Kinfolk: what do users think?

Brandon lerold: Full disclosure, I skipped lunch and finished my first old fashioned before the chicken arrived. I won’t claim the pickle fried chicken to be the best chicken ever made, but I will say it was the best chicken I’ve ever had. The food truck guys were awesome. Don’t skip the chicken.

kg54mvp1: Fantastic! Ordered online, picked it up at a food truck and didn’t realize they were partnered with Norseman Distillery which was cool. The pickup had great portions, and it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I can’t wait to go back!

Brandan B: Wow. I got the Mother Clucker and it was amazing. This place does not skimp on the portion size or the taste. Crispy, savory, and delicious with just the riiiiiight amount of spice; if you haven't eaten here, you're missing out! The fries were amazing too. I ended up getting a creme brule because I was feeling fancy and I was not disappointed. I will definitely be taking my folks to this place when we're finally able to get together again. Top notch.

jordan sellman: Love this place! I cant recommend it enough!

Robyn Field: I can't say enough good things about this food. Seriously. The chicken is phenomenal. We've had it by itself and on the sandwiches and they are amazing. The absolute best buffalo chicken sandwich that I've ever had. And the fries were still crunchy even after getting the food home to Roseville!I highly recommend the ribs, the fried chicken, and the chili. Best fried chicken and smoked meat in MN.

Rachel Sniadajewski: Three words: get yourself some chicken! Oh, 4 words... well I'll add another word to that to get this to 5 stars: YUMMMMMM

Hippo Campus: best chicken sandwich best sauces wow 6 stars

Zac Field: Best smoked meats in Minnesota by far, and best fried chicken anywhere! Worth the trip for takeout, can’t wait to have some at Norseman when the weather is nicer too.

Deborah Purcell: BBQ, Biscuits. Apple Butter! It doesn’t get any better than this- delicious food, great people, this is well worth a visit and other ones after that!

Jessica Wall: Give me more! I am southern and am always looking for a spot that hits that comfort food place in my belly. Finger licken, come back sauce dripping, all the meats havin, service be bringing it! Thank you!!

Corey: The chicken sandwich is insane! Exactly what I wanted, biscuits are also delicious, the honey butter and apple butter are perfection with it. Def coming back to try other stuff...or to just keep eating the sandwich.

Jordan Webb: Well worth the visit - some of the best bbq in town and located in the Norseman Distillery parking lot - I can’t wait to be back to cocktails paired with Kinfolk treats in the future!

Herbie Butcher's Fried Chicken: what do users think?

Katherine LeRoy: A good time!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my food and service. I stopped eating chicken for an abundance of reasons 7+ years ago and being able to go to Herbie Butcher Fried Chicken and getting a bucket of plant based fried chicken and biscuits is a fantastic experience for me. Juicy and the breading on their “chicken” is perfect! Keep in mind that I am from the south and currently live in the south. I’m definitely going to find away to visit the city again to have more and I understand that they even ship their chicken …

Matthew Bender: that it was our first time and he recommended the two piece bucket. We got honey mustard as the dipping sauce and mashed potatoes as the side. Our order was out in less than 5 minutes. The gravy on the mash was incredible and the maple "butter" was just perfect for the biscuit. The chicken and tots were crispy and hot. I caught myself wondering why I'd even need to bother eating real chicken again. The chicken is that good!!Vegetarian options: All vegetarian, even the items refered to as "meat."

rye_ bread: chicken sandwich fanatic absolutely loved the hot honnee sandwich. For me though the fried pickles were such a slay.Vegetarian options: ALL PLANT BASED ✨

A.J.: Just do it, don’t consider anywhere else for lunch/dinner…just go. Herbies chicken is by far, hands down, no questions asked, the BEST vegan chicken I have ever had. There is no feeling like ordering a BUCKET of chicken with ranch and just chowing down! The flavor was perfect, and the level of crunch can’t be beat. The sides complimented the chicken very well too. Only issue is the inside seating is a little squishy, but with some chicken to eat, who cares.

