Blooma Minneapolis: what do users think?

Tiffany Landy: , and she was a true delight. She was fantastic with my daughter and was a huge help. In addition to having an extra set of hands to entertain my daughter, she always checked in on me emotionally and physically, which I appreciated. She constantly made sure she was helping me or my daughter, or that the house was being taken care of. I would not have been able to survive the postpartum period without her.

Kylee Haglund: We attended a lactation class and I had a prenatal massage which were both fabulous but I’m here to mostly talk about our experience with Blooma doula service. Our doula was Meagan during our meetings prior to birth she helped us feel more prepared for birth and what to expect/ask our provider leading up to the big day. This knowledge gave me more confidence leading up to birth but where Meagan really shined was during labor. She came in and helped us navigate this very intense beautiful experience. She coached myself and husband and I felt so supported. I truly believe that she was a large factor in me having a positive birthing experience and I am beyond happy with the service.

Nicole Campbell: Our baby is now a month old and we've had the best experience with Blooma over the past 9 months. We attended several birth classes there, I went to yoga, received chiropractic and massages throughout pregnancy and we also used Blooma doulas for our birth.Blooma doulas were definitely the highlight for us and were so helpful to both my husband and myself. Aleida and Shaina were helpful throughout my pregnancy and amazing during labor both before the hospital and once we got there. I had an easy pregnancy, but nothing about the birth was what I had planned for and having doulas who prepped us for that throughout the pregnancy and were there in the moment to talk through things really helped us make the best of the experience. The hospital was also so busy that weekend that we barely saw the midwife, which made Shaina’s support and experience extra valuable for the birth. It was just us, Shaina and our nurse for most of the time and we would have been lost without the two of them! Shaina also took fantastic photos for us!

Nina Durkopp: We cannot speak highly enough of Aleida Vanderbrug & Shaina Towler and the invaluable support they provided during the birth of our child. From our initial meeting, we knew we had found someone special. They exuded warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for our well-being.Throughout the entire process, Aleida & Shaina were a calming presence, offering unwavering support and guidance. They took the time to understand our preferences and concerns, ensuring that our birth experience was tailored to meet our needs.During labor, Aleida was a true rock. She provided continuous physical and emotional support, offering comfort measures and reassurance every step of the way. Her expertise and calming presence helped us navigate unexpected challenges with confidence and grace.Beyond the birth itself, Aleida & Shaina were a pillar of support in the postpartum period, offering invaluable advice and encouragement as we adjusted to life with our newborn. We are immensely grateful to Aleida & Shaina for their role in our birth journey. They went above and beyond to ensure that we felt empowered, supported, and cared for every step of the way. We wholeheartedly recommend Aleida & Shaina & Blooma to anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable birth doula.

Jessica Spanswick: We hired Anna Hoyme as a postpartum doula in preparation for the birth of our first baby. Anna went above and beyond! She helped us navigate lactation, sleep, cloth diapers, communication, recovery from birth, anxiety, etc. She was always so incredibly kind, understanding, and proactive. She is also exceptionally knowledgeable about infant and new mother care. We miss her already!

Dani S: and...she didn't only make it bearable but absolutely entertaining and informative. We learned SO much! I would absolutely recommend Blooma!

Brittany Gomez: I recently took a Doula training workshop at Blooma, what an incredible experience! The Blooma studio was a perfect place to learn and ignite even more passion for birthwork. As part of the training weekend we also got to experience a prenatal yoga class with expecting mothers - to see the comfort and community for all those mamas to be was heartwarming. I will recommend Blooma to all my clients!!

Katie Heberer: Blooma is the best! All the classes create a sense of community; it’s more than yoga, it’s a way to connect with others. I would highly recommend all the BYOB barre and yoga classes; it’s a great way to move your body while staying with baby. All the teachers are highly knowledgeable and make modifications as needed.

Lia Sherman: . I've been coming here for nearly a decade, and no week feels complete without walking through the door. 10/10 recommend, 100 stars if I could give them, A+ local business run by incredible women.

Autumn Onelove: I received a very relaxing prenatal massage from Molly Hajkova. She made me feel very comfortable. The space was very relaxing and calming. I also really appreciated that I was able to lay face down as they have a special table to give space for baby in my belly! Thanks Molly!

