We specialize in a Spanish Immersion curriculum, meaning our teachers and staff speak and teach in Spanish 100% of the time. Nutrition education and counseling are the cornerstones of this public health program. WIC helps families make positive nutrition and health decisions and put more fresh and healthy food on the table.

The Center for Allied Health Programs (CAHP) was established in 2006 as an academic structure to foster innovation and collaboration toward educating the next generation of allied health professionals and to address Minnesota's projected statewide shortages in the health professions. Meet Heidi Britt! She is the Center Director at St. Louis Park KinderCare in Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences. She has been with KinderCare since 2008, and before that she worked as a public school para-educator for children with special needs. "There are two gifts we should give our children; one is roots, and the other is wings." Outside of work, Heidi likes playing volleyball, enjoying the cabin with her family, and cheering for the University of Minnesota's Golden Gophers football team.