Alec Santelman: Look I love the place but half of the time I've eaten-in someone has walked in and started to order without realizing it's a vegan joint. They could probably make that clearerAnyways, great food!

Molly Zupon: After being a vegetarian for 24 years, the one thing I’ve said I’ve always missed is fried chicken. This place is AMAZING! It impressed even my meat eating husband! A must try for anyone who is vegan, vegetarian, or flexitarian!Vegetarian options: EVERYTHING ON THE MENU!Dietary restrictions: Some items may not be gluten free, but it’s all completely meat free!

Amy K: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Chicken Buckets Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Menu is all vegetarian

Shannon Mahedy: , we had malts in our hands and a paper bag full of chicken, mac and cheese, tater tots, and sauces. The contents of the bag smelled positively heavenly, and we could barely wait to get home to voraciously consume them.We drank the chocolate malt in the car, and we couldn’t get enough of its creamy and decadent texture, along with its coconut-y flavor. When we arrived at home, we immediately dug in. The mac and cheese was sublime— creamy, slightly tangy, and throughly satisfying. The tots were crispy and had a slight kick of spice. The sauces

CHX: what do users think?

VJ Dawson: What happened to Pizza Shark? Best pizza and dessert ever! When will you open again?Food: 5/5Recommended dishes …

Jeff Stark: I have definitely had my fair share of pizza in life, especially given the food background I was involved in over the years. This pizza is exceptional. For the meat lovers pie I give it a 9.1/10 and highly recommend. Most definitely interested to see what else they have on the menu across the board. Well done people! Well done!!!

Peter Swanson: We were staying in midtown and were looking for a place for a decent bite with parking, wine and beer when we found this place. It was so good that we came back for our last dinner in town. Great wood fired pizza, a good glass of wine and a cold beer. Who could ask for anything more? Well, they also have dessert. We had beignets and carrot cake. Freshly remodeled, clean, friendly staff and free parking. While they do a lot of DoorDash business, get out and come down in person to get it fresh.Parking: They actually have it, which is sort of amazing around here.

Nicole Simones: Their full sided wings are incredible crispy steamy and seasoned with perfection! Their wood fire grilled pizza is delicious the crust is amazing.

Anthony Hoffman: Love this place. The pizzas are fun and most importantly tasty. They are also good value for the money.Service is super friendly as well!

Ashnet St: Fantastic pizzas and more! My friends and I tried it out for the first time today and were very impressed with the food and service. All staff were welcoming and even gave us free desert for our first visit! Building was clean and modern, but the food was the highlight! Several options to choose from, but still had the basics, all one medium size. Pizzas were savory and absolutely delicious while the fruit Nutella pizza we ordered was refreshing and not too sweet. Overall, definitely a wonderful experience and I look forward to visiting again!Kid-friendliness: Plethora of options to choose from, but safe go-to's are also available.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and seating available for people with wheelchairs.

Tenant Restaurant: what do users think?

Eleanor Frisch: This is the finest dining in Minneapolis, hands down. I went in February 2024 and everything was executed with meticulous care. Every single dish was perfectly balanced. There was nothing superfluous, nothing too heavy, nothing too acidic. The wine pairings were well thought out. Also, none of the staff forgot I was a pescatarian at any point. It was also the perfect amount of food. For the quality of the food the prices were extremely reasonable. I have been to most of the fine dining establishments in the Metro and don't think the others, like Travail or Spoon and Stable, which are amazing in their own right, can really compare to Tenant. This is where you bring a true foodie if you want to impress them.

Bethany Charlsen: We've dined here many times and every meal is a unique experience. It's an ideal place to come with friends or just your partner to sit back and enjoy the creativity and care of the chefs and staff. I love that the kitchen staff serves the food as you can tell from the passion in their descriptions, they are proud and eager to share it with you.The bar next door is a perfect place for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail which is a huge bonus! In addition, you can bring your own wine and enjoy with the meal for a very reasonable corkage fee.

Revival MPLS: what do users think?

