Recognizing that our students come to us with diverse educational backgrounds, we offer multiple degree-completion track options. The Program offers admission to students for both Fall and Spring semesters. Applications are accepted at any time and are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Each October the Program of Mortuary Science offers scholarships to current students. In past years, scholarship awards have ranged form $500 to $5,000. Applications are accepted from annually October 1st - 15th!

Eugene Burke: Allison was a superb aid and is to be congratulated for her easy manner as most helpful and genuine aid in the process. A first rate place, process, and surrounding.
Guy Bristol: For the most part the Cremation Society of MN did a good job with cremation, filings, and death certificate. The associate missed our email ordering an urn and then ordered it without any engraving. That caused some delay, but it looked great once corrected.

Jeanette West: They were extremely easy to work with. I live almost 2 hours away by car and they came to pick up my husband's body. For those who are closer, they have a chapel where you can hold a service. Everyone I spoke with was kind and I did not feel as if expensive portions were pushed on me, as had been the case with other places we have used for our of state family. I plan to prepay for my own arrangements and will use them myself.

What I really liked is that they correspond to you on several important matters. A checklist of sorts that need to be completed when a loved one passes. They also have resources available for grief, and steps to take after a loved one passes. They take care of getting death certificates as well for you, so you can focus on yourself and family going through mourning process.

Wilde Starr: Simple and to the point which in reality was a blessing in itself. This isn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done nor was it difficult. It was just a bit emotional, not enough to cause an anxiety attack but planning your end isn’t something to take lightly. My advisor helped put me at ease every step of the way.

When they called me to pick her ashes up, the office was warm and peaceful. I had no confusion or problems - this was a very easy and organized process. Thank you and your team for being open to considering some upgrades to your communication and planning practices that will further help to regulate and reduce issues of family drama that is unnecessary and unwanted during a time of mourning. Everyone understand that laying someone to rest is just as much a lucrative business as it is an emotional moment; however, money should never outweigh proper business practices and privacy parameters. Who signs the papers is who gets the say. No objections, corrections, or avoidance. I would highly suggest adding a pre-service planning session in which the service program is discussed and made clear by the next of kin, so that no changes are to be made the day-of, regardless of who anyone claims to be or what money they offer. All details of the service are to be reviewed by the next of kin and/or the person who signs the paperwork for payment. No information to anyone else is to be given over the phone. Route the callers to the next of kin/paper signers. People are slick. Do not allow a dollar bill to cloud your better judgement. The strife that no-thinking causes lasts long after Estes is removed from the equation. Please be more available on the day of the services and please confirm the details with the next of kin in advance. Notwithstanding, thank you for helping with the paperwork and for not making it a fearful experience. lastly, thank you for representing communities of color in Minneapolis.

Diamond: Very nice place for funeral services, but their virtual services need some work. You have to continuously refresh your screen. Very little audio sound!Screen keep freezing!; circling in the center. And it wasn't just my computer. Multiple other family members reported the same problem. I didn't get to enjoy seeing my families funeral services.

Rocco Schinigoi: When I found out my cousin passed away, I was in complete shock as he was only 52 years old. He didn't have much family left, he also didn't have much money. He had put me down as the next of Kin, so I knew I had to do everything I could to give him a proper burial, but I didn't know where to start because I had limited funds. The cemetery recommended Billman-Hunt and I am so glad I went with that recommendation. Rob at Billman Hunt knew exactly what I needed to do and exactly what to do to keep the costs down. He made the process so simple as he did most of the leg work for me and saved me a bunch of money in the process. I would highly recommend them as they went far above my expectations and truly did everything he could to help me get this done. Thank you so much Rob for all the support I truly appreciate it.

Athena Parks: Everything was left for me to figure out with no road map. I was lost, never had to plan the next steps after the passing of a relative.....AND to be in a different state! I made one last call for the evening to Billman-Hunt to inquire about cremation services expecting to be rushed off the phone or even better...a voicemail. But instead I was greeted with a warm helping hand and a solution by the end of the call. Just that easy, a plan after my first call. Where other funeral companies treat your loved one as a price tag or number.....Billman-Hunt did not and made us their priority, even during the holidays!!! I dealt with Rob Jr. He answered all my questions, was sincere and knowledgeable. I walked away sad I had to go through this but comforted it was placed in the very capable hands of Billman-Hunt.If you are still reading and trying to decide if this is the company to go with.....stop reading the comments and give them a call, you will NOT be disappointed.

Denise Irey: Everyone was so caring and nice from planning my mom’s funeral to the actual day of her funeral. I even got a text asking how I was doing a couple weeks after her funeral. It was so nice of them to take the time to check on me.

Valerie Little: In my experience, they have a caring, dedicated staff who are truly there to serve families and friends. It is a spacious and comfortable space to honor your loved ones.
Sue Thrun: They were and have been so amazing! I’m so grateful for all they did when my significant other, Fridley Fire Chief Mike Spencer left this life to go meet Jesus. They did such an amazing job with EVERYTHING! I can not express how much I appreciate them! The way they handled everything, the way they decorated, memorial cards, and not to mention the way they truly made you feel like part of their family! If you want a beautiful celebration for your loved one, go see them, you will not be disappointed!

All the people we worked with were so considerate and willing to do what we wanted. I think we brought 5 baskets full of things we wanted set up and they loved it. It was the most special way to remember my mom. We walked into the Chapel in awe and couldn’t help but to get emotional. Everything they do for you and your loved one that passed away was above and beyond any of our predictions. Very well done with some extra touches that made it so special. Courtney Meister: One can never be prepared or know what to expect in planning a parent’s or a loved ones service. Working with Kozlak-Radulovich very recently for planning my father’s celebration of life, took all the confusion, uncertainty and stress off during what was a very emotional and trying time. Things we hadn’t even thought about were simply just taken care of by them. Nothing went unnoticed or taken care of. I even remember saying to Danielle “I don’t feel like I am doing anything…!” We still helped assist in the process and planning each step of the way. However, their amazing efforts and supports gave me and my siblings the time we needed to be with each other and tend to other tasks that needed to be completed. From start to finish, Kozlak-Radulovich was right there each step. I cannot begin to thank Kozlak-Radulovich enough for taking care of my siblings and I and helping navigate through what could have and never resulted in turbulent waters. An amazing job well done on their part!

With each funeral I walked into the room and was extremely touched that the room told the story of my loved ones life. Jim Carl: Danielle and Nick were awesome in regards to the preparations for our moms funeral. Cora and Kat did a great job in keeping us informed of everything and taking care of all the little details. Anytime we called it was not a problem, and the setup of the room with all the video screens was absolutely wonderful. The extras like the personalized guest book and the memory card with the word find was truly a surprise and brought more tears to our eyes. We would highly recommend anyone to this facility.