Megan McCord: Blooma has been such a joy for my first year of motherhood. It is a welcoming place for moms and women! I have utilized the education classes, workouts and massage. I appreciate the discount for being an RN!

greta: your name and ask if anything is going on in your body before they start class to ensure they are teaching with modifications in mind. They also incorporate mindfulness into the practice which has enabled me to improve my mind-body connection.Whether you are pre-natal, post-natal, or neither like me – it is a great community for every gender, body, age, and yoga level. The wide array of people enables us to accept each other and ourselves for who we are and where we are in life. I also appreciate the wide array of classes and services. Between flow yoga, restorative yoga, barre, mat pilates, workshops, massage therapists, teacher training, and more – I have everything I need at Blooma – for my mind, body, and heart.

Nancy Holtze: Blooma yoga is hands down my favorite studio to practice yoga at and I have lived in many places and tried out countless studios. There is something so uniquely special at Blooma and you feel it the minute you walk in the door. The warmth of the greetings and the community is beyond rich. You feel it immediately and it is welcoming to all. I love the diversity of ages and levels and the instructors are experts in their crafts, always offering alternative options and making sure everyone is comfortable and safe. I look forward to every class. And it is a place for ALL! No need to be female, pregnant or have any children at all.

Ashley O'Reilly: Meagan and Shiana were fabulous.I called them for SO MANY QUESTIONS during pregnancy and postpartum. They always answered - day or night - and made us feel like their most important clients. The suggestions they provided such as when to see a chiropractor, when i should go to the hospital during labor, and when we needed to contact peds for our new baby are all incredibly helpful. Yes, they are expensive, but I would pay DOUBLE to have them again. They were that great!

Libby Arnosti: My prenatal massage with Gretchen was hands down the best massage I have ever had. She made me feel so at ease in the space, listened to what was going on with my body in pregnancy, and personalized her massage really well to what I needed. Her technique is excellent and I truly melted on the table for all 90 minutes. At the end of the massage she gave me resources, tips based on what I am experiencing in my pregnancy, and ideas for how my partner can help me. I am absolutely coming back again, 10/10 would recommend.

Molly McGurran: , birth classes and body work. The doula staff is so talented & their birth education courses are chalked full of information. There is such a strong sense of community & wonderful staff who are knowledgeable and kind!

Hannah Henderson: Our overnight postpartum doula Taylor was fantastic. She made things so easy by handling overnight feedings, bottling/labeling my pumped milk, folding baby laundry, and providing tips and insight about questions we had about diaper rash, sleep schedules, and what's "normal" for twin infants. My husband and I would highly recommend Taylor!

The Mother Baby Center at Abbott Northwestern and Children's Minnesota: what do users think?

Justin Johnson: What a wonderful place! We are so happy we chose MBC for our first born birth. We were excellently attended the whole time, we always felt heard. Can’t say enough how much I recommend Abbott MBC and team!

Loe Lee: in medicine. For me, the Mother Baby Center at Abbott has only been stories going right.I've had three babies here and all were incredibly different experiences. The last one was exceptional when it came to patient care. The Anesthesiologist, Dr. Muellerleile, listened intently before my cesarean. When I told him about past experiences, he validated them, took the time to explain what may have happened, and worked with me to make a plan that addressed my concerns. The staff in the operating room was always in sync and my pain and comfort

Pa Lee: My husband and I, plus family members who came to visit absolutely loved this place so much. It wasn’t our first choice but since Regions was full, we were sent here. Here I went through a traumatic experience of being induced to having a c-section because it is my first time having a child. However, with the help of the nurses and doctors who were there, they made everything even better. Everyone was so calm and patient and sweet. They even took care of me and my baby so well.Something I do regret though is not remembering this one nurse’s name as she was such a sweet person. She helped me a lot and even took care of my baby very well. She also bonded with my family members to the point where we shared stuff with each other.

Noel Espinoza: We had our baby here, we’re so happy we chose The Mother Baby Center! These nurses are EXTREMELY caring, they all had a positive attitude, were polite and considerate of how stressed we could be as new parents. The ladies here are all amazing.

Nora Gyarfas: Katie from the lactation center is amazing and has great emotional support/bedside manner!

Mist: Fromolz-Brenda-RN was such an astounding nurse, she’s very sympathetic, very understanding, very calm, I can tell she loves her job. During the epidural she was reassuring me and telling me everything would be all right. I really appreciate how she was caring for me and assisting me. I am thankful.

Mostak Sani: Good hospital

Lakisha Jones: I gave birth almost 7 years ago and this was by far the best hospital ever. I'll see you guys on February 2024.