Jewel Ryan: I went here for a friend's birthday and they happily accommodated a group of 7 even thought they are quite small for a restaurant. I initially thought their prices were fairly high for chicken, but then I received my food. I ordered the chicken tender plate, and I swear I got 4 MASSIVE chicken tenders. It's definitely different from what I was expecting but worth the cost. They were a bit difficult to eat because of their size, but I had leftovers for days. Would recommend for a nice relaxed group of friends. Order the lowest spice level unless you really do like spicy. One of my friends was sweating eating their middle tier chicken tenders haha.

Matthew Schepp: On a recent trip back to Minneapolis, we dined at Revival for the first time in a few years. This updated location has added parking which was a great touch! The menu, and food is still as fantastic as it always has been!

The Mindful Midlife Crisis Podcast (Billy Lahr): It's been a while since I've been to Revival, so I'll just talk about my first few experiences, which were awesome. I still believe this is the best burger in town, and when you can order a whole Nashville Hot Chicken as a complement to that tasty burger, what's not to love? I know there are a couple of Revival restaurants in the TC now, but I like the intimate atmosphere this one provides. The best experiences I've had is when I bring 2-3 friends with me who are from out of town and we order a bunch of different menu items. They all rave about how amazing the food is here. I don't live in MN anymore, but I hope the quality of the food at Revival is still at a high level the next time I'm back in town! Highly recommend!

Latasha Dyar: Atmosphere was good low key ...good food.

Brasa Premium Rotisserie- Northeast Minneapolis: what do users think?

Hello World: Ordered the plate for rotisserie with corn bread with the sides of rice and black bean. The company does not take tip as its part of their culture.Definitely supporting this business moving forward.Parking: Parking can be busy.

Alyssa Hernandez: Rotisserie chicken plate with green sauce was perfection. Yuca fries were great. Mac and cheese and corn bread were delicious. Personally I’d pass on the plantains and creamed spinach. But this food was soooo good.Food: 5/5 …

Laurisa Donte: I rook a work meeting here and agreed based on the experience of the person who invited me.I'm so glad we did this. The food was so good that it was hard to focus on business. I asked my waiter about every dish I saw coming from the kitchen.I'll be back!Next time, I'm trying the chicken bowl.Enjoyed my fried fish, by the way seasoned to perfection and with spice. The famous green sauce....MORE PLEASE.They didn't have cheese grits, but I had the Mac and Cheese instead. Whew, I just needed a little more cheese on top, but I still could not stop eating it once I started.Closest to Southern style I have experienced up here.I had the Yuca fries and requested them hot PEPPAS!!!Oh, and did I mention the corn in the cornbread 😋... the way I make it at home.GET YOU SOME BRASA. 😀

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers: what do users think?

Daniel T.: Canes has delicious chicken fingers and their food quality is always top notch. Their goal is to specialize in just one thing, chicken fingers. They're as tasty as anyone's. I haven't had a chicken sandwich here, but I'm sure they're very good. Also, even if there's a long line at Cane's, they still are fast at expediting orders. I do find that it's better that I don't go to Cane's too often. Because it's the same thing every time, if you go there too often, it gets a bit repetitive. Therefore I wait a while before a return visit and then I appreciate it more. Only one time I had a problem there. I got my Cane's take out order, when I got home and when I realized they forgot to include the toast. I called that Cane's restaurant and they had me talk with a manager. He was very apologetic and he gave me a free dinner for my next visit. I appreciate what they did.

Bap and Chicken: what do users think?

Ben Koch: Gonna miss this place. Love the bimbap and gonchujang.Recommended dishes Sauce, Korean Fried Chicken Gochujang …

V Ray: and I was excited to take the girls. There were several booths with small businesses selling their beautiful handmade k-pop jewelry, shirts & hats and various other items. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but we all had a lot of fun today. There were so many unique and beautiful handmade crafts on display that it was hard to choose what to buy! This was our first visit to Bap & Chicken. I truly enjoyed the experience and the conversation that the owner

Barbara Korf: Where do you go when Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday? Bap and Chicken! Great food. Great Service. No pretense. I had the signature dish, Bap and Chicken. It was so delicious! My husband had the Bulgogi Bap. Also delish! We never had Bap before and the manager could tell. She saw us carefully eating the individual items in our bowl so she came over and explained that the point of Bap is to mix it all up. It was great and I appreciated the advice. She also recommended the sparkling sake. I don't like champagne but now I know that I like sparkling sake. Overall a fun date night.

