They also basically curated our whole "day of" schedule which helped immensely..and because of their knowledge and expertise our wedding was a serious success!! Lacking the ability to conceptualize our vision for the wedding, I’d throw an idea at them and they would come up with something far more beautiful that still fell within our taste. They were quick to respond, creative, organized and, perhaps most important, passionate about their work. Truly everything you’d want out of wedding coordinators. When I was concerned about things falling through the cracks with vendors, they had already taken care of it. When we wanted to incorporate blankets to donate after the wedding, they offered to drop them off knowing we were traveling home right away. When my husband and I had conflicting opinions on welcome cocktails for guests, they suggested a compromise that ended up being a beautiful highlight of the wedding. They’re just the best. We cannot recommend them enough!

Melanie Barnes: I was so glad we hired Pink Peony to manage both our destination wedding in Cabo and our Minneapolis reception. For both, I was able to share my high level designs, wants and wishes and I completely trusted them to execute my perfect day. And they did just that. That meant no stress and all fun for me while planning my wedding!Our Cabo wedding for 100 was a dream and they coordinated all of our destination vendors fantastically. When it came time to have our Minneapolis reception, unfortunately we were impacted by Covid. Pink Peony managed rescheduling everyone once and then when it became clear we would not have our reception in 2020, they managed all of the cancelations. It was heartbreaking to have to walk away from a dream reception with friends but having them manage the tough conversations made it much better. They also helped get back more money and credits than I expected. I am so grateful for them and all they did for our two events!

And she really went above and beyond day of - we brought a lot of decor in ourselves and she set everything up so beautifully and handled vendor coordination flawlessly. Maren Rikess: Stephanie and Alyssa were so professional, so helpful, and had things running so smoothly for our wedding! Steph’s support throughout the final month countdown was the best way to settle any sort of wedding nerves or stress about the big day. Steph set everything up so nicely, and even without doing a ceremony rehearsal, our ceremony flowed perfectly because of the confidence and direction of Steph. Anna Waggener: My partner and I engaged Maven as our day-of coordinator back in 2019 for a 2020 wedding, which we had to postpone. Flash forward to 2022, and Steph was assigned to our event. She was an amazing partner throughout the process, meeting with us in person and by Zoom multiple times to make sure all the details were communicated and we felt comfortable handing things over to her for the day. We also felt that she really got the kind of event we were trying to deliver for our guests, and made suggestions that honored that vision.Day-of, Steph was very present and warm, and she coordinated across all of our vendors to pull off the day and make sure music cues and other details went smoothly. She always had a smile on her face, and if we had any requests, she was able to figure them out. We could not have been happier and we would recommend Maven--and especially Steph, who is a joy to work with--for future events!

Amanda Brown: stress free without Maven. We worked with them on design, florals, and day-of coordination, and for almost a year, answered every question I had and kept me calm and confident my wedding would happen even as I planned in the midst of COVID. The final day was exactly the wedding I wanted - they completely brought it to life.Specifically, Rachael and Shaley, our floral designer and head designer, made our wedding absolutely stunning. It was exactly what we pictured when we first started planning but also somehow better?! The florals were incredible and every detail was so beautiful and unique and cool. When we got our photos back, we just marveled again at how well everything came together. Shaley did our initial design and connected us with all the vendors to make it happen, and Rachael took that initial design and ran with it in her final florals.We also worked with Calley for our day-of coordination, and she made sure everything went amazingly smoothly. She was somehow invisible but everywhere during the night! She made sure everything ran on time, looked great, and even that my husband and I got to eat all the food we wanted. Johnnie Hicks: Rachelle is one of our absolute favorite people in the world. We have been seriously missing her since our wedding ended. She was on top of every last detail of our amazing wedding. She always kept us on track and managed to pull vague ideas out of our heads and create what we couldn’t even imagine. You do need to be ready to do some work too - Rachelle deeply cares about getting every detail right for you so you have to be ready to share honest opinions. We used to get numerous emails and texts every week to keep us on task. I wish there was a Rachelle for our daily lives. Kristen Hindt: Rachelle is amazing! I knew we needed to hire a planner for our wedding the moment we got engaged, because I didn't even know where to start. After speaking to a few planners, we met with Rachelle and instantly clicked with her. We could tell that she was highly organized, was well-connected within the industry and had great design sense. Although we didn't have to postpone our wedding due to COVID, there were many related considerations to navigate throughout the 1.5 year-long planning process, and I greatly appreciated Rachelle's frankness, level-headed attitude and communication throughout.She did a great job tracking and sticking to our budget, and advising us on where we could save money and where it would be best to spend a little more. We were extremely happy with all of the vendors she recommended to us, and she did a great job of tying in the vibe/design of the wedding among the vendors. We had a coordinator originally assigned to us, but when one of our vendors couldn't get a hold of our original coordinator, we reached out to SEG and found out that coordinator was no longer with SEG. I wish SEG had been proactive in letting us know when our coordinator left; even though we only had day-of services, our vendors still needed our contact from SEG in the months before the wedding.

