The Exchange & Alibi Lounge: what do users think?

Olivia: This is probably my favorite club ON A FRIDAY to go to in mpls. The service here is HORRIBLE regarding buying a booth and bottles. I got a booth for my birthday in Nov and we arrived around 1130pm and received the bottles for the booth at 1:15am.... the club closes at 2??? i was PISSSSSED!!!!!! OTHER THAN GETTING A TABLE........... going as a normal civilian is decent. theres a number you can text to get in for free before 11. If you come late expect to wait in a line and possibly it being at capacity. and from 10 to 11 they have 2-4-1's so thats nice as well. On fridays they do RNB night and its probably the best selection of music. Its not just RNB on fridays but they promote it to be but they definitely play rap.

Don PUKAL: A busy club in the heart of Minneapolis.

Jaí Beauty: I think it's a good club , just needss A BETTER Dj. we can listen to the early 2000s but dayum it's to much of it.Service: 3/5 …

Sy Dias: Great experience, very lively.

Bar Fly: what do users think?

tavonne grayson: Wonderful place

Liz Crandall: I think they do a great job of booking awesome performers here. When I see a musician I adore is coming to town, this is the place that booked them. I know I can always look at their line up for great shows. They could do a bit more to revamp the old movie theatre setting and make the environment a bit more fun. I would add that while I was injured and using crutches, the staff were extremely accommodating and made sure I had elevator access all night long - I really appreciated this. On two visits they did this for me and were very patient and helpful about it, even if I just wanted to step out to smoke. Always amazing music and great performances here.

Tyler K: Saw Street Sects here. Nice dive bar atmosphere. Some seating. Would see other shows here. Can't say I'd have any other desire to come here though.

Syed Ali: I dunno why this place has such bad reviews. It's pretty good! Also fox stevenson rocked!

REV Ultra Lounge: what do users think?

Raul Pernalete: Atmosphere: 4/5

Bradley George: Party it up! U know the drill!

John Mason: . That said, I LOVED IT!!!My GF had never been to a rave-like scene before. Back in the day

Sarah Ager: Small basement club. Rating it low because they could improve the lighting. It’s too centered but they should make the lights also go where the vip tables are too.

maxwell samuel: Met a former Green Bay lineman here. When I shook his hand, it was so much bigger than mine that he was able to snap his fingers with my hand inside. It's crazy coz I'm like 6'2"...

satheemuah: Small but good

Club Underground: what do users think?

James Simmons: Been a minute since I’ve been here, but Josh the Meat Beast poured me the best damn Manhattan I’ve had in 10 years…no hyperbole. Last thing I expected at a rock show in a basement. See ya again real soon!

Katelyn Midnight: a tradition i had almost forgotten! The food both nights was delicious bar food, chicken strips, cheese curds and the next night the prime rib sandwich with a rue. I will not forget the fun we had for a long while and I welcome when we return. Thank you all - Staff, Entertainment, Patrons! It was wild fun 😂

dave hoover: Preferable for local shows

Victor Vang: Great place to go clubbing and get together.

Khadijo Ibrahim: Interesting for sure

Benson Benson: Monday Night Comedy Show is a must!

Luis Edgardo Rodriguez: Good places to socialize with you guys

Dorothy Billmeier: Interesting set up. Dark areas which could be good or bad. Smaller than I thought. Great music

Brian Wene: Club Underground is a great live music venue. I've seen many of my favorite local bands play here. Bands such as The 99ers, Active Measures, Les Speedos, Fatal Kaliber, and The Grand Machine. Do stop by and experience a great space with fantastic bands that are usually local talent. Also, a piece of advice:Chat with *Any* of the bartenders because they are great people who have fun conversations!See you at a future show!!

Gay 90's Minneapolis: what do users think?