Greg Wilson: Excellent fast-casual place for Korean fried chicken or bibimbap. Lots of options to customize and a few vegetarian options like veggies and fried or marinated tofu. Really good happy hour and lunch specials. The service was excellent and it seems like a super friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the ownership. We got the friend tofu happy hour special, crispy rice tots, and KFC bibimbap. Tofu was awesome. Lightly battered and fried, great soft interior with a crispy outside, and nice dusting of gochujang seasoning. Crispy rice tots are amazing; definitely recommend. Kimchi was very mild but the sauce has a nice flavor with a bit of kick. I'd definitely go back for lunch or happy hour if in the areaVegetarian options: Vegetables and fried or marinated tofu are available for most stuff. The appetizer is really good.

been’there: Good Korean restaurant with friendly owner and staff. Freshly homemade Korean food with fresh ingredients. For sure it’s not like you go to Korea or Koreatown but it’s a neighborhood restaurant with a very good Korean twist where the food is cooked with fresh ingredients. They don’t have a large menu but it’s a decent size menu for the neighborhood it’s located at. There is outside seating the the summer too. It’s located in a good part of town and their entire menu is worth trying.

Aaron Doepner: I never knew what to order but finally gave it a shot. I had the Korean dummies and fried rice and both were amazing. Ordering it for the second time this week

Laura Johnson: I LOVE THE BUILD-A-BAP

Zong Txue Thao: Love love love Bap and Chicken! This will definitely be my new to go place. I've eaten at a lot of korean restaurants and not alot of places have really good kimchi?? This place has good kimchi in their chicken bibimbap! Their chicken is Krispy and they fill your bowl to the top with all their ingredients. If you haven't given this place to try, you'll want to! Dining service was wonderful, the worker kept coming to ask us how the food was and was super friendly. Water and utensils are self served! I also have to say, the outside of the restaurant looks like an advertising company and nothing like a restaurant. However, once you enter in, you could tell they've put in some effort to make the place Instagram worthy! Definitely do not judge this book by its cover and try this place. I definitely recommend it! -from one korean food lover to another. You won't regret it!!My favorite order:The chicken bibimbap bowlHangover friend rice "house rice"

Chris Buchanan: Ordered online for take-out. When I arrived to claim my order, the host look concerned when she realized that a food delivery driver had mistakenly grabbed my order. Since it was the last whole chicken meal they had prepped for the night, she refunded my payment and gave me the option to order anything thing else on the menu at no charge. While I wasn't thrilled with the situation, I have to award them a 5-star review for correcting the issue to their best ability with no excuses, only apologies. The 3-piece boneless thighs were a great substitution. Will return!

Handsome Hog: what do users think?

Galaxy Sii: was incredible

Isaac Manchego: This is an excellent spot for a variety of reasons. In addition to delicious food and excellent cocktails, the Hog is a dynamic setting where you can sit/dine in the bar area or host special events in the back dining area. The ambiance is relaxed and background music, mostly 90s Hip-hop and R&B, sets the mood. The staff is welcoming and efficient and cannot say enough good things about Jorge and Bree. Jorge made hosting an event at the Hog an easy process and our server Bree took care of every person at this 50-person event. All the guests complimented the space and the food during and afterwards.

Craig Martin: I got the combo #5 and poutine so I could try a few things. The combo #5 came with a lot of food. The brisket was a little dry to my liking but the ribs were very good. The bbq sauce is too sweet for me. I ended up combining it with the cry baby Craig's and that was really tasty.Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the cocktails. It can be a little expensive but we would go back.
