Twin Cities German Immersion School: what do users think?

Tucker Pearce: Our son started at the Como location in 2013 and we couldn't be happier. From Frau Heindl his first teacher to Ann Jurewicz the director we know he is in great hands. We have been very impressed with the education, the improved facility and would recommend TCGIS to any of our friends or family seeking a better learning opportunity in St Paul.I've found the other parents to be vey friendly and again we are very happy with our decision to send our son there.

Krista Ostrom: My daughter is in her second year at TCGIS, and we couldn't be happier with this fantastic school! This past year the school moved to their new permanent home in the Como neighborhood, and is now located about a block from Como Lake, which allows for some great nature hikes and after school organized trips to Como Zoo. The PTO is fantastic, and we've made some great connections with other families. The test scores are far better than our neighborhood school, and my daughter is engaged and actively learning every day. Most importantly, she loves her school, loves her teachers, and is excited to be able to speak two languages.

Kristi Johnson: For example, this Halloween the kids did a flash mob in their costumes and danced to Thriller. hilariousThe parent community is very involved through the PTO in financially supporting the school but even more so building community between our families.And everyone asks me "Do I need to know German to send my kid to TCGIS?" No, no and no. I don't know German and it's ok. But just be warned if you have more that one kid attending TCGIS they will have a secret language to talk together behind your back that you won't understand ;

Minneapolis College of Art and Design: what do users think?

Aric Bertram: Went for the annual art sale. 2023 had 500 artists and 6,000 pieces of art. $2,000 max price, $50 average.

Daniel Appleby: The campus; the studios, the faculty, the students, the Art, are all first rate! And then the is the location. Adjacent to the Minneapolis institute of Art or MIA which is a wonderful art museum, right down down the street from the Walker Art Center which is an excellent contemporary Art Museum/resource complete with the late great Siah Armajani’s fantastic poetry bridge that takes one over and or back from the lovely Lorring Park where there is much to see and do.

kinderhood: They always seem like they are art minded when I see the students.

noreen swan: So much beautiful art to see all for free!

Laura Giovannini: MIA spectacular exhibition on Japanese textiles

Josh Fay: This is my favorite place in the cities. Endless amounts of art. Impossible to take it all in the same day

Minneapolis College: what do users think?

Anthony Urban: @ 1501 Hennepin Ave. S.

Emma Koetz: Excited to start school! Everyone was extremely helpful and answered any questions I had!

Kamilla Harris: I'm A Past Student And A Current Student. I Love This College. Everyone Is So Nice And Helpful. The Staff Is Very knowledgeable And Respectful Of My Pronouns And Respectful Of Me As A Person.

Deea Elliott: Staff and faculty is very nice, instructors are very understanding and flexible. Online classes are easy to follow. Very convenient location large campus and they a have basic needs support center open every Wednesday, they pass out food and personal hygiene items. Parking is my only problem here other than that very great school.

Laur en: bad egg teachers

Yarrow LaBeau: and now that I am on my 2nd semester, here's what I have to say.First the bad-The gym is a bit sad. There needs to be more equipment and I heard they used to offer yoga classes but since Covid they have not 😢The staff here are so supportive and it truly feels like this school puts the community in community College. My teachers and admin and other staff have been supportive while I have been dealing with a stalker/abuse situation. I feel fully supported and safe here.I also highly highly recommend the herbalism program because it's one of a kind and the teacher, Erica, is incredibly passionate and enthusiastic about the subject.

Giotto Troia: This review is only for the weight room. The music is horrible. I don't want to listen to jazz music when I'm working out. The attendant on duty said they don't have access to the music... I doubt that. The equipment is a bit old but usable and has a good variety. It's missing some machines like leg extension and some specialized benches. But overall a good selection for a free-for-students gym and convenient if you're already on campus.

Malik McDowell: Excellent place to learn and grow. Great place to update your skills, I would say upgrade!

Sevgi Sezen: Loved being there,Its a feeling to be ready for your new type of life on your career path.Just effort from your side to do homework and then you'll be able to success. My recommendations.

Leigh Miller: I both work and attend school here and I love doing both!!!!!

Minnesota Thunder Academy: what do users think?

Abby Andrusko: Our experience with MTA has been transformative for our U10 daughter. The atmosphere fostered by the program is incredibly positive and encouraging, providing the perfect platform for her to thrive. With each training, she becomes more confident as a player, thanks to the expert guidance of the coaches who lead with both skill and kindness. The coaches' dedication to the players' growth, not just as athletes but as individuals, is truly commendable. We have been impressed with how well-run the organization is as a whole. The communication platforms are efficient & effective. We have been really pleased with how the Juniors Director leads the program. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive & motivated atmosphere for their child's development. With MTA, you're not just joining a program; you're joining a community that celebrates growth and teamwork at every turn. We are so glad we found MTA!

Lisa Cortez: My daughter has been with this club since she was 5/6 years old. We are now coming up on her senior year! What a milestone this has been for her! This club has been nothing but supportive! She has loved every single coach & had no inquiry to go to another club! MTA for life!!! Lisa Cortez

Christopher Wall: My son has been with MTA over 2 years now from Thunderbolts to comp team. He's had great support all the way and his current coach, Mark Jacobs has been fantastic at teaching his team skills and tactics. Personally he's been a great support to a more timid player and was an outstanding addition to the MTA coaching staff.

