño pepper you need for that recipe. A true pleasure to shop there

Target: what do users think?

j w: Solid target for downtown shopping!

TinBennu Eldritch: Always a satisfying shopping experience! Staff consistently available and promptly answers questions with excellent directions. Thank you again!

Teresa Stangel: Very helpful and kind.

Curt Carstensen: This is the best store in the world and I want to spend all of my money here.

Nicole Norman: Close to home, wish it was a little bigger had more products like some of the suburban stores.

Makayla Rhayne: This was the coolest Target Ive ever seen!🤣 We were in awe after walking in- I used self check out with some friends, not too busy but it was around 8 am on a Friday so I'm sure it gets busier.

Zach Wall: Being able to order groceries from an app, drive into their garage for a pickup two hours later, then head home without leaving my car has spoiled me.

B B: I live nearby so this is my neighborhood target. They have good prices on avocados so I come here for those and for hygiene products. That said, the past couple times I have shopped here I have been double charged at checkout.Be sure and check your bank statements because something is wrong with their computer system or something.Otherwise, I like this store.

Ultraviolet: Perfect.

Juan Guemez: I needed the right ink brand for my printer

Mark Ditter: Thankful for a walkable Target! Helps having the very reasonable free parking for spending $20 when needed! I know not easy being a DT Mpls retail business at the moment - but appreciate it!

Wedge Community Co-op: what do users think?

JB: . Take one example: The organic cinnamon at Trader Joe's was $4 or $5 when I bought it originally, but now when I take that same small jar and refill it at the Wedge with their equivalent, it's ~$1.50. And I get to save a container from getting tossed. Hard to beat!

S Z: I went here for the first time yesterday and I instantly felt the FOMO of not shopping here sooner. I feel so much relief shopping at a co-op and not some corporation with no public interest. PLUS you can buy in bulk here which I fully intend on utilizing. The vibe here is not like a grocery store it’s better it’s more cozy, welcoming, and personable. I’m grateful to have finally stopped by— especially because I picked up a HUGE cinnamon roll that was 12/10. Will be back (:

Ariana Ochtrup: Wonderful selection of bulk herbs and spices from around the world.

urbanotter 1968: .

Maria Copeland: Molly at the service desk is the absolute best! Great hot bar food selection that's always fresh and delicious, kind and helpful customer service. Always feel welcome and appreciated.

ryan laff: Wow. Really nice products from produce to bulk herbs and teas. Friendly staff!

ARTEZUI: If you're going through Uptown, you need to stop here. The Wedge I consider one of the highlights of Lyndale into downtown! The vibe is great, the veggies, herbs and spices are fresh, and the fresh food they prepare at both the food bar and the aisle next to it are incredible; I grab lunch here with my partner all the time. The rest of their selection, though, is nothing to scoff at; premium organic products all around.Their program is worth joining as well to get permanent discounts, and they make accommodations for income restrictions such as SSI.You've got a lot to take home from this place, and if you stay long enough you will! Don't be a stranger and come by the Wedge!

Alice Bieda: Best neighborhood co op! I love the location, the staff are always kind and helpful. Their bulk food selection is great, and I love all the fresh local cheeses! Fresh produce is great. The prices are on the higher side but that is to be expected for the high quality of their items! I also love their prepared foods/meals. I take anyone who comes to visit me from out of state here, and they have all loved it.

Vicki Spencer: Love the variety of organic produce. It's nice to not have to look at ingredients. I trust their meat department as well. You pay a bit more, but for quality, great prices. Love having lunch and a bit of shopping at the Wedge.

Gary Jorges: for very Healthy Choices and Great Prices. I be back most definitely! !

Courtney Eickhoff: Unlike other grocery stores, coming here feels like a treat! Everyone is really helpful and friendly, and the item selection is a delight to pick through.I like to cook an assortment of meals and for the wedge being a small store, it has everything I need. I’ve ended up going from grocery store to grocery store for an ingredient before and have never had that issue here.

Claire McKevitt: The wedge is very clean, always have what I need, very friendly and kind staff, have great “hot bar” and premade options, and has a great bulk items area! Yes, the pricing is a little bit more expensive, but considering it is a co-op it does not bug me !
