Yinghua Academy: what do users think?

Edeva Vang: Soo good school

Justin Yang: As a former student: It was okay here, learned a lot and learned about manners and politeness. But at a cost. Some practices during my time there weren't the best. The humiliation part and yelling from teachers are true. Verbal aggression is a norm here. Some staff aren't as friendly and there's better schools out there. You're kid will turn out academically inclined, but their mental health is smoked. Teachers will and have taken stress and frustration out on students. After learning more about abuse, verbal abuse is to be expected. Everytime there are visitors, everyone portrays the perfect image. I'm pretty sure there are former students who have more to share. For the mental sake of your kids, choose better. Literally had to reheal from here.

Maya Hawk: I am currently a sixth grade student at Yinghua, and though the sixth graders are definitely crazy, there is no abuse or physical fights out in the hallway. The most that you will get if you misbehave is a trip to the principal’s office, or a call to the parents. I recommend this school.

Hazel Zimmerman: Love Yinghua! As a student, I did not experience any of the abuse students and former students are talking about in these reviews. Teachers will expect good behavior, but the worst that happens is a lecture. Most teachers love their students, and only want the best for them. The homework load is heavy compared to other schools, and is not so much that I can't get it done. I can tell that it is really helping me and my classmates to become our best selves. There isn't as much free time for recess and extra curriculars as I would like, but you get used to it and it is not extreme. I highly recommend Yinghua for anyone who feels that they want a challenge or a high quality education.

Gabe Londgren: because he treated me well and taught me so much! I respect him a lot and hope everyone who goes here can learn from him. Some of the people here are saying that the teachers abuse the kids but there is no abuse happening at least not from my time there. The teachers are just very strict and disciplined your child will adapt and learn that a little discipline is not all bad. So I encourage people to try this school out and give it a chance.

Sarah Huntley: Be ready for heavy homework load but no more intense than the public schools Immersion programs. You have to be dedicated as a family to the program. The staff is very communicative and has been supportive of my children. This is our 8th year at Yinghua and the curriculum is excellent!I have a 2nd grader enrolled also and look forward to many more Chinese New Year celebrations.

Cynthia Shypulski: .

Beckham Van Voorst: Mr ken shows the true yinghua spirit

Sungjoon Park:

Robert Zwiefelhofer: .

Lena Edlund: Люк помог мне пройти плохую программу по китайскому языку в старшей школе. Я бы дал 10/10, если бы мог

Casmir Valeri: Luke is a fantastic language instructor. Learning Chinese with him is fun and motivating. His learning style is tailored specifically to the acknowledgements of your strengths, weaknesses, and goals. He made sure to push me out of my comfort zone if I fell behind in a key area, which is vital for learning. I'm incredibly thankful for him.

Ben Sosa: I'm about to travel to China. Having classes with this teachers was the best way to be prepared to do it. Best Chinese tutor.

Eric Kraus: When I first started self-learning Chinese, I was struggling with too much unstructured content available on websites and mobile apps. After starting regular lessons with Luke, I was able to develop a structure that saw measurable improvements in my progress. I am so glad I found Luke to help me with my goal of learning Chinese. He listened to my specific needs/interests upfront and now tailors our lessons to my goals. He is very knowledgeable in both Chinese and English linguistics, but doesn’t overwhelm the lessons with things beyond what I have already or need to learn. I highly, highly recommend Luke for anyone learning Chinese, whether as a starter, traveler or native speaker just looking for a tune-up.

Vilma Jurado: Luke is the best tutor you can find around the Twin Cities. He was my daughter's tutor and she learned a lot with him in a short period of time. I I definitely recommend him as the best tutor you can have.

Ellen Beehler: Wow....what can I say....Luke is awesome! Not only did he teach us the basics of Mandarin, he customized our lessons to what we would need for our trip. And, the added bonus was that he shared information about traveling to China and what to expect from a cultural perspective. Luke exceeded our expectations! I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn Mandarin.

Janet Hou: Luke is an excellent teacher who caters your lessons specifically to your needs and proficiency level. He's got a great set of tools to help anyone learn Mandarin Chinese, including a wide range of videos, online flash cards, and his own video tutorials explaining some of the intricacies of the grammar and language structure. Something that I really liked was that Luke was always checking in to see how I felt the lessons were going and that I was getting what I felt I needed out of the lessons. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to either improve their speaking or writing abilities or who want to learn Chinese for the first time.

