Hyatt Regency Minneapolis: what do users think?

Laura Heilman: and the bathroom was huge. I found the shower a bit odd and the runoff from the shower curtain was a challenge until I figured out how to manage it.The bed was comfy. Environmental controls were easy to understand. The TV was huge! Accessing channels was odd. As far as I could figure out you have to negotiate an Internet connection to view anything. There were no clear instructions, so it was a bit frustrating to figure out.I have nothing but praise for the staff. They were unfailingly courteous and friendly. I was there for a conference and the catering staff were also very personable and efficient. I never interacted with the housekeeping staff. They kept my room pleasantly clean and neat. There were loads of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I recommend Lotus for ThaiБезопасность: Mostly felt safe, but as a solo woman I wasn't totally comfortable about going too far after dark. Police presence was decent on the Mall though.

Kevin White:

Scott Manley: Посещаю конференцию, но остаюсь в другом месте. Конференц-зал хороший.Местоположение: 4 из 5 …

P Bouton: Good wifi, hot water, gym, maid service, and check-in. I did have a problem with being served uncooked fish at the bar which caused stomach upset for several days in the first of a 3 night stay and no one checked up on me after initially discussing the clearly undercooked dish with the chef and a manager. Otherwise a good hotel and great location to the city convention center.

Forrest Black: !!Bonus:The hotel is located near a ton of great food spots.Walkability: Tons of great places to eat within walking distance.

Amber Schneider: We encountered a few hiccups in our travel plans, but we enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. They had great breakfast and the layout of the room was perfect for what we needed. We also had the privilege of working with Chad while we were here. We ran into a few snags and had a couple of additional needs, but Chad was able to find quick and effective solutions and assure me that everything was taken care of. We really appreciated the excellent customer service that he provided. Thank you!Rooms: The rooms have an excellent layout and the beds are very comfortable.Nearby activities: Broadway Pizza was a 5 minute walk from the building and they have great pizza!

David Schuch: I have to give 5 stars all the way around, just for the value. Yes you pay 35.00 parking per day but the prices at worth it. Staff was very friendly upon arrival and even gave you a good morning on the way out.As for being in an inconspicuous area. Hello?? it is downtown! 😆 once you pull in. Park, take elevators to H for hotel. You're now on the 7th or 8th floor. You enter through a secure automatic sliding glass door and you are now at the check in.Check in was easy. We had a clean room but one of the two tvs had a line in it so they upgraded me to a suite. Great staff! The suite had a view and personally I book these downtown hotels with the family just for that purpose. Breakfast was served from 630AM TO 9AM. PRETTY MUCH A FULL BUFFET THAT WAS STOCKED AS YOU GO. Didn't have any trouble getting full plates relatively quickly. The design of the interior is interesting and you feel secure being in your own area with separate elevators from the garages. You'll be very happy with your stay regardless.Rooms: Clean and tidy. No usbNearby activities: Mall of America 🇺🇸Walkability: DowntownFood & drinks: Bar in hotel

Sarah T: My stay was for a staycation and it was perfect! The hotel is very clean and has a calm and welcoming feeling when you first enter. The front desk staff were very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful to interact with! The room was very spacious and clean, had normal outlets and USB plug ins by the bed which was great along with many other outlets throughout the room in convenient spots which i find very helpful. The room service was quick and convenient. There are a lot of great amenities which is awesome. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel whether it be for a staycation, vacation, for a business trip, or whatever it may be you need a hotel for!

Tom Anderson: I remember it being Grand Hotel and haven't stayed since the switch over to Hyatt. Very good location..nice big room, nice staff. I was lazy on a Monday morning and ordered room service. It was good but think of a Dennys breakfast being served in paper takeout. Coffee wasn't the best and $4 for a cup not worth it. I would stay again but not order room service. I do miss The Grand. They had a great service when you could just order coffee to be delivered to your room the next morning.

Pam Daiker: after the Vikings game and enjoyed a cocktail watching the ball drop in the hotel bar. It was nice to be able to sit down, meet some new friends without a cover charge or standing all night AND be able to run up to our room if needed, grab a drink from the bar, grab a piece of pizza from your new friends or play some Jenga by the fireplace! They had a breakfast buffet on New Years Day, $17 with salmon eggs benedict and many other things. My fiance enjoyed that very much however I went with the classic breakfast off the menu for $10 which is eggs, hashbrowns and your choice of meat. Very good experience.Safety: I felt very safe there. Even after hours.

Moises Vega: I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was big and clean and one thing that I liked the most was that there are motion activated lights on the bottom of the bed for when you get up ij the middle of the night and see where you are walking. The service was fast and amazing, we ordered a margarita pizza and it was delicious. The valet workers were so nice and they made sure to take good care of the cars. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I will definitely come back for another night.

