Hotel Ivy, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Minneapolis: what do users think?

David De La Torre: I stayed at this hotel for four days during a conference. This hotel is very close to the conference center, made it very convenient to go back and forth. The service at the hotel and the restaurant was top notch. They upgraded me to a larger room which was like an apartment with 2 baths, an office, lounge master bedroom and huge bathroom. No complaints whatsoever!Nearby activities: Next to convention center and short walking distance to Nicollete Mall and other downtown locations.Walkability: Connected via skywalk to the convention center and short walking distance to everything in downtown.

Chance Sparks: 5-stars for an imperfect stay, because a nice hotel has to be judged by how they respond. We had a major plumbing issue well out of their control involving some kind of broke line. Maintenance was there within 5 minutes, and they had us moved to a new room with keys and a luggage cart within another 5 minutes, along with some credits. That is a level of quality response you just don’t see often, and they should be commended!

Mitchell Greene: Rooms: Newly renovated, Luxury guest rooms and suites. Very comfortable. Spacious.Nearby activities: Minneapolis Convention Center, Minnesota Orchestra, Nicollet Mall, Dakota Jazz Club, Target Center, Target Field, US Bank Stadium, the Armory, the Orpheum Theatre, the State Theatre, the Pantages TheatreSafety: Secure building. Key card required for skyway entry and elevators.Walkability: Located in downtown Minneapolis. Walking distance to the Minneapolis Convention Center, Orchestra Hall, Nicollet Mall, and many restaurants.Food & drinks: Great restaurants. I really enjoyed Breva, Masa & Agave, and the Lobby Bar.Noteworthy details: Fantastic spa and fitness center on site.

Lisa Carmichael: . Player piano was a nice touch. Staff was helpful walking through. Valet service was friendly. Love Minnesota!

renee kessel: Spaces in front of the building are reserved for valet or hotel check in . There is metered parking available steps away from the hotel entrance as well as nearby parking ramps. Jack, Parker and Ryan in valet are courteous, professional and charming. Emily at the front desk is knowledgeable and friendly. Overall great service.Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …

K Conrad: Rooms: Very nice!Walkability: Convention CenterFood & drinks: Great food in the hotel bar

The Marquette Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton: what do users think?

Cheryl Wirkus: This was a very nice hotel. I have never visited here before. It is super expensive though. The design of the building inside is really quite unique. Front desk staff very knowledgeable and polite. As much as I like the stay. I cannot return for that amount of money.. Eating breakfast in the restaurant at the hotel was very expensive also. The hotel is conveniently located near a lot of shopping. For as nice as the hotel was and as expensive as it was, I was kind of surprised that they had the old fashioned tub shower instead of a nice walk in shower.

Todd Green: snapped off a pretty witty comeback to me. I about died of embarrassment and laughter at the same time. The rooms were amazing. I was really curious if the #55 room is a real room or not. It is tucked between the 2 elevators. My floor 1555 looked like it could either be a storage room disguised as a Guest room or maybe there is a secret candelabra that you pull to reveal a Vegas Style baller suite. I walked to my room wondering all of the possibilities that room could offer. I opened my room and maybe not Vegas Baller Suite, but defiantly Reno or Tahoe. Two full walls were all window looking out onto the city.I had to put on my hiking shoes before making the trek to pull the curtains closed, but it was like the ending of the old timey movies where the curtain closes at the end. I was just getting that last look of the city before it was gone. The biggest things I look for in a room is 1: Can I see the TV from the desk. Yes. Perfectly. B: Can I plug in all my stuff next to the bed. Hell Yes. I had USBs on the sides of the table between the beds, there was a Mag charger on top of the clock, and the front of the clock had 2 more USB plugs. When I looked under the bed there was a little mad tucked under there and he handed me 2 more USB plugs. I still don't know if he worked for the hotel, but he made me amazing coffee in the morning. The bathroom was well done. It is always the spot to see if the hotel pays attention to maintaining the hotel or not. They had one bar of soap for my face but had amazing bath products in the pump bottles on the counter and in the shower. I was expecting the normal shot across the room when I pushed down, but it came out smoothly showing that someone has a stack of toothpicks and keeps those spouts clean. It was not the most enjoyable shower that I have had, but it is the most enjoyable that I can discuss here.On check-out I made sure to tell the manager about what a great property and staff she has. Actually, that would have been the perfect time to ask if that guy works here or not. At+

Will Ruffin II: One of my favorite places to stay.Walkability: 10 minute walk to Target CenterFood & drinks: If you enjoy good seasoned food, the dry rub wings are where it's at.

