Obsessed with this hidden gem! The variety of treats and chocolate is amazing and reasonably priced. The key lime was so tart. German chocolate cake was almost like a brownie texture which I liked. They have a cute little patio area to sit and hangout by the sidewalk/street. We can’t wait to come and get dips and desserts for our future gatherings.

This shop is ran by a friendly hardworking man who is well informed about all the delicious chocolate and gelato.This space is so cute, and there are so many different varieties!

I have really enjoyed them-- not only are they so lovely to look at, but they're also absolutely delicious! He also mentioned his interaction with the shop was helpful and amazing. A+ all around.

I can personally confirm the delectability of the dark chocolate bar with candied orange, the cashew bear paw, and the lemon polenta cookies. 😉 I look forward to trying everything else they have!
Rima: I was looking for ice cream shops on Google and came across this highly rated chocolatier/gelato/dessert shop so we went and checked it out. One of the gentlemen greeted us as soon as we walked in and was very kind and told us about their offerings. He gave us a sample of their European style “sipping” hot chocolate which was so delicious and rich. We were there to get gelato which they don’t serve in the fall/winter, but they had pints and cups in the freezer for purchase. We got a cup of the chocolate hazelnut, which had chopped hazelnuts inside, and a cup of the tres leches, which was out of this world—it was so thick and delicious. I also got a double chocolate sourdough brownie to try later and it tasted like fudge. If you love chocolate and gelato, I highly recommend checking them out! Their goods are a bit on the pricier side, but worth it for the quality and for supporting a small business. It looks like a gift shop when you walk in, which I was not expecting, but they have their desserts, including chocolates, cookies, cakes, and pastries, on display.

Mike Boardley: The chocolate is nice. It’s good but not the best I’ve had. I went in there to buy a box of chocolates for Mother’s Day but they really didn’t have a selection of boxed chocolates. They had like 3 small square boxes. So I ended up choosing a few individual wrapped pieces of chocolate. I bought a cashew cluster for myself and the rest are for a Mother’s Day gift. The cashew cluster I had was good. Bottom line, I’m more of a fan of Candyland.

LOL Except for See's Candies I've never been into a candy store that offered so many dark chocolate options. I love how many dark chocolate options were available. They offered a dark chocolate alternative for just about everything they offered. The dark chocolate sponge candy is hands down my favorite. That stuff is like crack, I'm happy and sad all at the same time that I only bought one piece. The gentleman helping us out was super nice and very patient. After we left Minnesota, I learned that unique popcorn is a thing, so now I'm bummed I didn't get popcorn as well. If you're in downtown Minneapolis run, don't walk to Candyland.

What's also fun is the Minnesota themes in some of their chocolates. It is definitely worth ordering online or stopping at the store... you won't be disappointed.

Prices are not that bad for specialty candies. Convenient location, lots of parking, cute store, nice service. Will go again although the chocolate mints I bought seemed a little stale.

Well I’m So glad I did! They have chocolate shaped everything! Cats, bandaids, even the shape of Minnesota in a chocolate! If you live in the Twin Cities you must take time to stop here! The two working the day I came in were just lovely!! They let me take all these pics for google maps.

L. James: Well...the chocolate isn't made from any old family recipe. It's purchased in large bulk squares, then melted down and poured into various whimsical shapes. BUT- the chocolate they use is very good, very tasty and very high quality. It's just not made from scratch but that doesn't mean it's not delicious!