Kayla Hollatz: quotes from multiple vendors to coordinating our rehearsal and wedding day, we're so happy with the experience we had with SEG and our planner Kristen. She was very decisive, clear, and strategic in all of our conversations, helping us stay focused on the task at hand so I never had to guess on what I needed work on that week or month. Our situation was unique in that we weren't able to plan most of our wedding until the last two months before our wedding date because of COVID, so seeing how fast the SEG team was able to move was super inspiring. They even helped us with little tweaks we made when we changed our vision to host a intimate wedding, like playing "DJ" with our ceremony songs on a Spotify playlist and recording a Facebook Live video so our family and friends could feel like they were there with us on the day. Our planner Kristen even sent me a video of our first dance since our videographer already left and she knew we'd want to relive that moment later. kaitlyn satterfield: When I found out that the hotel required us to have a day of coordinator I was a little annoyed. I didn't think that I needed anyone to help us plan a wedding let alone help us on the day of. Oh, how I was wrong. I was able to plan most of the wedding myself but when we were a month out and Ashley Carpenter stepped in, I could not have asked for everything else. She was truly a godsend. With work being crazy. Having another person there sending all the important emails, making sure I was in the loop, asking me every question to make sure it went accordingly was absolutely amazing. I think Ashley's present the day of is when I truly understood how lucky I was to have her there. Being able to actually enjoy my wedding day is something I will be eternally grateful for the rest of my life. However, I think the part that I enjoyed most was that I felt like I was sharing my day with a friend, not a planner. I never had to ask for anything to be done, because she was either already on it or asking me if I need anything else to have a good time. She helped plan the wedding of my dreams with my budget. I am most grateful for all of Kerry’s hard work the week leading up to our wedding and of course the day of. She stepped in, took away the stress and allowed me to just enjoy every moment. While looking for a wedding planner, I wanted someone who could execute our vision so my husband and I could soak in the day. Court: We hired Lindsay the week of and WOW are we glad we did. I'm not sure what I was thinking not having a day of coordinator. I thought I could do it all then as I met with the manager of my venue and had final meetings with vendors I quickly realized I did not want to be the go to person. I also did not want any of my family members to be that person because I wanted them to enjoy the day as well. From the second Lindsay came into the picture I felt relaxed and way more comfortable with how the flow of the day would go. Zoey Alch: I don't even know where to begin! From the very beginning Ashley created a sense of calm within the wedding planning process, which is the exact opposite of how most people ever expect to feel. As a person who always wants to know what's going on and be a part of the planning I knew that it would be a challenge to trust someone else, but Ashley somehow defied this. I was able to put my full trust into her and in doing so she created the most magical, beautiful and happy day my husband and I could have ever dreamed of. I found myself trying to find things to stress about because she was so on top of it I had nothing to actually worry about, it was the most incredible year of wedding planning only because of Ashley and her team. Ashley has a strong and talented group of women who work along side her and have shown me and my husband nothing but love and and commitment to also helping make our day perfect. Andrew Myers: The attention to detail that Ashley and her team put into our wedding day months and months and months before the actual day is nothing short of remarkable. What we admired most is that she certainly does not just tell you what you want to hear - she gives you the truth. But she doesn't just say no and move on - she is always bringing alternatives to ideas that can bring you as close to your absolute dream as possible. And that is because Ashley has already thought of every possible outcome of every possible scenario before she's even brought it to you. She helped us pick the perfect venue. She negotiated on our behalf countless times. She told us to do our ceremony outside even when the weather was suspect and we were a little nervous. And she was there for every single guest throughout the night if they needed her. Even weeks after the wedding, we had guests texting us and saying how incredible Ashley was throughout the day and how impressed they were with her call to do the ceremony outside - we are forever in debt to her for that. Without Ashley's persistence, work-ethic and patience - I don't even want to think about how stressful the entire process could have been. We already miss her and would recommend her to any and all.

I am not the planning or organizing type, and I was completely overwhelmed with everything that needed to be completed, so Ashley and Poppati took care of everything! The only thing I had booked at that time was a photographer, and they not only found all of our vendors, communicated with them, negotiated discounts, but they kept us in the loop as much or as little as we wanted. Aside from taking care of all the logistics, Ashley is so TALENTED and made our wedding the most unique day! Samantha Joy Hart: I cant praise Poppati events enough. Honestly they are a five start team. Being a 2020 Bride was one of the most challenging experiences. We had to change our date 2x and with all of the rules and restrictions Ashley and her team had to basically start from scratch several times. My wedding wouldn't have happened with out all of her help and expertise. She stayed up to date on all the rules and kept us informed and still pulled off the wedding of my dreams. My caterer dropped a month out from our wedding and Ashley was able to secure a new one at an even better rate for us with no issue. The day of our wedding it was so windy and there were challenges with the set up but I never knew because her team handled it and my day was amazing. If you are looking for a wedding or party planner Poppati is the best. Highly recommend!

