CrossFit Kingfield: what do users think?

John Faughnan: . Love her playlist. It feels old school CrossFit, less digital and more analog. That’s a good thing. It’s just by the Greenway bike path and has excellent bike parking out front. It could use a bit more external signage, the door just has a stylized “CK”. The photo shows where to enter.

Chris Kissel: Highly highly highly recommend!!! my husband, and I were visiting from out of town, and had the privilege of dropping into classes and doing some personal training at Kingfield…Danny, the owner is a total pro, super experienced, collaborative, supportive, and all in all has built a really great community of people. The 4 coaches we worked with were all great — just a very competent, and collaborative vibe throughout the whole place. When you’re looking for your new home gym, or for a great place to drop into when you’re in town, we highly recommend Kingfield!!! Thank you so much Danny and team!!!

Chris Bowen: Was a member for 2.5 years. Great programming, welcoming atmosphere and made many life long friends due to the community created by the coaches and members.

Megan O'Connor: Great options for open gym and drop ins - will come back next time I’m in town.

Baibhav Bhattarai: I've been attending CrossFit Kingfield in Minneapolis for a year now, and I can confidently say that it has been a truly rewarding and life-changing experience. The gym's welcoming atmosphere and supportive community have played a significant role in my fitness journey, and I couldn't be happier with the progress I've made. The coaches at CrossFit Kingfield are second to none. They are not only knowledgeable and experienced, but they also genuinely care about each and every member. They pay close attention to everyone, regardless of skill level, and provide personalized guidance to help you reach your goals. As someone who started as a novice, I felt supported and motivated by the coaches from day one.The gym-goers at CrossFit Kingfield are equally supportive and encouraging. There's a strong sense of camaraderie, and everyone is eager to celebrate each other's accomplishments, big or small. This supportive environment has made a tremendous difference in my confidence and has pushed me to consistently challenge myself.CrossFit Kingfield has truly transformed my fitness journey, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their physical health, regardless of their experience level. The coaches and community will welcome you with open arms and inspire you to achieve your goals.

Caroline P: Great place to get fit! Fabulous classes, friendly teachers, accessible to almost all fitness levels.

Michael Straus: Attentive coaches and great comraderie. Highly recommend!

Ambyr Peterson: there because a trainer, Jack, was offering services to the program. I was VERY impressed with his professionalism, respect of not pushing the program, respect of my Little's health, us having fun and getting a great workout. Thanks to Jack - he's the best. He volunteered his time to a great program, gave us a great workout. We'll be back!!!

Mj Girl: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityBest gym ever plus great owner and coach’s. can’t describe everyone is nice, positive people also, glad I met Danny and the coach’s, life changing mentally and physically. I don’t think anyone would ever complain about this gym and it’s people ❤️.

Heidi Straus: It was great!

John Schultz: I have been a barbell club member for a while. Super friendly coaches with a lot of knowledge on training. Head coach is also a great olympic lifter. Helped me extensivly with the technique in the snatch and C/J. Members are great and supportive too.

Kyle Hannah: Running a gym is hard work and it takes a certain type of person to do it really well. One of the first things I told Danny was how impressed I was with his consistency. I have learned a lot from the coaches here. It's worth checking out.

Tangletown CrossFit: what do users think?

merlin camozzi: Nice box, was great to drop in here while I was in town. Thanks, Coach Tim!

Rob Evans: does a great job maintaining an excellent gym that will definitely make you stronger and more robust if you're willing to put in the time and regularly attend workouts! Definitely reach out to TangleTown Crossfit if you're in the Minneapolis area and looking for a great gym to join!!

Furqan Qureshi: Great vibe and an excellent music playlist during a workout.

Justine Heimer: The team that she has is amazing! Brian, Justine, Tim….they all love what they do and they push you to do your best while you’re there. When you’re new and nervous, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They make sure to do introductions at the beginning of most classes if there’s someone new there. My partner and I went consistently for a little over a year until we moved to the other side of town. I also went my entire pregnancy and they helped me modify when I needed, which helped me continue to go until I was 41 weeks pregnant. I am now at a place on this side getting a great workout, but missing the wonderful peeps of Tangletown.

