Theresa Pikala: The most beautiful spot

Jesse Morehead: Rest in peace to all who lost their lives on the old bridge...

QuantumVortex: Great structure!

M`barikiwa Channel: Very good scenary

Erika Bw: It's so pretty looking at the river! However tonight there was a major accident. I hope everyone one was OK.

Serraya Brautigam: Such a beautiful bridge! After the old one collapsed in 2007 I wondered what the new one would look like, as well as how they would help memorialize those who died in the collapse. The bridge looks gorgeous at night, it's usually lit up in blue but occasionally other colors. During the day it's really pretty when you go underneath of it because of the design and how bright white it is, and the surrounding scenery makes it look even better!

D K: Beautiful stunning view at night 😍 love it.

valerie jeffreys: Love this place peaceful experience of nature.

David Morseth: Cool bridge

Steven Mosborg: on the Midtown Greenway in south Minneapolis. It is the first cable-stayed suspension bridge in the state of Minnesota. Opened in 2007, the bridge provides a pedestrian path and a continuous biking connection across the city. Happened upon this delightful group of preschoolers exploring the bridge on a Greenway bike ride. Such joy watching the mesmerized kids listen to the cars and trucks honk their good wishes as they passed by below. A sunrise followed soon thereafter. "Always be on the lookout for the presence of wonder." ~ E.B. White

Dan B (Turbo): One of my favorite spots to stop and catch a view of the pre-dawn blue hour... it's a nice view at all times but looking into the eastern sky just before dawn cracks is especially nice from this bridge.

Isaac carter: Its a beauiful bridge . There are even benchs on it

Paul Economon: Awesome bridge. No bumps or noth'n.

Rosy Sánchez: One of the locals' best sunset spots of Minneapolis, MN.

Joseph Heili: Really gorgeous, I always stop here and watch the city during my bike rides

Kass: Beautiful place to catch the sunrise.

Barry Kryshka: Not actually all that useful for biking, but pretty!

Christopher Parenteau: Best bridge ever.

Scott Strauss: Nice view of downtown.

Jason G: Great pedestrian and bike bridge. Looks nice. Great views of downtown.

daskocina: Nice bridge with an awesome view of the Minneapolis skyline.

D Hampton: Nice view of the city. Places to sit and take a quick break before hitting the connected bikeways.

Mendota Bridge: what do users think?

Julia Kading: This bridge does a great job. I’ve never been let down by this bridge, and it’s especially convenient if you need to cross the river while using Hwy 62. I highly recommend it. Also, very cool view of both downtowns.

Paul M: Beautiful views of both downtowns and Fort Snelling, from the bike path. But go slow when passing other bikes or you may scrape your knuckles on the narrow railing. The bike paths on both ends connect to some great paved trails heading to Minneapolis, St Paul, Eagan, or Mendota.

Jenna Rheinhart: Working to rehabilitate the bridge. Patk below was flooded.

Derek H: Minneasota Riverfront

Herman Fernando Vera Guzman: With a great story!

Joe Ragman: People go way too slow on this bridge! It's a bridge! There is only one direction you can go! Minimum should be 80mph over this!

Emily Olson: A cool bridge

Jacob Brown: A little bumpy but other than that a great connection to the twin cities.

Paul Mellgren: The bridge is made very well

Jay Ilene: great mud-venture! really cool park nestled within such a bustling hub. MOA and airport very near by.

Andre Mudek: Greatest view of architect is from picnic island.

Gene Johnson: Amazing structure bridging the river for nearly 100 years

Mill City Museum: what do users think?

Sandra Pritchard: We thought it would be a quick visit. No, it was well thought out. A 20 minute film on the history of the Mills and Minneapolis. Then the Flour Tower, inspired. I am not going to give away secrets 😁. The whole experience of the Mill City Museum was awesome. It is a must to see. Views of the Mississippi from the observation deck were breathtaking.

Richard Erickson: Wonderful museum. About 2 to 3 hours for a visit. Great for kids with lots of hands-on exhibits. The flour tower is a cool exhibit. Great place to introduce people to the history of Minneapolis.

Jillissa Molnari: I recently visited Mill City Museum and was amazed by its rich history and unique setting. The museum, built within the ruins of the Washburn A Mill, offers a captivating glimpse into the revolutionary milling processes that shaped Minneapolis into the flour milling capital of the world in the late 19th century. The museum showcases the technological advancements of the Washburn-Crosby Co., later General Mills, and how it brought fine wheat flour to the masses. Walking through the National Historic Landmark, I could feel the significance of this site and its impact on the local community. The Minnesota Historical Society has done a fantastic job preserving and presenting this important piece of history. A must-visit for history buffs and anyone interested in Minneapolis' industrial heritage. The interactive Flour Tower was amazing, including a ride to the top of the mill and being able to see much of the Mississippi River!

Boom Island Park: what do users think?

Linda Novitt: Beautiful place so close to downtown

Sarah Survance: Very pretty park with a view of the skyline. In the springtime, there are lots of flowering trees which makes this an especially nice place to walk or picnic.

Vennamaneni Arpitha: Park with downtown views, picnic spot in downtownPlayground: Has play area for kids.Picnic area: Picnic spot in downtown, has good walking and cycling trails.

Akshaya Bhagavathula: As I explored the park, I was impressed by its well-kept facilities and variety of recreational options. The park features a boat dock, which makes it a popular launching point for boating and kayaking. Watching boats glide by on the river was a peaceful way to spend the afternoon, and the gentle sounds of the water added to the serene atmosphere. For those who prefer staying on land, the walking and biking trails are excellent for getting some exercise while enjoying the scenery. I took a leisurely walk along the trails and found several quiet spots perfect for sitting and enjoying the view, or even cracking open a book. One of the highlights of my visit was the picnic area, where I enjoyed a relaxed meal with a view. The picnic facilities are well-maintained, making it easy to spend several hours at the park without needing to leave for food or other necessities.Overall, Boom Island Park struck me as a fantastic spot for families, couples, or anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city without actually leaving it. Its combination of natural beauty, recreational facilities, and stunning views makes it a must-visit park in Minneapolis. Whether you're looking for an active day out or a tranquil place to unwind, Boom Island Park offers something for everyone.

Olivia Gorial: I ran the Hot Chocolate 15k which started and finished at the Park. It was 9.3 miles in the Mills District area. Just a beautiful run along the river! What struck me the most was no trash in the streets or on the course. Even the runners here are mindful and polite. The best part was catching photos of the waterfalls and all the bridges. Seeing people out with their family and dogs was so refreshing too!

Corey Chapman: Nice Park with great views of downtown Minneapolis and the Mississippi River.