Erich Weiss: Amazing program that allows your child to play outside their comfort zones while learning thru both their mistakes and successes!! Coaches are truly focused on helping your child be the best they can be while cultivating a great team first mentality! First year family to the program and can admit have seen lots of growth in my daughters play. As they have also grown to assure for success for the program it would be awesome to see some opportunity for maybe some open soccer times especially in the winter months now with WP being their home. This I feel could be a valuable asset to the development of the kids because their is no better opportunity to just getting out and playing for fun with all talent levels in just a relaxed environment. And hopefully as time goes there can be a better way to drop off and pick up at WP. But besides those two small wishes I can safely say the MTA program is one for those looking to bring their game to another level. Coaches are amazing and the community is strong!

Kai Halbersma: Great club! Great coaching and environment!

Larissa R: A great place! My son started last fall and has improved a lot since then! The coaching staff is great! The location and scheduling is very convenient, and the club communication is clear and concise.

Ashley Bliss: We have loved being a part of MTA over the last 2 years. Coach Brian and Sal are great role models for our son. Highly recommend!

Mark Ringo: MTA is the best! Great club, knowledgeable coaches, excellent training, and great facilities. Both of my girls have improved their soccer skills and love playing and representing MTA! Go Thunder!

Matthew Stahl: , the leadership above and beyond playing the game of soccer has been much appreciated. The program is also very organized, making our lives much easier to plan out our family schedule in advance of upcoming seasons.

Jacob Simms: Our experience with MTA has been absolutely exceptional! Cannot say enough wonderful things about all things MTA!

Carmen Wamre: MTA is a world-class organization that we have been part of for 10 years. Some of our fondest memories will be in an MTA uniform, field or on a road trip. The coaching staff is exceptional and professional and care about all the players. The soccer is second to none in Minnesota at MTA!!!

Michael Scrafford: Our 13 year old moved to MTA this past year and has absolutely loved it. From the great coaching and player development to the amazing facilities to the high level ECNL competition and community-feel of MTA, we have been thrilled with the move. Go Thunder!

Sarah M: Don’t get me wrong, we LOVE MTA. This is our first year with our 12 year old daughter. She has benefited from excellent coaching, great teammates and wonderful parental support. Her dad and I feel that MTA is staffed by outstanding coaches who deeply care about our daughter’s development as a player and person. There are a few things we suggest to improve. The parking situation at Winter Park is a headache. Considering the price we pay to play, we’d love to see more opportunities for open soccer so our daughter can play with and learn from other girls, boys, and older players. Also, more opportunities for one-on-one training would be appreciated.

Todd Voss: From the first day my daughter was challenged to push herself outside of her comfort zone and to play at a high level but also warmly welcomed into the club by the coaches, staff and teammates. The coaching is fantastic and the opportunities to develop as a player and compete at a high level are amazing. The culture is top-notch, too.

Jennifer Frantz: MTA is a magnet, drawing the best players to join together in a community that supports their internal drive for excellence.

Sean Connor: We have had a great experience with MTA for our two older sons. We have really enjoyed Matt’s leadership of the boys soccer program and his approachable style as a parent. We have also appreciated coach Austin‘s leadership of our oldest son’s soccer team. Austin has created a great positive culture on the team, communicates well with the parents and teaches fundamental skills to the boys like passing and keeping your shape on the field. I appreciate that MTA teaches boys and girls to play soccer with hard work and teamwork.

Patty1204: My daughter started soccer this year and LOVES it because of all of the awesome coaches... MTA s THE BEST!

Josefina Landrieu: We've had a great experience since joining MTA's ECNL Boys program. The organization and quality of the club is top notch. You are always informed and players have access to great coaches and facilities.

Jaime Erbach: Great bar downstairs!!

TJ: Fun taste of Germany

D. Thomas Griep: Christmas gathering.

Dan Brown: Great place, nice people. We'll definitely come again. They have German classes, the library, many rooms, one is for dancing and classes, the ground floor is like a German pub with all those flags on top of the ceiling. There's a children playground outside too. And also this place is bigger inside so don't judge it when you're outside.

Todd sands: Good food, good music and a polka dancing instructions,

Brian Fitch: St Paul Oktoberfest 2023 was very nice. Entertainment was fun, good food, got there early enough so parking was not to bad. Best piece was the attending people, we sat next to a very pleasant and engaging couple. We shared experiences of travel, food and personal tips.

Bryan Roeser: Great Octoberfest, friendly staff

Alex Chen: Lovely Oktoberfest event!

Stephanie Hemenway: Where to start. The history this place had was amazing 🤩 the cake we bought was by far amazing and delicious

The International School of Minnesota: what do users think?

Daniel: huh

Heidrun Dame: Excellent school where kids are always encouraged and supported. Teachers are fantastic, they have high expectations and make learning fun. Our son went here from KG to HS graduation. We picked ISM over other, more famous private schools, liked their approach to teaching and it offered by far the best foreign language program and the best after school program. Very happy with our experience.

Apurva Balaji: The school is amazing! The teachers are really nice and helpful, and it’s really easy to set up times to meet with them one on one. Before school and after school there are so many activities, and you can always have fun with friends! I have attended since preschool and I’ve always had a great time!

Jianzhong Qian: ISM is a very nice school for foreign students.

Sam Elgore: Both our kids went to and graduated from ISM. One of the best decisions I have ever made. I couldn't recommend the school high enough. Kids grow in an integrated, diverse and safe environment that fosters learning and exploring.

Jason Cole: Excellent school. Excellent staff.

Kayte Haagenson: Great programs, strong curriculum, supportive staff. Quality education all around!

Zachary Forester: Excellent place of education.

Mary Sears: My Daughter has been a student here for the last 10 years and is receiving an excellent education.

Emmanuella Urumedji: The school is absolutely amazing

I will recommend anyone who is considering to go back to school by selecting Capella University as their first place of option..... Great school, nice staff members!!!! #EgweJohn..