Tim Gallagher: Had a FANTASTIC drop in experience here. Very responsive communication over email, and the community was very welcoming. The place was clean, well organized, equipment was in good shape and the coach Tim, ran a great partner workout. As an added bonus, they had cool shirts with the logo and location on it. Can't wait to sport that bad boy at my home gym. I'm already looking forward to dropping in again on my next visit.

Jakob Charles: Went for my first CrossFit class ever and it was great time and a nice facility. I would totally come back. Everyone is so nice to the newbies it makes you feel welcome.

Robert Palma: Great place to work out. Definitely 5 start place..

Josh DeLao: I was here in Minneapolis for work and did a drop in here at the gym. The owner, Teresa, was very professional and friendly at getting me set up to come in. They are taking all of the necessary precautions regarding COVID and I felt safe being at the gym. The people were all so welcoming and supportive. I even got an awesome t-shirt! Thanks so much Tangletown CrossFit! I will be back.

Brian Kohout: Great team that works with you to learn how to work out properly and not end in injury!

Jillian Kotz: I would never have thought I'd be a CrossFit gal...then I came to TTCF. The coaches, the community, the workouts - they all are what keep me coming back. Every day is a new challenge and I have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to push myself in new ways! I've never felt stronger or more fit.I was intimidated at first, but within one class felt so welcome and encouraged that it went out the window. I honestly don't believe you can find a more down to earth, welcoming and fun CF gym in the Twin Cities!

Saron Tesfay: . Can't say enough good things about the place.

Bethany Burzynski: Great programming and variety of class times. Drop-in welcome!

Top Gun Crossfit: what do users think?

Sebastian Erdelen: on vacation in Minneapolis - we had 2 drop ins - both were amazing. The energy is high, motivated trainer. They take time for your questions. Motivate you during the workout. This was our first drop-in in the US and it was great. If we come back we will definitely do another drop in.Love from Germany.Lynn and Sebastian

Hannah & Todd Brandon: This gym has great instructors and motivating energy! They customize the daily workout with tiers so everyone feels the challenge on their own level. The classes are small enough that the instructors can help everyone with weight lifting form and personal goals. I feel like I get a WAY better workout in an hour here than going to a gym with less guidance or bigger classes. 10/10 would recommend doing the intro classes

Carissa Tomlinson: If cross fit is your thing, check them out. Kind and responsive owner. Small, family-like atmosphere.

BoBaN: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityGreat place, great community! Owner is amazing, she responded to my e-mail within 2 minutes! Worth a vist and a membership!

Erick Conrad: My fiance and I really enjoyed our time at this box. This gym has a great sense of community and the coaches are genuinely committed to your health goals regardless of where you are at in your fitness or nutrition career. It's a great bargain when you consider the amount of investment the coaches have in your development.

Ryan: and their dedicated Olympic lifting classes. Lastly, there is no bar or judgement on your fitness level. They make it just about you getting better.

Jacquelyn Horstman: Wonderful gym! I just recently started going here, but love it. Fun to work out as a group

Anna Walker: They have a lot of free weights, which can be tough to find in this area. Super friendly staff and patrons that make for a fantastic environment as well.

Scott Rose: Sabertooth is one of the best gyms I've been to. It has a very supportive community and very knowledgeable coaches. The classes are fun and challenging. The coaches give great scaling options, so I never feel like I am doing exercises that are out of my skill level. The equipment and facilities are always clean. If you like group fitness classes, I would recommend giving the gym a try.