Hewing Hotel: what do users think?

geoff nelson: Great place to stay, we stayed here for my birthday and I love the rustic feel while also being well taken care of. We stay here a couple times a year and every time the experience is awesome. The hot tub can get busy on the roof but feels great and doesn’t give off that nasty hotel hot tub vibe which is common with public pools. Truly amazing feeling on a cold night!! Sauna and bathroom area along with shower area is really nice and clean feeling on the roof and they even provide lockers with codes for you to store your belongings while you are using the amenities. Close to restaurants and everywhere else downtown so you can arrive and give your keys to the valet then not worry about driving anywhere until you leave. The restaurants in the building are a bit more modern style diners with unique dishes and as much as I enjoy trying different food sometimes I just want to know what I am getting. Not a negative thing just something different for me. Price totally justify’s what you get at this hotel. I highly recommend everyone to stay here and do not think you will be disappointed.

Kaze Hiko: I really liked it here the service was awesome 👌 my room was nice just wish the shower had something for the floor because the shower for my room was very slipperyFood & drinks: the bars pizza on the level of lobby was pretty nasty so won't get the pizza again also the pastries at the hotel lobby Cafe were absolutely horrible threw all of mine in the trash but had a lovely time anyway

Michael Milbrandt: Location: 4/5

Aizlik Channel: I participated in the UN program and the truth is that the hotels are very comfortable, they are not dirty and everything is organized and it is a very good place for conferencesSafety: Security is very important, there is a security guard on each floor.

Nicollet Island Inn: what do users think?

Kevin Engelhardt: for the quiet, well-kept bar that is a hidden gem, and an occasional dinner/meal, when we lived in Northeast Minneapolis. So, when we were returning after a 4-year absence, we HAD to stay at the Nicollet Island Inn. We met friends and family for an afternoon and evening of dining, drinks and fun. We received superb service, unsurmountable attention to detail and delicious, splendid meals. Wow! NII sets the new gold standard for hotels and restaurants. All of us who travel regularly were amazed at the professionalism, genuine care and alacrity that we enjoyed with every encounter, every meal and every conversation. A huge thank you to Issa at the front desk, Brad in the NII bar, and Lillian and Rebecca in the restaurant. Everything was perfect. You impressed everyone who had the pleasure of interacting with each of you.Nearby activities: There is too much in the way of activities that are nearby. You are a 10 minute walk to downtown Minneapolis. You are in the famed Nordeast Minneapolis - just look up Nye's Bar or St. Anthony Main! Interstate 35W is 5 minutes away and the University is a quick drive or bike ride. Centrally located and yet quiet and tucked away from the wild life.Safety: The island is well protected and well-lit. The area is always busy with foot traffic and runners/joggers. The inn does a great job of securing the parking lot and managing their outdoor patio to buffer you from the passers-by. You forget you are in a metropolitan area. They still use physical room keys!! It is classic!Walkability: You can walk anywhere at anytime from the Nicollet Island Inn. The area is constantly "afoot" with St. Anthony Main at your doorstep and downtown Minneapolis just 10 minutes away. Everyone walks in this area no matter the season.Food & drinks: The menu at NII is amazing. Each menu offers great selections with a good range for all appetites. The staff does an excellent job of accommodating food allergen requirements without skipping a beat. The wine list is very well curated and the bartender has years of mixology experience to make you the perfect iteration of any alcoholic beverage. The NII should be at the top of you dining list when in Minneapolis!

Samadarshi Maity: Affordable place to stay in Minneapolis. Nice and friendly staff. Nice restaurant although it is not open on all days of the week. Very friendly staff of the restaurant.Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …

Cherrygal21 (Fruityyummy457): Good weekend romantical weekend stay and very good service, clean pretty rooms, breakfast and brunch very good service friendly. Close to the beautiful stone arch bridge walking for couples and everything. Near the downtown bars, restaurants night life, Target Field, concert areas, sports arenas, fancy hotels/bars/etc too. Good stay thank you 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟☮️👍😘Rooms: Rooms with river and inner city river views too

Steve Lilly: Returned to this spot for our Valentine Date night and was not disappointed. Great food and service with a calm ambience.Food & drinks: Quality food and friendly service.

Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis: what do users think?

Sarah T: My stay was for a staycation and it was perfect! The hotel is very clean and has a calm and welcoming feeling when you first enter. The front desk staff were very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and overall wonderful to interact with! The room was very spacious and clean, had normal outlets and USB plug ins by the bed which was great along with many other outlets throughout the room in convenient spots which i find very helpful. The room service was quick and convenient. There are a lot of great amenities which is awesome. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel whether it be for a staycation, vacation, for a business trip, or whatever it may be you need a hotel for!