Joe Simonson: keeps me engaged, even on a Monday evening after a stressful day. I couldn't be happier!

Michelle Reichel: My husband surprised me for my birthday with Mandarin lessons and it became my favorite gift of all time. Luke did such an incredible job of making us feel confident and comfortable learning together. It was an incredible hobby to do together and Luke became more than a tutor for us each week- he was an incredible support and friend! I can't say enough great things about him. If you're evening considering lessons, you've got your guy!

Allen Theisen: Luke is an excellent teacher; consistent, patient, and matches the student's ability and pace well. I'm amazed at how fast my son is learning Chinese and think Luke's use of different media, technology and immersive style of teaching have been wonderful for a young child.

Amy Lynn Sullivan: Luke is a great mentor and facilitator for learning Mandarin, matching your style of learning - allowing you room to learn and giving individualized challenges. He has excellent recommendations for different resources of extra tools that will help you study. He's super flexible, fun, personable and has been a huge help to me learning Mandarin. Every lesson I come away inspired to use what I've learned and push myself to work harder. Just returning from a trip to China, I was able to use a lot of what I learned from my lessons with Luke to speak, read, listen and understand native speakers.

Jie Ming Mandarin Immersion Academy: what do users think?

Adam Morgan: I've only ever played basketball here. It's a nice court and has differing heights for each hoop. I'm pretty bad but that's not the court's fault. I don't know anything about the school itself. 5 stars!

Brian Lam: Wonderful school with a great principal, staff, and families.

Carlos dC: Excellent school, the closest program that matches a private option. Excellent Principal, dedicated native speaker teachers and great PTA.

lily shaw: I have been amazed at my daughters growth over her past 4 years at Jie Ming. We couldn't ask for a better education. She grows and learns more everyday and every year. I am amazed by the community, the teachers, the kids and the overall experience. From the language, to math, to science, to gym, to art we have it all. We do not speak Mandarin in the home and my daughters love of learning the language blows my mind everyday. I am so happy we are raising her to be so aware of our global world.

Annie D: We have been here for two years now and we absolutely love it. My son has had excellent experiences with all his teachers. The team that they have built here is incredibly dedicated and have built an effective and welcoming learning environment. I will say that the program is very rigorous, and it takes some adjustment for the little ones. They typically are learning math about one year ahead of their grade, and the science teacher is highly engaged and gets the kids really thinking and curious about the world. Most of all, it’s amazing to see how quickly the kids start speaking and reading Chinese!

Sherryse Corrow: Wow. This is the best school. We put a lot of thought into where to send our daughter. She is now in first grade and we are continually impressed by Jie Ming. The principal is so dedicated to keeping Jie Ming one of the top schools in the state. She has a stringent no tolerance policy for bullying. The PTA is intensely active and organizes great events for the students. We have been so happy with our experience and my daughter loves it! And of course, the Mandarin is the icing on the cake!

Ziying Kvitrud: Languages- cultures-world

Ermi Abe: It so attractive place of learning for kid

Brian G Lam: Wonderful tuition free public magnet school! Families living outside of Saint Paul may also attend by submitting a Open Enrollment Form.

Amanda Salkowicz: My daughter has been going to this school since she was in kindergarten, she is now in 4th grade. She loves all her teachers and classmates. It is a great school and village of parents.

Joanne Cryer: Absolutely love the school. The teachers and staff are amazing.

Diana E. Orellana Gomez: Best mandarin immersion program and best of all is a saint paul public school! !

Jesse Emerick: This is a great school. The teachers are wonderful and the kids are learning so much!

Shuang Cheng: what do users think?

Tovin Sannes-Venhuizen (Tovin): Loved the complimentary tea, got the Sweet and Sour chicken with fried rice and cream cheese wontons, absolutely fantastic. The lunch special was less than $11 per person, a value that is difficult to find these days in the cities.

James Slaviero: The walleye was very tasty and definitely exceed expectations. $41.00 was well worth It. It was long and thick. Definitely enough for 2 people.

Dean Ehrenheim: and Chicken Kung Pow. Both were amazing!

Tea House Chinese Restaurant: what do users think?