Kelly McGivern: . Unfortunately soon after joining, things in life went pear-shaped and I needed to cancel my membership. The good folks at Sabertooth were awesome and took care of my cancellation without issue. I know that most reviews are all about the classes and the gym

Jeremy Herzog: The trainers are really great at honing in on your technique. Also really friendly atmosphere and I appreciate the availability of equipment and the open gym feature

Toby C: putting groceries into the fridge or picking up my 3-year-old. The coaches have been very supportive of my goals and help me go at a pace I'm comfortable with. For example, when other members are doing full-blown pull-ups, coaches encourage me to do an alternate exercise that is in my wheelhouse. Whether you are a total beginner like me or someone with competitive aspirations, you'll be supported by the knowledgeable team at Sabertooth! Fwiw, Surprisingly, my favorite exercise was throwing the medicine ball against up the wall - not even kidding! If you are looking for a supportive environment, give Sabertooth a try!

Andrew Lund: or have been training for years.

Jacob Millage: Great members, great coaches, and a wonderful place to get better!

Henry Hobbs: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualitySabertooth fitness has a great community and fantastic coaches. Everybody at sabertooth fitness is helpful kind and very polite, overall it's just a great atmosphere and a place you will enjoy working out

The coaches are deeply insightful, friendly, patient, responsive, and unhesitating when individual coaching is needed. The atheletes who attend are welcoming and inspiring. I cannot imagine a better place to get and stay fit. Maximum stars, highest endorsement.

Ian Obert: Great community and great kids instructors! Doesn’t matter if you are just looking to get started or if you are a pro! Highly recommend

Kyle True: I joined Sabertooth back in June and haven’t looked back since. The gym offers a great community with members of all abilities. CrossFit St Paul: what do users think?

Stephanie Fiore: Dropped in today; first time at this CrossFit box. Excellent facility, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable coaches, and nice people. Plenty of equipment and the gym is clean and tidy. I’ve a bit out of shape and needed to scale the hell out of the workout; coaches were supportive and kind. Highly recommended. I’ll be back!

Shawn W: I dropped in here for a class and to recert my L-2. The coaching was great, the community was very friendly and welcoming. And they had room for my truck and trailer, lol. And I passed, so 5 more years!

Solcana Fitness: what do users think?

Kyle H: Wonderful gym! The trainers are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, attentive, and helpful. The people are incredibly nice, accepting, and supportive of a variety of body types and ability levels. The classes offer a great variety with lots of timeslots. There are also daily "recesses" where you can do whatever you'd like outside of a class. They're incredibly LGBTQIA+ accepting. I've always felt welcomed.

Terry J: You could not find a more welcoming community to start or continue your fitness journey. Whatever that may look like. Love everything about it thus far!

Claire Baglien: Words don’t express how much of a difference it makes to be surrounded by supportive people instead of gym bros. The community at Solcana gives me so much more than just incredible and fun workouts. I feel encouraged to do what’s best for my body and didn’t have to deal with toxic weight loss culture messaging. The coaches give so many alternative options for an exercise and I always learn something new.

Raven Dewitt: Nearly a year ago I signed up for a beginner class at Solcana and was terrified. I had never been to a gym before, and quite honestly was too intimidated to attempt lifting heavier weights on my own. The empower class gave me the confidence I needed to continue my journey and now, almost a year later you will find me at Solcana several times a week! The coaches are so encouraging and helpful and the community is incredible. I have never felt stronger in my life. Solcana is the best!

Darcie Vandegrift: Friendly gym with welcoming vibe for all. LGBTQ+, size and age diverse, women-owned. I’m in the 50+ class and have never worked out in such a supportive environment. Make extra time to find parking in the evening.

Elea Besse: Everyone was so welcoming and friendly! Had a great workout 💪

Morgan Bolstad: Truly the most comfortable and rewarding gym experience I've ever had! The coaches are patient, knowledgeable, kind, ability-inclusive, and helpful. I have loved every workout because of the atmosphere here

Ashley Stephens: I really enjoyed the virtual postpartum class. It was easy to fit in exercises at my own pace around newborn care. It gave me the foundation to get back into more vigorous exercise.

Brenda Falk: I am in town for work for two weeks and wanted to try out a local gym that might be similar to the classes I take at home. Solcana’s Sunday community class sounded perfect! Unfortunately when I arrived, I learned that the class had been cancelled - however, Cate and her team were so welcoming, it only made me more interested in joining their community! They graciously encouraged me to make myself at home in their gym and use their facilities on my own. This experience has me wishing I lived in Minneapolis - Solcana has clearly created something special here!