Tom Anderson: I remember it being Grand Hotel and haven't stayed since the switch over to Hyatt. Very good location..nice big room, nice staff. I was lazy on a Monday morning and ordered room service. It was good but think of a Dennys breakfast being served in paper takeout. Coffee wasn't the best and $4 for a cup not worth it. I would stay again but not order room service. I do miss The Grand. They had a great service when you could just order coffee to be delivered to your room the next morning.

Pam Daiker: after the Vikings game and enjoyed a cocktail watching the ball drop in the hotel bar. It was nice to be able to sit down, meet some new friends without a cover charge or standing all night AND be able to run up to our room if needed, grab a drink from the bar, grab a piece of pizza from your new friends or play some Jenga by the fireplace! They had a breakfast buffet on New Years Day, $17 with salmon eggs benedict and many other things. My fiance enjoyed that very much however I went with the classic breakfast off the menu for $10 which is eggs, hashbrowns and your choice of meat. Very good experience.Safety: I felt very safe there. Even after hours.

Moises Vega: I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was big and clean and one thing that I liked the most was that there are motion activated lights on the bottom of the bed for when you get up ij the middle of the night and see where you are walking. The service was fast and amazing, we ordered a margarita pizza and it was delicious. The valet workers were so nice and they made sure to take good care of the cars. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I will definitely come back for another night.

Rand Tower Hotel, Minneapolis, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel: what do users think?

Leo: Fantastic rooms. They are modern, sleek, have an interesting and different layout. The view was great over the city from the tower. Room service was a bit pricey but delicious anyway. Miaou Miaou was a great little bar--the drinks were unique and professional.Highly recommended if traveling for work or leisure.

Michelle Lundeen Team Lundeen REMAX Results: We stayed at The Rand because it is within walking distance of US Bank stadium and it is lovely! It feels art deco with beautiful modern touches. The ladies lobby bathroom has beautiful tile, artistic loon tile and gold fixtures. The elevators were clean and so is the lobby & bar. Everyone was so helpful. We valet parked our car. Our hotel room was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. The bathroom is beautiful with tile shower and elegant touches. I would definitely stay here again.

Ryan Senensky: I stayed here for my wedding night on October 13-14 2023 and it was a lovely stay. They had an error with their processing system and charged me 6 months later but after a quick phone call, they took care of me and reversed the charge. They even sent me an email explaining what happened in the event I got an overdraft fee. Quite brilliant service I would say!Noteworthy details: They may double charge you months after the fact and not reply back in a timely fashion.

Corey Nicholas Collins: Private dinning rooms are the best..Came to the Rand Tower club for brunch and had phenomenal service from Ernisha. Ordered the omelette which was well-made to French perfection. The omelette included mushrooms and Gruyère cheese and was light and fluffy. My wife had the traditional breakfast sub a croissant for country toast. Once again The food was really great but we were the only people in the restaurant. I hope that will change soon for this beautiful establishment. We will definitely be back.

Mitchell Cada: Loved everything about the place especially how comfortable the beds and pillows were. The only downfall was the bar on the 5th floor. Had a few drinks at other places then ordered a vodka cranberry and did not feel that great the rest of the night I couldn't even finish it, and the one drink was $19 and change. Everything thing else was amazing

Terrell Collins: Rooms were amazing and the view was beautiful. Nice time to stay since the winter isn't too bad. Check in was pretty simple. Wish it was an easier option to get ahold of front desk once the doors lock instead of me having to call the number listed on the sign they post on the door. I understand the reason to lock them however. Location is also great! I had a couple questions during my stay there and Ashlee was great with answering my questions and giving us some great options on what to do when in town! check in was fast with her and i had no issues . Will be back in the future! Great staff and building.

Boba Fettzer: I have made three business trips to Saint Paul and stayed at the Saint Paul Hotel EVERY TIME!!! I am 3 for 3, and that will get you into the Hall of Fame every time, but I digress. I love this place. The Saint Paul Hotel is very affordable for how luxurious it is. The rooms are mostly spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The service is exceptional. The location is fantastic and easy to find. The fitness room is well equipped, which is handy because several excellent restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. After you eat, you can get your pump on. Or, sit on your butt and watch TV. Whatever. I am not judging. On-site valet service means you can get your car parked and only need it once you leave. I doubt my job ever sends me up here again to stay, but if they do, I will happily stay at the Saint Paul Hotel.

