Amanda Van Wye: We got this sweet girl when she was 12 weeks old from Stone Ridge. She has the exact temperament as Heather described in her videos. Very sweet, low key and high attachment to her family. She is one of our very best decisions as a family. We are first time puppy parents and had a lot of questions which were all answered and with patience. Stone Ridge also offered an opportunity for families to come together and get their puppies and dogs for a walk last fall. There were easily over 50 dogs there and all with amazing temperaments..zero aggression and even minimal barking!!! We got to meet one of River’s sisters and her adoptive parents as well. Our dog, Bear, was and is the best tempered. He has a stunning blocky head and has been very healthy. Any time I have had questions in raising him, the breeder has been helpful. Definitely would recommend. Do not let the reviews of rudeness discourage you. You will be very happy!

Steve was great about communicating when we had questions or concerns up until whelping and Cassi's transition from momma to us was seamless. I met Steve at the breeder's house and my kids had a great time with the rest of the litter before we took ours home. We even got to meet Gil before we left as Steve brought him to the breeder.

Once the pups were born and owners found they set up a Facebook page and added pictures and videos of the puppies tagging the new owners name. They answered any questions quickly and explained the kind of food the pups were eating. Also giving a starter bag of food. They made this process seamless and effortless. He was also helpful when it was time to coordinate and communicate with the mother's owner so that we could establish a direct relationship with them after the litter was born. Bob Mickelson: We had only started thinking about and looking for a Brittany pup. It became quickly apparent there weren’t really any available. One of my calls was to Steve Deger, he indicated that he had bred his dog to another and there may be a pup available due to circumstances with the intended buyer. He called the other dog owner and got back to me with contact info.We called Karla Holmgren right away. That call was made close to noon on a Saturday and we drove up to meet Karla to pick up a female pup we named Syren about 3:00 that afternoon. So in the course of 3-4 hours we went from early exploration of getting a dog to having one.She has been a great dog and she and my wife get along so well. Better than expected. We have a grandson staying with us and I believe Syren has helped open some doors for him as well. Myself, I am looking forward to hunting over a good dog. Something that ceased 35 years ago when I had to give up a Lab due to a move.We were invited to a private Facebook page for all the litter mates. On that page the new puppy owners have shared a lot of what their dogs do and how they behave and some fun things the pups have done. Syren like her litter mates, has a like for humans, a desire to seek out birds and retrieve and a host of other desirable traits and we couldn’t be more happy.Syren will lay in her bed in my office during the day and gets active around 1:00 which always seems to be when I have a conference call. But overall very behaved.We took her to a doggie day care one day and she was the hit. To brag- they put the dog photos on Facebook and she had a 100+ likes. None of the others had even half that many... I feel like a parent even bringing that up but it was funny to see. You should have seen the “report card” they did for her.....So to Steve and Karla thank you, we appreciate what you have done. Nice to be part of something more personal and not just a dog sale. Steve's communication was great... connecting us with Karla and answering all the questions we had. Karla is an amazing person. She was always eager to talk, answer questions, send photos and videos, facetime and allow visits. We were able to visit Karla and meet Gemma and the litter @ week 6 in her home... we spend 2 hours talking with Karla and playing with the puppies. Our Vet told us Keto was "perfect" ... healthy, strong and happy. Keto has been amazing... great genetics, even tempered, very trainable, super smart and lots of fun! His instincts began coming thru right from the start... he's pointing, exploring, sniffing... he's bold, curious and smart. Keto is a truly awesome dog! I've enjoyed meeting all the other littermate owners as well... I'm looking forward to staying in touch and watching Keto and all his brothers and sister grow up to be great Brittanys!

We had an amazing experience as first time fosters with Under Dog Rescue! Emily, Kirsten and Shannon were always available to answer any questions we had regarding our first, precious foster puppy. My husband and I were amazed at the quality of food provided for the dogs, all supplies and the wonderful vets that care for the rescue dogs! To say we were impressed would be an understatement. Our precious second Foster became our Foster fail!
