Thomas Legare: Great food. Zero issues. Would recommend for a good Greek food experience. Get the octopus appetizer. Was cooked perfectlyParking: Lucky we found a spot in their parking lot.
Tom Legare: Amazing. Took my 9 year old son. Had octopus app, sampler for me, savluki for him, and 2 desserts. Not one thing dissatisfied us. Great service also.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu
Bret Kitchell: They have a super affordable lunch options too!

Jaidev Gollakota: Really nice classic Greek spot. It’s been in the same place in Minneapolis downtown since 1990 and the food shows. Not only that, the person who set it up still cooks and serves the food. Quality food in a nice cozy spot. You can’t go wrong with it if you’re just looking for a quick lunch while you’re in Downtown.Vegetarian options: There is falafel

Ron Fisher: art, and great food. Try the dolmades, we got 4 of them for only 3 bucks. they were worth their weight in gold. I cant wait to go back.
Jodie McGibbon: & waited. And waited. The other couple? They had drinks, menus & the servers complete attention. Us? Waiting. In fact I had to say something to the server. When he finally came to our table all flustered & stressed he told us about how the staff was all out sick, they were doing the best they could to keep up. We sympathized & settled in to have a nice meal. We ordered apps
C D: and they were absolutely superlative, and so was the rice they were served with. Gardens of Salonica has the best vegan dishes I’ve tried anywhere in the Twin Cities. They also have outstanding wine. I just wish they offered cooking lessons.Vegetarian options: Perfect spot for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians or carnivores

Josh Wolf: vs the fountain drinks they offered. Will go here again.
Faux: Would definitely not dine-in here unless you like abandoned mall aesthetic. Counter staff was super friendly and recommended the shared platter which was a hit. The selection of meat and veggies felt like a good intro to their offerings. Nothing is going to blow you out of the water but it's consistent and good portions. They also sell some grocery type offerings.

Patrick Miller: This place never disappoints. The best lunch restaurant in the city. Low price for the quality and variety offered. Highly recommend.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp
Ed Vater: Absolutely delicious and genuine!
Annette B: So far I have had the Falafel, Cabbage Rolls, Lebanese Salad and Chickpea Salad. Lebanese Salad and Chickpea Salad are absolutely wonderful!Falafel is good but I probably would not order it again here. Cabbage rolls were also good but again would not order a second time. I am continuing to work my way through the menu!Food and prices are good! I’m just working on finding my favorites! The staff always greets you and getting in and out for takeout is quick and easy!
Daniel Kempenich: Great food, especially love the Panang Curry. Very friendly.
Marsh Jones (MNSwamp): I reviewed Zakia Deli about 8 years ago, and thought it time for a refresh. The good news is that it hasn't changed. Same family owners, David is still in the kitchen every day as he's been for the past 20? years, and the food is still just as good as it was 20 years ago! This is not a small thing, especially for a restaurant to survive the pandemic, inflation and everything else the years have thrown in.The same staple lunch dishes are there, giros, falafel, salads and great entrees as well. And it's seriously good food.Stop in for lunch. You deserve it!

Advin Zhushma: Go for the gyro. Greek baklava is out of this world. Highly recommend!
Maria Gabriella Ponce: , and
Ruben Adan: Great 👍 loved it nice size tooRecommended dishes Gyro Platter …
Amanda Kneeland: This was my first time going. The place was clean and the people working were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very welcoming. They sell a very small selection of grocery items like rice and some canned items. We got extreamly large portions of food. Enough for us to save for another meal. The hummus is AMAZING!!! The Kabobs are great and served with a pita bread.Kid-friendliness: They had chicken fingers and fries! You can't go wrong there. It was enough food to feed my very hungry 11 year old that normally gets adult meals.
Zaigham Khan: awesome place awesome food and awesome services...love it
TJ TJ: I ordered from GrubHub because ate here in the past. Everything arrived at the correct hot/cold temperature. I ordered a gyro sandwich, hummus, and a can of MtDew.The hummus is very good. The gyro is okay and I’m not sure how I feel about the tzatziki. It was a bit chalky and no like it’s not any I’ve had in the past.

Emily: The chicken looks like processed Oscar Meyer rotisserie chicken chunks you'd find in a grocery store. I wish it was fresh chicken breast or thighs marinated and the grilled/cooked like other chicken schwarma I've had. The atmosphere and service are nice.
Linnea Joanen: in the tabbouleh--it ruins it for people like me who think it tastes like dish soap. Fun weekday lunch choice if you're a Mac student and can portion it off for leftovers. The omelets are also incredible!! Love the goat cheese one:

Sheta Lee: Picked some food up for lunch and it did not disappoint. It was a little difficult to order food online since it wouldn’t place my order.Food was ready pretty quickly. Ordered the street cart wrap, fries and Greek salad. I enjoyed the wrap and salad. I would recommend getting extra sauce on the side.Definitely coming back!
Ronald Mendoza: The best in foodKid-friendliness: Excellent food for babies

Rob J: We have been here several times and have always been impressed with the quality of the food and service. We have always been warmly welcomed and we know they appreciate their customers. It's fun to see the original African artwork on the walls, really adds to the atmosphere of the place. Highly recommend!
Alicia Renée: Amazing food! I've had a lot of falafel, but their falafel wrap was hands down the best. We also tried the goat and rice and a sambusa - both were incredibly tasty. The restaurant is very clean and spacious, and the woman who took our order/served us was friendly and welcoming.Great for lunch, I highly recommend it!Parking: There is a small lot in front for parking, about 10 spaces.
Peter More (Peter More Studio): A little bit of a language barrier and differences in understanding, even so they try their best to help me have a good exprerience. Their food is outstandingly good. Totally worth for the price.Parking: Store parking lot.
Pradyumna Somashekar Mysore: Great place for some descent goat meat over rice. Service was excellent!Ordered Goat Meat over Rice which is #1 on their current menu and it was was descent and filling! Good ratio of meat to fat as well! The meat itself was a little undercooked so was a bit chewy compared to traditional middle eastern meats but this maybe be the Somalian way of doneness on the meat not quite sure. Water and Banana at no extra cost was great to see!