Hani: Great historical hotel in the heart of Saint Paul, have one of the best restaurants in this area.I like the room with vintage style. The only thing I don't like is toilet seat 😒 very small and very low profile. Not comfortable at all.Rooms: I like the room with vintage style. Nickhueper 2: Hector reminded me of Gus Fring from Breaking Bad if he worked at a Hotel instead of Los Pollos Hermanos

Deanna Wierima: Perfect location for walking to the US Stadium. Despite it being such a historical building, it felt fresh, modern and clean. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly and our room was a little roomier then many standard rooms with the open floor concept diner, sitting room and bedroom. The pool is small with no hottub, yet the exercise room appeared state-of-the-art. By the way, their continental breakfast includes fresh oatmeal and the biggest selection of oatmeal toppings I've ever seen! It also includes the standard eggs, sausage, country gravy, bagels and waffles. Would definitely recommend . Off street parking is much appreciated.Nearby activities: Mill museum is close by made for an interesting tour.Walkability: We were able to walk straight to our concert at the US Stadium! During warmer weather this would be the perfect location for walking to the ruins, waterfall and nice big green spaces. Many bike/walk trails.

Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Minnesota: what do users think?

K S: twice a year for several years now. They've always been awesome with food allergies and service. We love the staff. They are wonderful. Sadly, the corporation had started charging for parking, so with rising costs, that may affect our groups future stays. I hope they rethink that policy.

J McMullin: My kid loves it here. We went last summer and had troubles with the electronic lockers, but a staff member Blai went above and beyond to make sure we were more than happy. The large tube slide was down for maintenance when we went this year, but we knew this since their website announced it quite prominently. It’s a great ride. The Alberta Falls tube slides are fun. Staff was again helpful.I give 4/5 since some stuff is crazy overpriced. $17ish for a burger basket and $4 for a fountain soda with no refill. A full cheese pizza for $20 is ok, but $5 Little Cesar’s is better. The arcade “points” makes it hard to realize it is $3-5 per play. I normally would spend $20-40 at an arcade with my kids but that’s only 10-15 minutes here.

Vihar Dave: on your main hand. I was scrolling through the menu and apparently got charged but I was able to explain them and they didn't give me any hassle. One more thing the family restrooms at the water park are not very clean as they were not maintained on the day we went. But overall a great experience and my kiddo loved it!Rooms: Clean nice roomsFood & drinks: Great food options for dinner and lunch, although not a great option for breakfast, especially if you don't eat red meat or pork. Considering the price for breakfast I would have hoped for lot more options especially for veg people.

Diana Straub: I checked in, slept, woke up, checked out. It was a good experience. If I were bringing the family to Mall of America this would be a fun hotel to stay at as a family.I did leave behind an adult size 3X full length Eddie Bauer goose down pink coat. It was noted as found in my room as a purple child’s jacket. It took a strong conversation with the hotel manager and my insistence on stopping at the hotel a few days later to look at the child’s to see if it was mine. When I arrived on a busy Friday afternoon after a few phone calls arranging for the coat to be at the front desk, I waited 56 minutes to connect with the coat that was indeed mine 😊Nearby activities: Mall of America is connected by a sky bridgeSafety: I felt safe in the hotel. Security is present and visible. Each floor is secured.Walkability: You can easily walk indoors or outside.

Abdikarin Muhumed: Good

Katherine Brown: Beautiful Building, Nice Clean Rooms.

Tony Park: Only did a quick 36 hour trip, but got to speak to Margaret behind the desk and on the phone. What a delightful and amazing person that this hotel has. She greets you with a warm smile and just shows that she truly cares about her profession. Wish my stay was longer, but Radison Blu staff, food, amenities all are great. Hotel management should be truly proud of Margaret.

Maria Davy: Beautiful hotel. What made it for me, though, was that the staff is just...beyond. We had such a great time hosting a bachelorette with OMNI as base camp. The King Suite was perfect - spacious, comfortable, clean, beautiful view. Restaurants on site are helpful since it's tucked away out in Eagan. Plenty of parking available. Would feel very comfortable hosting another event here in the future.Walkability: It's on its own property so not much nearby to walk to in the immediate vicinity

Rob Brown: Two items make these rooms above average when compared to other comparable lodging options. They are: 1. The HVAC room system and controls work well. Temp is readily adjustable and accurate; 2. The shower temp is immediately hot. Both are very important to me. Service is typical for a higher end hotel. Location is a bit of a challenge to get to compared to other comparable hotels.Nearby activities: The Vikings museum is next door as well as their practice facility.Walkability: There is a walking path nearby, but all destinations are a drive less the activities at the MN Vikings' facility.