R R: The Hyatt Regency is a great, affordable choice near the airport. Amazing service via Blue Line with the Bloomington stop being directly in front of the hotel. Staff was pleasant and able to meet needs promptly. Rooms were spacious and plentiful. It’s MSP which is quite cold and the AC was on at 65 before I came in. Turning it up to 72 brought warmer air but it never hit warm/felt like a normal room temperature. Other than that, clean room with pleasant amenities only a few stops from both MSP and the MOA.

Evanyell E: The spouse and I had a rather long drive from MI to get back to MN to return our rental car, but also because we were flying out to WA the next day. We got in and the hotel staff was so nice, they gave us some free waters after we checked in.Afterwards we immediately went to the pool room, and I should say, that was a very A+ classy pool. I would have been a little happier if the pool had a deeper end, but 3'10" is about as deep as it'll go. I'd have been even happier if there had been a hot tub, but the pool toys provided was sufficient enough. The amenities are nice, the workout room looked good from what we could tell. Very secure hotel, I felt safe. It was quiet, and for once that entire weekend I got a good night's sleep. It was a comfortable stay, but then I've never had a bad experience at a Hyatt. I would absolutely stay there again.Rooms: We got a single King size bed, and the room was very modern aesthetic with color pops. The window had a good view of the street and neighboring buildings. It was clean and well kept. I like that hotels are doing the soap pumps in the showers now, very nice.Nearby activities: There's a bar and restaurant attached, but we didn't go there since we got in a bit late. It's around a lot of other hotels, but it's very close to Mall of America and the Airport so it's conveniently located.Safety: It was very quiet and they do require a keycard to access other areas of the hotel. I wasn't worried about anything while I was staying there. It felt very secure.Walkability: There's a lightrail just a few yards away right out front, so transit and walking about is absolutely doable. It's really not that far from Mall of America if you want to stretch your legs. It's conveniently located between MoA and the Airport, and passes are inexpensive. You could go all the way downtown if you wanted, connect to the green line and keep going to Saint Paul. They also have shuttles to MoA too, if public transit isn't your thing.Food & drinks: I cant speak to the bar or restaurant downstairs since we didn't go, but it is within a short distance of a lot of other restaurants in the twin cities. Uber and Door Dash options were good too, especially for late night options.

Clayton Cook: Very friendly staff that even showd patients when I had to wait for hours in the lobby. Room was very clean and comfortable. Internet access allowed me to do Zoom meetings from the roomFood & drinks: Restaurant downstairs is a bit pricey but very good.

Johny Castelli: going from one terminal to another.I would suggest to combat this to have drivers available for guests or large groups to avoid getting a potential complaint that your team would have to de-escalate later on standby or already parked at the pickup station even having the guest itinerary printed so you can call prior to set up…Room:The room was quiet and spacious and provided exactly what was needed which was just to be able to actually sleep for once … I would speak to your head of maintenance though… from just looking at at the room it was well maintained but there was a lot of dust and the cushions weren’t strapped in which could cause an injury especially if you have seniors of children in the near future. Please let me know if you need the photos I kept them in case you may need them for a coaching or a learning moment … being customer facing I know sometimes we have to just roll with the punches but I’m here as a newly found partner if need be.Food:I’m not sure how best to combat this but perhaps your team may want to consider doing a late night ‘food station ‘ that provides more than chips / snacks … in the area where you have the hall space for events you could potentially station someone there even an hour past the bar with hot food or subs to combat unaccounted for delays in flights or just commuting into the establishment… I would even have one of them create a flyer of a fun meal agenda of “must try… / best in MN “ to get the business within the town going as well … could be a good way to build business relationships for your catered business events as well.Overall Ambiance/ Staff Attentiveness:Check in was speedy, friendly and very efficient. She was able to get the room and provided me with an additional option on a lower floor .,, Although between you and I I thought I was going to be upsold on a suite .. thankfully not ha… bottled water was a nice touch …Thanks again… i appreciate you taking time from your day to reach out personally and with your team success !Rooms: Spacious as comment suggests and enough storage to store a few bags and essentialsSafety: Staff greeted as soon you walked in and there was someone always at the front end … maintenance crew were around which makes clients feel at ease in case they may have to grab someone in an emergency… I would try to have a liaison by the elevators but I know this is a huge issue with most hotelsFood & drinks: Unfortunately didn’t eat.

Latrese M Crockett: Love 💕 it, this place is the truth. From fine dining, great price, great location. Extremely clean. Staff very professional. The mint at the front desk gets five 🤩 as well. I'm very impressed. After staying in about three other hotels in the area that were very unpleasant. If you trying to decide if you should stay here then look no further this is it!!!! Stay it doesn't get any better than this especially for the price. 👍😍😍😍 Great job HYATT REGENCY.Nearby activities: Mall of AmericaSafety: Police near byWalkability: You can walk to the mall and back plus the hotel had shuttle serviceFood & drinks: The hotel had a bar/ restaurant