Hoang-Giang Nguyen: Highly recommend the Serrano Pepper Beef! So good! All of their dish comes in Huge portion sizeService is amazing.Their House Spicy Fish was a nit salty for my taste. I don’t recommend their mapo tofu and dan dan noodle. The soup dumplings are good, the wrapper was a bit too thick

Steve Tran: Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated by a friendly lady who exuded genuine hospitality. Our server, Terry was incredibly attentive and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We indulged in a feast of culinary delights, including the mouthwatering soup dumplings, tantalizing hot and sour dumplings, flavorful scalded chili handmade noodles, and perfectly crafted scallion pancakes. A special tip: don't miss out on trying them with the chili oil for an extra kick of flavor!Overall, our visit was nothing short of exceptional. From the ambiance to the service and, of course, the delectable dishes, this tea house exceeded all expectations. A definite must-visit for anyone in search of a memorable dining experience in Minneapolis.PS: the price is not label on the physical menu, but the scannable QR code have the price on it

Joy Kell: This is a nice restaurant with a unique entrance and interior design. Staff is attentive and accommodating.Dumpings: 5/5 when you break it there's soup inside and it's good with the sauce.I found the main dishes a bit salty as I kept eating it.The lamb with the pita bread, 3/5. It was good but had a lot of small bones that made it hard to eat.The dish with bellpepers has a kick to it and great with the veggie. The green/red peppers were on the bitter side. The fish was good, but also slightly salty. Also there was no prices on the menu.

JIPortillo: Chinese Tea House is a good spot to get some good simple comfort food. Whatever dish you’ve ever had at any Chinese takeout or restaurant, they’ve got. Plus the ambiance is pretty good! I’d say service could be better as the servers don’t check up on you apart from ordering and getting food. Had to flag down our guy to get refill a couple of time. The menus are probably the best thing ever! They have pictures for EVERY DISH they have and it makes it super helpful when making a decision. The food we got was good and tasteful, although my dish was a little too salty. This place in my opinion takes what a you would expect Chinese spot to be and takes up one level. Overall good experience and would go again to try other dishes.

Monica Wahlberg: OMG! Fabulous!! Just happened to drive by and did a U turn to come back for dinner. So glad I did. I'm from out of town, meeting up with family later so had never been here before. You walk in and are greeted by friendly staff. My server, Terry, was social yet professional. Beautiful carved wood screens with big tables hosting lazy susans in the middle. The menu has so many tantalizing dishes it was hard to order for only one. I found a dish that was similar to something I had in China alongside the Yangzhe River, Squirrel Fish. They use fresh walleye here. I'm a good WI girl and have grown up with eating walleye. You have never eaten it like this! It's a culinary experience. Kind of glad I was by myself since I ended up just diving in with my fingers! Splurged and ordered their garlic eggplant, which was some of the best I've ever had, no lie. I hear their garlic green beans are even better. Guess I'll have to come up with an excuse to road trip back up here with friends just to come for dinner again. Mind blown, tummy full, soul happy.Vegetarian options: A whole veggie section that will tickle your taste buds.

Joseph Sebast: Best Chinese food in the twin cities by FAR!Our waiter Jacob was amazing! He was super knowledgeable about the food, the history, and the restaurant itself. He was also quick and attentive without being invasive, he was excellent.I love boa and have tried several restaurants, cafes, shops, and bakeries to find the best, and it is here. The Szechuan sauce and meals are amazing. I'm not overly familiar with Szechuan food, but I loved it.And the portion sizes are HUGE!The ambiance is excellent. Comfy seats, gentle music, good lighting, and good share on the sunny days. The parking is street parking only.Vegetarian options: Their tofu is CRAZY tasty!Wheelchair accessibility: It's all flat, and this accessible

Fabian Gomez: This place had the most delicious, authentic, and reasonably priced Szechuan food in the Twin Cities. I'm in shock that they're gone. I trekked through literal snowstorms just for their mapo tofu and their chung king spicy chicken was something out of a dream. Now the dreams are all that's left.RIP Szechuan Spice.

Mei Inn: what do users think?

Matt Hallacy: The only way I can describe the food is "they make it how I would if I made it at home". Great ingredients prepared right, no shortcuts. We loved it and will definitely return. As other reviewers have noted you should definitely give them a call after ordering online -- their online ordering printer seems to be in the back unattended. If you like expensive fancy dining areas this isn't the place for you, take it home.

Keish Keish (KIki): When I tell you that this is the BEST on the Southside OMG! I am a shrimp person so when I say that their shrimp fried rice and the Cantonese Shrimp Lo Mein are top tier! 👌🏽absolutely delicious!!!! Omg I normally Uber eat and they gave me complimentary cream cheese wonton. This place is amazing... I read some of the reviews and must say that I honestly feel people are lying. I've ordered from them multiple times and only once was I not 100% satisfied. The shrimp Cantonese lo mein tasted burnt, but I don't let one bad experience ruin it for me. Their food is delicious

Rainbow Chinese Restaurant and Bar: what do users think?