Kortney Mayer: So much fun, cages and stripper poles you can dance on too. The bartenders were so nice and their fits were 🔥

kelsie: I been going to the 90’s since i been 18 i took a little time away cause i had moved away but i came back and it felt like nothing changed i feel extremely safe there security does great work on handling things they need to. I go out with my girl’s every now and then. Bartenders are wonderful. Staff just in general are pretty great. I have never not felt safe when being out with friends.

Madyson Wilkie: We almost missed out because of the previous reviews!!! Do NOT miss out 😂lol. It was such a great time. Don’t do anything you aren’t supposed to and you’ll have a blast. I personally didn’t have a problem with security they actually navigated me to the next mini parts of the club, super nice people if you’re nice back! Don’t act a fool and you won’t have any issues. Tip your bartenders! I will definitely be back ❤️3 I was definitely skeptical about getting ripped off but everyone was amazing

Isabella Stone-Dahl: so he had that taken away before entering and he picked it up as we were leaving.Upon walking in, the vibe was chaotic in a good way. The bathroom was fine, no soap though, and low stall doors which had been mentioned before.Drinks were overpriced but what do you expect in downtown Minneapolis, if you want to save money stay home.I can say that if you want to go, go. There were many different bars with different vibes. Don't be dumb and vape in the bathrooms/give your underage friends drinks. That'll get you kicked out. There is a coat check which I didn't know about, for four jackets to be checked it was $16.Go and have a good time! Be mindful and enjoy yourself.

The Front Cafe: what do users think?

Globby Mobby: The Front is a classic dance spot in NE. Has a certain vibe that’s not for everyone, but it’s a gem

Lee: Favorite place to dance!

Tobias Mösle: Went here for their Halloween party. Although it was very busy the servers did their best to serve everyone in time. Also they require proof of vaccination which made our group feel very safe. We all had a great time and loved it.

Fabiola Aguilar (Sparklingblobfish): Great place to dance and they take proof of vax very seriously which makes it even better!

The Saloon: what do users think?

Tristan Klausegger: food and $5 Absolut drinks. ]We had a great "bango" host and great service from the bar and kitchen. This can definitely be a regular night out going forward!

Nova Levi: ! Roaming staff might be a bit crabby depending on the day. Mixed drinks will range from $7-$12 each depending on what's in it. Overall a great place though I have had some bad moments there, it happens. Surprisingly, never had the food; not had the chance to yet.

Nick Frandsen: Service: 5/5

Bee: Nice music and vibes.

Dan K: Saloon is an institution. Gay nightlife hot spot for drag, dancing and mingling. I have been going to the bar frequently since my 21st but the only criticism is the music in the main dance floor on the weekends. Whenever I bring my friends to dance it is always repetitive EDM/house music that isn’t very danceable and sounds similar and gives us a headache after a couple hour and a few drinks. If you want new and old pop bops that get people excited I would suggest Jetset. The physical space and atmosphere of the saloon can’t be matched and will obviously be still a popular spot for me.

7: There’s bats right outside!

Richie J: Benny the bartender if you are reading this you are amazing! My boyfriend and I wanted to go to a bar for our 5 year anniversary and I picked this one. It was our first time going to a LGBTQ bar and we loved every bit of it. Even at 7pm when they started to play our favorite show- Friday Night Smackdown. Music was great and the people were amazing. We had fun! I had 4 or 5 drinks which came out to be $24.00! I highly recommend this place! Super fun!

Seth Viebrock: Always will be a special place in my heart

Sam Rose: small doses.

Dakota: what do users think?

Beau Larson: Great musical guests, great food and terrific ambiance.

Doug Pletcher: .

Tyler Verding: Great food, cool set up, good music, great service. All around a fantastic experience, will be back for sure!

Jay Smelkinson: This was my first time at this venue. It's a very chill place with everyone sitting down to watch the show. The food was good, especially the broccolini. I sat in the upstairs and had a great view of the stage.

Billy Cripe: The music was great. View from the back of the 2nd floor was restricted so be aware of that. They seemed understaffed because service was very slow.

