This class was just the right amount of hands-on working with the glass, and the instructor helping, so that the end product didn't look like a kindergarten art project. In fact, what we got to take home is a very nice glass pumpkin which we can definitely say we had a hand in making. Carla was a great instructor, as well as being very friendly and entertaining. Overall, it was a great experience, and we might return to really learn the intricacies of glass-blowing.

4worldlovers: At Wee Bop music we aim to introduce babies, toddlers and preschoolers to the joy and intellectual stimulation of music through participation in singing, movement, instruments, and socialization with other families. In addition, we provide opportunities for parents to socialize and build community with other families.
There’s a special magic that happens in Wee Bop music classes. It’s so much more than singing Itsy Bitsy Spider and dancing the Hokey Pokey (although we love them).
Learn (or re-learn) socialization with other kids, sharing, taking turns, and circle time.
But most importantly, early music education maximizes your child’s aptitude for learning music later. Are you imagining piano lessons or a band instrument in your child’s future? Exposing them to music from birth to age 5 gives them the most solid chance of learning that instrument later!
One of the bonuses of group music classes is the community you get to build with other families. Many friendships have been forged during a Wee Bop class session and it’s lovely to make those connections of support.

Sarah Huntley: I recently signed my son up for youth hip hop and he loved the class. A youth coordinator sent out a welcome message as well which was very kind and unexpected. I have taken Adult belly dance, capoeira, African fusion and hip hop at Zenon in the past. I am happy that my son is looking forward to a dance future with the school.
Sasha Bariffe: I really appreciate this dance school. They're not offering the class that I wanted this season so taking it elsewhere, but really hopeful their offerings this winter are a better match so I can get back here.

Margaret Miller: Absolutely the best dance class I have ever taken. I honestly don't know how they pull off having so many instructors per student but it is magical. You get a lot of individualized tips and everyone is so encouraging. And I always feel challenged at just the right level, so I'm always improving. Basically I love this place and think everyone should try it.

Greg Kellogg: Great place to learn how to create with clay! They have implemented a great safety plan into their learning structure so that everyone can learn the joys of pottery! The facility is clean and well organized. The tools used are disinfected after each class/usage. Everybody and their work stations are well spaced out. The instructors are very knowledgeable and skilled in this art form. I would highly recommend this studio for a beginner like me. Not everything thrown comes out as planned but it's such a challenging yet rewarding process to learn.
Lawrence MacAlpine: I love what Jennie is doing for the community. I love the vibe and purpose of this studio. The talent here is on point. If you want to learn ceramics, this is THE place in south MPLS.
David Wittman: Great place. Good atmosphere. Dedicated staff and instructors. Classes offered at a variety of times. Worth a stop if you're interested in throwing a pot on a wheel or just looking to buy some high quality products.
Kelli Klein: If you feel the slightest interest in throwing clay and trying your creative side, GET IN HERE. Supportive, friendly, casual and therapeutic. Release the artist in you! The single star ratings are uninformed. It's called The Workshop - not the Gift Shop. If "walk-ins" feel unnoticed, it's because everyone is deeply immersed in the gratifying exercise of creating - which, if I'm not mistaken, is the primary goal of the space.

Levi Purdum: I enjoyed the experience. The staff were friendly and open to conversation. I'm not an artist and certainly an amateur observer of art who greatly enjoyed the leading questions and engagement when offered by staff. In particular the lanky young employee who politely informed me of their water bottle policy before I entered the first exhibit also proved to be a wealth of information. In the very next room another employee successfully challenged me into recognizing a word in what largely appeared to be a jumble of chaos. The statue garden was fantastic and actively enjoyed by children adding a practical value to the inherent aesthetic value.