Katherine Shane: strength classes, etc. Incredibly body positve, to the degree that i have never heard any staff ever initiate a conversation about weightloss or muscle building unless someone asked first. Even then, its hardly ever mentioned. I have always felt welcome safe and included as short, wide, queer, late 50s woman with injury restrictions. It's one of the only places where I can say things like 'l am a power lifter' and no one looks at me like I am nuts, or 'oh that's so cute she thinks she can lift things' or like I am some super role model. I am just an athlete like anyone else.

Kelsey Callahan: Solcana is wonderful!!! The people who attend class, and the coaches are all amazing and supportive! If you are looking for a place to feel comfortable and welcome in your exercise journey Solcana is the place!

Mia Farinas: Best gym ever! I joined Solcana as a newbie to lifting, and my relationship to fitness has totally changed in my year as a member. For the first time in my life, I really look forward to going to the gym! The friendly, nonjudgemental environment and all of the modifications that coaches offer have been really helpful in making me feel comfortable to get started, and learning what my body needs. The community at Solcana is unbeatable– it is such a treat to work out with so many fun, kind people who are all working on their own personal goals.

Kris T: Being an older person brand new to this kind of fitness in 2021, I was a bit overwhelmed to try Solcana. It didn't take long to love it - the fitness AND the community. I felt welcomed and supported from day one. The coaches and the athletes make Solcana a thing of beauty supporting each other to do and be their best, whatever that looks like for them. I am inspired every time I come to Solcana because of how all types of bodies are welcomed and show up, getting strong and pushing through hard stuff together. Flash forward to 2+ years later: I am stronger, more comfortable and at home in my aging body, doing things I never thought possible, and I couldn’t be happier with the Solcana community. It’s definitely more than just a gym. Or perhaps what all gyms should aspire to be.

Naomi Osborn: I joined the beginners Empower Class and am so grateful I did! I have never worked out in a gym in my life and really felt that the program and coaches met me where I am. The Empower class has changed the way I see working out and how it fits into my life — I understand now that movement everyday is beneficial to your health and waiting for perfect circumstances is silly. I am continuing my fitness journey and have joined Solcana as a member to attend the BBF classes.

Collin Arnett: Solcana's pretty damn great. I've been going for years now, and their quality programming and coaches keep me going back. What distinguishes them from other "functional fitness" gyms?1. Inclusivity and body/ability positivity - It doesn't matter your shape or ability level. Coaches will find a way for you to start or continue your fitness journey2. Quality programming and coaching - I would routinely injure myself at my old gym. I juries are rare at Solcana because I'm taught how to do things the right way and programmed in a way that I don't hurt my back or strain my shoulder.3. LGBTQ and BIPOC centered - Solcana does their best to be a welcoming community for all and centers people who are typically marginalized. As someone who is privileged enough to benefit from our society, I'm happy to support and join a gym as an ally to all marginalized people.Hannah has built an amazing community, and I love it.

Nathan Hofferber: I can’t say enough how much I love this gym. The classes are amazing, the coaches are incredible, and most importantly the community around the gym is unbeatable. Easily the best gym I’ve been to.

Sarah Ryan: I feel really grateful to have found this space. I’ve been immediately welcomed to the community with warmth and have been encouraged to be my strongest and happiest self. This gym aligns with my values in supporting strength and training without any emphasis on restriction, diet, and weight loss. I’m excited for the growth and gains this space will guide me to!

Maximilian Homstad: Been going to this gym for almost 2 years now, and it is like no other. I love the community I’ve found here, and the strength-based group classes have been gamechanging! I never thought I would like group classes, but the accountability has kept me coming back consistently. The coaches here are knowledgeable, compassionate, and always willing to adapt movements to something that will work for your body. If you are looking for a body-neutral, queer/queer friendly gym, this is the place to go.