Sarah Jerome: Food: 5/5

Colleen P: Though the weather outside was bitter cold, inside Rainbow Chinese is a garden of delight. Chef/Owner Tammy Wong’s Rainbow Chinese is a gift to Minneapolis, a must-experience destination. My noodle soup sparkled with the brightest herbs and vegetables, I’m convinced there’s no fatter egg roll on the planet and the shrimp w/walnuts and cream is absolutely dreamy.I met a friend there this evening to both celebrate her birthday and mourn the recent passing of her beloved Grandmother. We picked Rainbow because of the food but also the warmth of service and embracing atmosphere. I love Rainbow.

Elisa: I've been a regular customer of theirs for decades. I compare all Chinese restaurant food to theirs. Can't get enough of it.I love the noodle soups, gai-lan with oyster sauce. There's a cold tofu with cilantro & sauces appetizer I've never seen anywhere else that is wonderful. They have a gingerale - I think it's club soda & cola with fresh ginger & maybe ginger something with bitters. Yum. They also have a full bar.Whatever the dish, their take on it is above & beyond.Vegetarian options: Often, you'll find 1 or 2 vegetarian dishes per restaurant. Even most salads come with meat these days. There's a vegetable section of the menu & other meatless items scattered around the menu.

Dragon Wok Chinese Dine In Delivery & Takeout: what do users think?

Lorri Lavin: Everything we got tonight is delicious! Best Egg Drop Soup Ever!

Tamara Peterson: . But I also really loved their fried rice, egg rolls, broccoli stir fry, and pad Thai!

Onyedimma Nwachuku: This place is definitely in my top 5 Chinese restaurants in Minnesota! I love the black and Asian fusion of their dishes. Great food and service as they were able to walk me through ordering online. Drunken noodles and sesame chicken were the big highlights of my order. The Dragon Wok fried rice has everything you could want in a dish.

Caitlin Sauve: The food was absolutely exceptional! My friends and I stopped in and we were all flabbergasted by how fresh everything tasted! I was sad I couldn't finish all my food because it is as so good! The staff was extremely friendly and kind, and the wontons were the best I have ever had! Thank you so much for the amazing experience I can't wait to come back again!

Anastasia Abbruscato: This place is amazing!!!! Best Wontons Ever! Also the food is super cute and prepared fairly quickly at an affordable price!!

Doug: Best local Asian food near my home. Always fast delivery and the prices are average.

Ken Friberg: Great local restaurant with Asian American style food. Fast delivery and friendly people.

Tolu Ojoyeyi: Lemon pepper wings are so good here! Great food and great service for delivery or pickup. The food is flavorful on a consistent basis. I'm always full and happy after having dragon wok! I always recommend this place to friends and fam

Cortney N.M: Beautifully ran and great food. Thank you!

Lacie Laurent: Best Chinese food in town and great service. Every time I get the same meals at other places I am disappointed because they never compare to Dragon Wok's quality of texture and flavor. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Nicole Boone: This is an amazing family owned restaurant with impeccable food! Whatever your lifestyle, this is the best Black/Asian owned restaurant in MN. Home cooked taste in a restaurant setting - I highly recommend to anyone that loves Asian food! #supportlocal

Bill's Garden Chinese Gourmet: what do users think?

Videos / Non-Music: Really good food, especially the fried rice although I’d avoid the pineapple fried rice and hot and sour soup specifically. It’s a hit or miss usually and unfortunately, it’s a miss here. The pineapple has a slightly freezer burn taste to it whereas the soup has a strong taste of ketchup/hotsauce. Although all the other options are amazing! I usually get shrimp/chicken fried rice, beef and broccoli, or sesame chicken

Latrese M Crockett: One of my favorite places to eat vegetable fried rice. Management very nice and pleasant. Family oriented been coming here for ten years. And this place is better and better ❤️❤️❤️Vegetarian options: Come and try you'll 💕 it

Matisse May: Second time getting take out. Today they forgot half my order. Called to tell me it was their mistake. Drove back maybe 15 minutes. Asked for a free can of soda for my troubles. When I got to my car I realized they gave me free cookies. Great food and great people. 👍Parking: 2 spots for pickup right in front.

Peter Claassen: Delicious!