Jeremy Lizakowski: Great hotel with quiet rooms. Our only complaint is the long windy walk to and from the parking lot, but they do have valet service.Rooms: Spacious and quietFood & drinks: Top notch food and drinks

Darren James Wright Sr.: , all ahead of any hotel I've been to except 1. They offer valet parking by the way, which most hotels outside of a downtown area don’t offer. The room itself was pleasant, only knock i have is the bed was a little too firm for my wife’s taste. The built in restaurants and lounges made it so i never left the hotel. Didn’t need to. The main restaurant on level 1 was good. Great drinks, and i personally had a wood fire pizza. One look at the kitchen and you can tell it’s not a throw away product, they really care about their woodfire pizzas. I could add way more details, but they would really lengthen this review. All in all, i would stay again. Top 3 hotel for me for sure.

Mark Mehr: Nice new hotelRooms: Nice and cleanFood & drinks: We were there for the food and wine show.

Joe Horton: My wife and I have stayed here with our dogs Marco and Polo 4 times in the last year. The staff is outstanding and Marcus is very helpful…this stay we were given an early check in with no questions asked. Hot tub is always good and the fitness room is very nice. Near Walmart and Costco Business and right on a bike path and very close to downtown with free parking

Colleen Pulvermacher: We stayed multiple nights in the spacious 2 bedroom/2 bathroom larger suite. 3 TVs, fireplace, futon, workspace, dining table and 4 chairs, full stove/ oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. Nice dishes, silverware and needed utensils, bowls, etc. provided, along with microwave. Our early check in was nicely accommodated by Madonna, and she was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. All staff we encountered greeted us and were pleasant. We enjoyed the daily breakfast, which featured something different every day. Not sure how the eggs were prepared, but they were particularly delicious! Pool and hot tub were wonderful. The only thing my husband and I discovered was the toiletries mounted in the shower -- shampoo, conditioner and body wash---are difficult to read without our glasses. Darker labeling would be helpful. Not a big deal, just a suggestion. The garbage cans in the suite are very small, and we could have used at least one more garbage can since we stayed multiple nights. There is a one cup coffee maker in the suite. A full size pot would have been more convenient for us, but again, not a huge deal. At the hotel breakfast area there are paper cups only, and they are small. Bring your coffee mugs from your suite if you're a coffee drinker like me! We loved the location of this hotel. Easy to get to, Wal-Mart, grocery nearby. We felt safe here. Will stay here again. Many thanks to the entire staff. From Miss Colleen & Mr. No-- I'm Not Terry Bradshaw.

Kelly Cristoffersen: There’s a non smoking policy, but people are smoking marijuana in the building and on the property. I have complained several times. The staff went outside to check, but it seems to be a problem on the lower levels. When you walk in the door you’re greeted with the stench of marijuana all the way to the elevator and in the elevator. I purposely stayed here because I felt safe and thought Marriott had better standards. People are throwing their garbage all over the parking lot my children and I are not pleased with this. I have not been offered a discount or anything we have paid a lot of money to stay here and I don’t think we should have to put up with this and also not feeling safe. Very dissatisfied. My kids and I lost our home and I asked if they had any special rates for this kind of situation. I was told I could be billed weekly, but as far as the rates they’re set in stone. I have stayed for a month and have paid over 6,000. It’s just crazy. The people next are smoking marijuana as we speak!!Rooms: Rooms very clean staff great. Breakfast is ok. I really liked the fresh fruits. Wish they had better options for hot food. Usually hard as a rock or inedible.

Alma: what do users think?

C T: This is a quaint restaurant with a high-end tasting menu. You start your journey at the concierge booth, which also doubles as hotel check-in. They escort you through large doors and seat you immediately, assuming you made reservations in advance. Our server was very attentive to our needs and explained the pairing for each of the courses we had. The food was definitely a journey for you palate. The caliber of the kitchen is topnotch! The kitchen is open and right next to the dining area, and we didn't hear a peep out of the chefs. That just shows you the quality of professionalism they have. Smooth and running like a well-oiled machine. I would highly recommend celebrating a special occasion with Alma!

Nicole Gislason: We had the most wonderful experience for my sister's 30th birthday dinner. It was a curated menu where the plates just came out in courses. You let the server know what dietary needs you had at the beginning... We started out with some great cocktails and then a wonderful recommended wine. We loved every single part of this meal and experience. Do not miss this!