Allison Schedin: I had a stellar experience giving birth to my twins here. I stayed for 5 days, and everyone from the admitting receptionist to the discharging nurse was so kind and helpful. Our nurses Bailey and Holly in particular became special to us, treating us parents with such care as well as our babies. The food was also awesome, surprisingly - you can order to your room from a big menu, it all tasted good, and it's really cheap even for guests.

Carlye Lottman: If I could give this place a million stars I would, I wish all these nurses could get a raise. The amount of happiness I had during my time here is unexplainable. The first nurse I had when I went in when I had to be induced was Ursula. She is an amazing person and nurse and talked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable. Unfortunately I had to get a c section & the nurses who went with me to get my c section were just as amazing. All these girls are so wonderful and I’m so glad I had the amazing birth experience I had. Makes me very thankful to meet these beautiful women and litterly just puts tears to my eyes cause how thankful I am. They are truly one of a kind! Please if you ever are pregnant, please deliver here!

Vanessa D: Just gave birth here and am resting in the postpartum recovery floor. The staff here is incredible and I am so grateful to have had the experience here that my husband and I did. I felt heard, cared for, and informed about every step of my birth and recovery so far! Special thanks to the nurses Katie and Nina in the labor and delivery unit. You ladies were amazing support and I will never forget it! The anesthesiologists were also top notch.

A N: I had a very quick & scary birth last Dec. the nurses by my side were literal angels. Holding my hand through the entire 30min labor while I am bleeding & having a very early baby. To say that I knew that they cared not only for me but my baby would be an understatement. They kept me safe & were advocates for me when I was in too much pain to speak & unable to get an epidural due to how quickly the labor was.RNs, Annie, Lisa, Kate & countless more thank you for being there for me & becoming my friend when I was in antepartum for 2 weeks.

Aaron Lund: The nurses and doctors here are some of the best in the US and even better it’s attached to MN children’s hospital

Everyday Miracles: what do users think?

Amanda Cao: Took almost all of the prenatal classes offered. All were free/low cost due to my Medicaid. Welcoming environment and staff!!

Kari Marden: Skilled🍃wise🍃profession 🍃friendly

Jeanette Garcia: Every day miracle is such a helpful place from car seats to doula to chiropractic.Dr Kelsey is the best chiropractor I've ever been to, wonderful hands compassionate heart.Got my baby's car seat there they brought it over to my house. Genoveva best doula so prepared for any thing you need compassionate, full of information. Love this place.

Jaime Delzer: It gave both my husband and I so much confidence. After this class, things started to feel much more "real" with our pregnancy, but we also started to have a lot more fun... We had really needed to connect and share experiences with other parents-to-be and to have some help knowing what to expect. We got that and had a blast doing it!Have since taken advantage of some of the other classes and offerings - Everyday Miracles is such a great resource for our community! Clearly, there is a lot of love and passion going into this organization from a group of powerful, intelligent women.

C Johnson: Can’t speak highly enough about our experience with one of their Doulas, Abby. She was punctual and prepared for all of our appointments and helped inform us of our birthing options. When it came time to deliver the baby, Abby stayed with us for nearly 24 hours at the hospital and provided great support throughout the process of labor. Worth every penny and would highly recommend Abby for all of your doula needs. Also great to know that the organization provides support for those who otherwise could not afford a doula. Everyone should have the option of using a doula for the birth experience because it was so helpful.

Tori Hensley: Love love looooove Everyday Miracles! This organization truly cares about offering affordable prenatal education, doulas, and yoga for all mommas to be regardless of their income! I have personally benefitted from yoga class taught by Cheyenne and Melissa and their prenatal education. I am so grateful for this organization and their dedication to serving mothers in MN.

Anon Anon: As a first time mom, there are so many unknowns. The doulas are excellent teachers and help guide and coach new mommies with no judgment or expectations. I would definitely recommend them to any mommies.

Caitlin Nelson: My spouse and I did the Lamaze Crash Course and loved it! Great instructor, useful information and logical flow to the class. We left feeling much more informed and prepared.

Bryce Hutchings: Kelsey Lloyd is AMAZING! I was shocked at how much progress I had made after one visit.

Charlie Foust: Everyday Miracles is a comprehensive resource for birthing families. From doula care to childbirth education and wellness care to group support- if you are having a baby, you need to be here. Conveniently located in NE Mpls!!

Braden Peltier: Kelsey Lloyd is the best chiropractor I've been to!! & FYI you don't have to be pregnant or a woman...