They organized our timeline and ensured all of our vendors were informed and on the same page. Their expertise had our day running right on schedule and kept us having fun all night. If there were any hiccups to be solved they handled them quickly because we didn’t hear of any! From taking care of setup, to tear down, and everything in between they made it possible for us to be completely in the moment and just enjoy our day. It’s now months after our wedding and we still have friends and family telling us how amazing our day was. Emma Foyt: Adam and Christina were an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. From our very first meeting, they were the vibe we were looking for - honesty, transparency, and absolutely hilarious. They provided us with all the tools we needed to plan a wedding - Google docs, vendor recommendations, and even decor like centerpieces, easels, etc.! Once our timeline was finished, they communicated it out to all of our vendors for us. On our big day, they set everything but and even packed everything back up and put it in our cars. They made everything so stress free and if something went wrong, we didn't even know about it. We could not be more grateful for everything they did for us.If you don't choose Dos Goats to help with your wedding, you're doing it wrong.

The bridal party was a little slow with hair and makeup, and they made tweaks to our schedule to ensure we still had plenty of time for all of our photos. We decided on their Day-Of Coordination services, but Adam and Christina were engaged and willing to help us from the moment we met with them months before. They both kept us at ease throughout a bulk of our planning and met with us multiple times to discuss decor, timeline, and all sorts of details. We really appreciated having access to their inventory items -- this saved us so much time, thought, and money. It's so apparent that Adam and Christina really care about making your big day as seamless and easy as possible. Our venue was outside of the Twin Cities, and Dos Goats went out of their way to transport our cake and cupcakes all the way there! Anna St. Amant: Adam & Christina were so incredible to work with. We were recommended to them by a friend and after meeting them once, we knew they were the coordinators for us. They were incredibly helpful with every details leading up to the wedding. They answered all of our questions and were able to provide so much insight as we made decisions. From suggesting the venue, to cleaning mud off the hem of my dress, and everything in between they were an absolute dream to work with. I wish we could get married again so we could continue working with them.
Katie Macioch: This review is long overdue, but I had to share how much we loved and appreciated having Adam and Christina as part of our wedding day.We were not having a wedding party, and we wanted our friends and family to enjoy the day without having to help with anything, so we know we wanted to work with a wedding planner of some sort. We had originally reached out to them back in Fall 2019 for a wedding in January 2021. Once we met we knew we wanted to work with them and we are so glad we did. They know so many trusted wedding contacts from around the twin cities and almost all of our vendors came from their recommendations. With everything going on with Covid in January 2021, we decided to postpone a year to January 2022 and they were really a godsend during that time. Any time I had a moment of panic on vendors changing, getting sick, new mask and vaccine restrictions a week before, last minute guest count changes, they were there to help us and work through it as well as just helping with normal wedding questions.We ended up having our wedding and reception at Watson Block for about 60 guests and the whole day was perfect. We truly didn’t have to worry about a thing and we were sad when it was time to say goodbye to them at the end of the night! If you have made it this far down the review and are considering hiring Dos Goats, do it, you won’t regret it. They will help make your day amazing!
Hailey Andrashko-Wilson: We used Dos Goats for day of coordination but they do so much more than that! My husband was unsure about a day of coordinator for our wedding. But after our first meeting, he saw the value they bring. Leading up to our big day, we had multiple meetings to go over details, they gave recommendations, and had a ton of decor we could use. On the big day, I has NO STRESS because of them. They set everything up, coordinated with all vendors, took everything down, and ensured everything went smoothly. I honestly cannot speak highly enough about them. Christina and Adam and a treat to work with. If you are thinking of booking them, do it, do it, do it! I promise, your wedding will go off without a hitch with them!
Joshua Siebenaler: We hired Dos Goats about a year and a half ahead of our wedding and hired them for the day-of package. Adam, Christina, and Jory were all wonderful partners throughout our planning process and during the day-of.Perhaps the best value was Dos Goats' rental items -- we used their lanterns, candles, arches, and I think more? They made up a lot of our wedding decor, and their options are always growing!The planning spreadsheets that they provide are very helpful, though they are a little daunting if you aren't mentally prepared. Some are a little redundant, but they are still a useful framework.Highly recommend their services, and we're grateful to have had them in our corner.
anna king: Dos goats plans was phenomenal! Easy going and so fun to work with. Both Adam and Christina are well networked and we’re such an effective resource in planning our perfect wedding. We chose the wedding day management plan which helped us really know Dos Goats and feel so trusting in their work. Any question, and decor item, any balloon installation they have it, know someone with it or who can do it. Day of Adam and Christina were organized, attentive, and so supportive.
