Sophie Schroeder: Hannah gets a 10/10 every time ❤️ She always takes time to listen and makes sure we have the same vision. I have a long hair history and sometimes forget some things that may affect how color comes out but she has a lot of experience and is quick to make changes and fixes. She is also sooo fun and every time i get my hair done we blah blah for hours. Highly recommend!

Michelle Reed: This is by far my favorite salon! I've been coming here for two years now. Sam is my usual hair stylist, and I can't recommend her enough!! The only one I trust to style my hair for my wedding next month. Extremely skilled at balayage and curling my hair into flawless waves. I don't even tell her what to do; I let her just do her thing and it's always perfect. She is a wonderful soul. And shout-out to Jesse who trimmed my hair last time when Sam was unavailable - super talented and bubbly! Long story short, no matter which hair stylist you choose, you can't go wrong. ❤️EDIT: The Sam in this review left MN NAF, but the new Sam is wonderful too! Book an appointment with Sam Rose, you won't be disappointed! A welcome new addition!

Rose Sims: Have been coming here for close to two years after wanting to find a local salon to support. So glad I did. I’ve had three stylists that I’ve loved, and have all done a fabulous job on my hair. Two have gone on to other adventures, but Leslie is there currently and she definitely knows what she is doing. Plus she is down to earth and friendly which just makes for a much more pleasant and comfortable time. Jessica, the owner, cares about her community and I love the way she shows value and support to those around her. Oh- and I love her little dog. And I also love having coffee or tea as I’m in the chair getting my hair done. Just a little extra thing to help one feel more comfortable. My stylist was Luci and I LOVE the cut and color we ended up with! The cut was just was I needed too. My ends feel soft rather than frayed and so much easier to style. This was just what I needed. Would definitely recommend Luci and can't wait to visit again!

I am a breast cancer survivor and it was the first time I cut my hair since diagnosis. My hair was super long as I couldn’t cut it do to the fear of losing it. She listened to what I wanted and delivered. My hair looks and feels amazing. I highly recommend Anna. The owner Jessica was present and friendly. Natalie O'Shea: I was lucky enough to book a last minute appointment with Lisa Marie and I was blown away by her work! She did what I wish every hair stylist would do— she used her own expertise to tweak my desired look to best suit my facial structure and skin tone. Even more, she was able to do a quality balayage and cut on my super thick hair without keeping me in the chair for 6 hours and upcharging me for endless extra color bowls If you know the blessing and curse of thick hair, do yourself a favor and book a session with Lisa Marie!

Love love love the vibe. 🌱 Tasha does very unique technique that is popular in Europe, but almost impossible to find in Minnesota: hair dusting. This technique removes split ends without sacrificing the length. It’s super helpful if you’re trying to grow your hair out but your hair is prone to split ends. Shayna Rissman: and how it makes getting my hair done an anxiety evoking experience. I really appreciated how they didn’t offer me ineffective products and/or services to treat this. Instead, they listened to my concerns and focused on finding the cut to make me as comfortable and confident as possible. We agreed on a length and style which would improve my hair health whilst still allowing me to air-dry my naturally wavy/curly thin hair.They were clearly a skilled stylist, and I felt the salon feeling lighter and prettier. It was also the first time someone diffused/curled my hair to enhance my natural waves. I love a good blow-out - which they did offer to do if I had preferred - but it was fun to switch it up this time.I should also mention they were so easy and fun to chat with. My stylist Pauly was so kind, friendly and welcoming and made every effort to ask questions and not make assumptions about what cut or style I wanted- they do amazing work and pretty quickly too! The salon itself is very nicely decorated and an inviting atmosphere, I really appreciate their focus on being inclusive of trans, nonbinary, queer, and all identities. Also, the pricing is very fair for the times and compared to other local options, it’s much more accessible to people without a high income. I will definitely consider booking again!

Willow Locke: I’ve gone to Kait twice now for my wavy, shag-style hair, and she does such a fantastic job with layering and face framing! I have some really thick hair, yet she gives me a style that strikes the perfect balance between professional, throwback, flowy, and feminine. I saw her the first time right before a big awards show last fall, and the style made me feel so confident. Kait is a great conversationalist and hair star - go see her!
Annika: I've been going to Fox Den for about 2 years now and refuse to go anywhere else. I usually see Erica or Ellie and they are both SO amazing at what they do. I have very thick and dark hair, which has been a problem for stylists in the past, but they make it seem easy! The salon does have a strict deposit and no-show policy, but it is warranted because they deserve to be paid for their professionalism and high skill levels.
Léa Abernathy: I got my haircut by Caley and I think this is my favorite hairstyle I’ve ever had!!! I hadn’t cut my hair in months going into this salon, it was long, weighted and to my chin in different sections. I gave her three different haircut I liked that I wanted to blend into one, and somehow she was able to hit the nail on the head using her creativity to give me exactly what I wanted!She showed me the back through out the haircut, and walked me through different ideas for each section of my hair, from different ways my swoop could lay, how my bangs could be styled, the length of that one point on my side! There’s so much texture in my hair I feel so confident and like my hair makes a WOW statement! I’ve already got several compliments in public within the last 24 hours.Couldn’t recommend this salon enough, it’s queer friendly, so cute in there! Get yourself a haircut by Caley!!!
