4worldlovers: I grew up in a small town in southern Wisconsin as the middle of five children where my father and grandfather ran a successful small business. I was active in athletics from childhood - competing with my older brothers through my college years and beyond. I've taken the experiences I had as the son of a small business owner and a teammate in competition as a springboard for successfully partnering with the neighbors in my community to help them reach their goals.

I came to Edward Jones 12 years ago because I felt the firm shared many of the values that I've held dearly my whole life. I've held various roles within the company and in the community over the years. One of my favorites has been serving as an election judge in recent years.

When not at work, I spend a lot of time partnering with my wife, Thea, in corralling our two young sons and our two golden retrievers, who are all very active and enjoy the outdoors. We enjoy walks, playing in the yard, boating, golfing and visiting parks and zoos. Sometimes I'm fortunate enough to be given a morning or evening pass from dad duty and explore my other passion, musky fishing.