Rachel Klaven: Adam and Christina were wonderful to work with! They won’t be for everyone – they have a very chill and laid-back approach which was a little hard for me to calibrate to at first, but I actually ended up really liking their energy because it helped balance out mine. 😊They met with us a few times before the actual day-of to give us input on the planning, and they answered lots of random questions about logistics, vendors, etc. along the way which was awesome. Another HUGE advantage of hiring them was being able to use all of their decorations for free – this definitely saved us hundreds of dollars. Even the arch was theirs! They were usually super fast to respond to emails. A few times they were unresponsive, but once I would re-send the email they would usually reply right away. Overall I would definitely recommend them if you want a chill and highly experienced duo who can provide a lot of great knowledge and décor.
Jenine Knoll: Absolutely the best planners available in the twin cities. Adam and Christina are beyond organized and efficient; they have great contacts and provide a high quality planning tool. I am a project manager on multi million dollar global programs and I could not be happier with how they worked with us for an entire weekend of activities. My 84 year old mother still is taking about her delight over Adam’s excitement to show her and my mother-in-law the floral arrangements in the reception area. Their ownership of the events made them feel like the most fun, cool, smartest family members you could dream of because you cannot believe anyone who isn’t family would have that much passion for your wedding. Kelsey Japs: Adam and Christina are an amazing, professional team with fabulous calming, great energy vibes. We hired them to help us plan our wedding. In the process of finding them, we interviewed about 6 planners and really only connected with Adam and Christina. Being out of state, we were worried about everything related to wedding planning plus we were new at this, so there was a lot of things we didn’t know and they helped us fill in the gaps. They helped us through the entire process from selecting an amazing vendor team that met our goals and vibes of our wedding to ensuring that our special day ran smoothly. Everything was so much more intimate and loving and beautiful than what our “big” wedding would’ve been. My fiancé and I decided to book her to help us with event design and day-of coordination only at our church, as our venue came with a day-of coordinator. Meghan was extremely helpful in guiding us with the little details and making sure we were always on track with our timeline and wedding tasks. Once we realized covid would be affecting our wedding, Meghan was a great resource to talk through how our day might look differently and what our options would be if we decided to postpone our wedding. We eventually decided to move forward with our wedding, cutting down our expected guest count from 300 to 100 people and are so glad that we did. Meghan gave me vendor recommendations throughout the planning process and was consistently checking in with us. She is hands down the most responsive vendor that we had for our wedding and this was so appreciated especially in the midst of so many unknowns with covid. The one aspect of working with Meghan that really stands out occurred one month before our wedding when our florist said she was no longer comfortable setting up our flowers or centerpieces on our wedding day due to covid. This was a huge letdown as I had really banked on her bringing our vision to life with our decorations. She has a digital check list so I could see the full list, check off items and see when things were coming up. It kept my stress in check!You will have the BEST time with your virtual and in person meetings!! I never wanted them to end. We would go over our to-dos or any vendors and work together to make the vision come to life. All the hours spent together making decisions was my favorite part.Unlimited phone and email communication with your Lead Planner throughout the entire planning process - I CAN TELL YOU THIS PART OF THE CONTRACT IS REAL! I could NOT believe how timely I would get a response and how helpful. Again, I always felt like her priority and felt so special.The coordinators day of were amazing too. She has the BEST team that will bring all the fun during planning and day of! They always put your thoughts and ideas first and always make sure everything is well planned. They are both professional and very friendly. What we liked the most is the simplicity of the way things worked out for our wedding. We made a couple of online meetings and voila a perfect wedding just like what we had on our minds. Kudos to the bouquet provider as well for the beautiful flowers and what a surprise, we only asked for 10 stems but we ended up having 15 for each bouquet and that is going an extra mile for us. I looked at getting married at the courthouse or another small venue. However, I really wanted to also have some photos, a bouquet and some music and I had a lot going on in my life and when I started thinking about putting that all together, it was stressful. I thought about waiting and going away to Hawaii and eloping because I did not want to plan it all! Then, I found this company online! We met via video and immediately I felt Symones enthusiasm and love of what she does. I did not worry at all, everything just happened! And, the venue was beautiful and reception area set up so nicely. They took care of every detail and I never thought I’d have enjoyed my wedding so much! If you want a small wedding, do not hesitate, message them! Oh, and there is a video live stream for those who cannot attend! The cake was freaking amazing too!! But, mostly, they are the most amazing women!