Colin Monette: If you want to experience what every good big city should have at least one of, a great curated jazz club, check the Dakota. The ambiance is dimly lit and cool. Bit of highbrow, classy. It’s dinner and a show and it attracts world class performers alike.

Noby Powell: Great food and music! Intimate venue.

Nomes: Here for drinks with my softball team.It definitely is a cool, safe space. If you’re a gay guy! Kind of a bummer for the lone lesbian, but I still had a good time.Ladies, next!

Tom Anderson: When I am visiting Minneapolis, this is my hangout. Nice staff and strong drinks. Too strong for me but hey that's just me. One suggestion. Drop the Sunday musical tunes and bring back the 1980s music format. I miss Gregg the bartender who passed away...always had a big smile.

First Avenue: what do users think?

Danielle P: This was a drive by visit, and I took a few pics... would love one day to actually go to a concert at this location. First Avenue is Minneapolis' historic nightclub, made famous by Prince's Purple Rain shot in 1983.First Avenue opened in a former Greyhound Bus terminal in downtown Minneapolis on April 3, 1970. Originally called The Depot, the club brought in prominent national acts. Prince often performed at First Avenue along with other popular artist.Don't forget to see the gold Prince star on the outside of building. Silver stars commemorated key artists who had played at First Avenue. Prince Rogers Nelson died of on April 21, 2016. Its worth a stop if you get a chance to visit Minneapolis.

The Armory: what do users think?

Jeremy Hop: The venue is beautiful inside and out. The acoustics inside l, amazing and hands down the best mid sized venue downtown Mpls.

Dawn Roggenkamp: great venue

Pat Goff: are set up well. Great security at entrance.. big parking ramp nearby. Don’t hesitate to see a show here!

j w: Amazing venue that always provides incredible experiences for its patrons!!! 10/10 experience and would highly recommend everyone attend an event here!

Prateek Trivedi: One of the larger indoor live music venue in twin cities. Pretty central in downtown Minneapolis with a few parking lots around. Great acoustics and overall feel. Plenty of bars around and clean rest roomsI attended Judas Priest show to a packed venue but never felt overcrowded except of the front - which is naturalI did not avail balcony/vip areas so cannot pass any feedback.Overall one of the nicer live music venue.

benjamin sande: It was alright, it was hot and there was nowhere to sit and sabaton only played 8 songs

Nathan Kittock: and the bathroom are clean and modern. Staff are friendly and organized. I'll definitely be going to more events here.

David Dittmer: My wife and I went to see Judas Priest and Sabaton here on Thursday, May 2nd. Had a club box right over the stage. The service and experience was top notch. We would certainly go to a concert again here.

Katie: Amazing experience!

Molly Fjetland: Such a great concert experience 😍

Michael Athman: Awesome concert venue!!!

Carl Wainman: Excellent venue, would recommend

Tony Senf: Got in line couple hours before doors opened and had awesome night

Adam Mitchell: The venue itself is quite larger and well ventilated with A/C to make your concert going experience better. It is located in downtown Minneapolis so navigating your way around may be difficult if you're not a local and parking can be scarce so plan ahead and try to prepay for parking when getting your tickets

Leo G: Great venue! Awesome sound and lighting!

james Lenthe: Awesome music venue. I will do more concerts here

Ms. Mercy: 10/10 experience every time I come here for a concert! I like that it feels like a big party since we’re all just standing around!

Skyway Theatre: what do users think?

Tina Columbus: The only issue was there were a lot of stairs.

Alex Inamagua (Alexito): Great venue for EDM artists

J P: Each and every single employee there is simply amazing. I needed accomodations, and they never made me feel uncomfortable about that. The sound is great, bathrooms are very clean, safe, and monitored. You can park really easily on the street, or the nearby parking garages.A+ venue.Since the event, I have also heard the artists' comment on what a great venue this was, and how accomodating all of the staff was to them also.

tony Smith: My absolute favorite venue in the twin cities. Wasn't rail, it's there. Need to sit, head upstairs. Perfect size for so many shows.