Amma Parenting Personal & Virtual Childbirth Classes: what do users think?

Jud Herrig: The infant CPR course was good but seemed out of order a bit. It would have been good to start with checking for obvious choking hazard. Instead he jumped into doing compressions to start. Also there was a good bit of time spent on adult and older child CPR which is fine, but that is not the course title. Regardless, we definitely learned better than watching videos. Appreciated not just watching videos in class and the engagement and enthusiasm by instructor.

Lindsey McDermott: This was one of the best decisions I made during maternity leave. It was wonderful to connect with fellow moms on similar journeys. I also appreciated that the courses were differentiated: I was in a Second Time Mama group. We all also had toddlers. Our instructor was warm and knowledgeable. It was the highlight of our week! We also met up once a week outside of class. I have t been this social in years.

Elizabeth Ullyot: I took the Amma New Parent class with Shana after the birth of my daughter and I'm SO glad I did! This was a non-judgmental space where we could talk about anything and everything we wonder about as new moms. It was much more of a conversation than a typical "class," which I loved. I got to know the other moms and their babies and they will continue to be part of my "village" - I can't stress how important it is to have a village in this stage of life! I gained so much confidence by taking this class and connecting with other new moms, it was time and money VERY well spent. I HIGHLY recommend this class to any and all new moms - Shana is an incredible instructor/moderator and my class all LOVED her, so sign up for her class if you can!

Aldon Severson: made what we were learning feel real. We feel better equipped as expecting parents than we did beforehand. My only critique is that feeding information is 100% tailored to breastfeeding. Parents planning to bottle feed their child won't take much from that portion of the class.

Alayna Branham: These classes were so amazingly helpful. We took prenatal classes as a couple that made us feel so much more informed about birth and early parenting. I also took the new mama and beyond newborns class. These classes have been a godsend. I have built amazingly close friendships with other moms/parents. I loved every second of the classes. I cried both times the classes ended because they were so good. Highly highly recommend!

Matt Murray: We had Jodie as our All in One Express class over the last 3 weeks. She was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable, kind and engaging. If you're looking to feel more confident in your new parenting abilities, choose Amma!

Mary L: We took the infant CPR class from Michael O’Neill and loved it! Very informational, would recommend to anyone who cares for an infant.

Kevin Overlund: We could not have asked for a better experience. Jodi was amazing and truly cared for our family. The course was very informative and Jodi made sure to ask for specific questions to cater to our groups' concerns and areas of focus. Would definitely recommend to any new or expecting parents.

Adam Bachmeier: My wife and I took the Preparing for Childbirth class. Our instructor Heidi was engaging, gave us the facts we asked for and made sure we were prepared for all the different intricacies of Childbirth. I learned a lot and feel more prepared because of Amma. I would highly recommend taking classes through Amma as a new or soon-to-be parent.

Heather Horgen: . You are supposed to meet as a group outside of class every week too, and that was probably the most valuable part. It was great for building confidence in getting out of the house, going to different types of places, feeding in public, and of course talking to the other moms. I highly recommend this class!

Laura Pechtel: - but also touched on formula-fed, didn’t make anybody feel forced to have a natural birth, and she explained things in terms we all understood, and answered all of our questions in depth. We never felt like she was rushing through anything but we were also never bored. The class did a great job explaining things through Stephanie talking through them but also with videos. The class was wonderful overall and I’m glad we waited until 33 weeks to do so because now we are even more excited and feel much more prepared and it’s fresh in our minds now.I would highly recommend this class AND Stephanie!

Caleb Stark: [Also, posted by wife, Kendall Stark]

Emily Van Cook: I wasn't sure what to expect from the Labor and Delivery class we signed up for here. I joked before hand that I signed up for my husband, that I'd done the research I needed. I was wrong, this was VERY helpful for both of us! Our instructor was very funny and clearly knew a lot about the whole process. She was kind but brutally honest. I especially enjoyed her discussion of after the birth. Most of the time we talk about the labor and delivery but not the healing that's required after. Her "walk of shame" demonstrating the walk to the bathroom after delivery, including putting on the ice pack, huge pad, mesh undies, was really a great way to make sure none of us feel alone in that experience.

Amber Ellsworth: My husband and I took the Natural Childbirth class there and I have taken a New Mama class there. Both classes were very informative and the instructors were incredibly friendly, encouraging and knowledgable! I highly recommend Amma.
