Jeff W: With summer approaching it was time to get my central ac checked out and ready for the hot summer ahead. When Brad arrived he explained the process. Brad changed my furnace filter and turned off my April Air. He went outside checked and cleaned my ac system. Then he finally helped me program my thermostat. Brad was excellent. He answered all my questions. I highly recommend Standard Heating and Air Conditioning.

Alison: I spoke with a gentleman regarding an air return cavity. I was in the middle of a remodeling project and was unsure about the next steps. I emailed pictures & he gave me his recommendation. I’m very appreciative for the help he gave over the phone and in an email. I was able to complete my project immediately. I will definitely call Mill City for an any future problems or maintenance.
Torrance Beavers: During the last stretch of negative temperature we had a radiator freeze and crack. We called around and decided to go with Mill City Heating and cooling for the repair. I'm so happy we did. A professional, friendly, and knowledgable staff and technicians. Not only did they do a great job of installing the new radiator but when we called with concerns they answered all our questions and even walked me through how to maintain the boiler pressure over the phone until they could arrive to fix. Top notch service!!! I would absolutly recommened for anyone having heating issues!

They reviewed the project and provided a bid, we hired them and upon final payment, it was EXACTLY the same amount as their original bid
John Krech: and they were amazing. We were remodeling a house in Southwest Minneapolis that was down to the studs so we had many contractors through our place and Mill City was the best. You know someone is good when other people in the trades and even the inspectors ask who did the work. This was not a flip, we live in this house and the system has been working great. One thing I liked best is their final price was Navid’s original bid. I found them to be very professional and deliver high quality work for a good value. We have had them do work in another property and have referred them to family and friends and everyone has had the same experience.
tim: I had Mill City replace furnace and air conditioner in 4000 sq. ft. home. I don’t like to shop but spent time learning more then I needed to know about internal part manufacturers, brand performance history, air flow, proper sizing, and value points on HVAC efficiency. Then I met with 5 contractors. Mill City brought an “A” game at the “C” player price point and that was my concern when I selected them. If the analogy is a professional athlete they outplayed the contract. I am way more than happy with the job they did and do/have recommend them to anyone wanting the best value with least hassle.

We hired Mill City Heating & Cooling to install a new high-efficiency furnace and air conditioner. They also installed and modified the duct work to the new mechanical room location. Bryan Halicki: My shower head in my 1928 Minneapolis home was leaking while my tub faucet was running for the past few months. I called Soderlin on 9/27 to diagnose and repair the issue. Their office picked up immediately and worked with my schedule to have someone arrive the next day. They sent Joel, a professional plumber with over 20 years of experience. He contacted me ahead of my appointment the morning of 9/28 and was prompt and early. He ran a few diagnostics and gave me a couple options to potentially fix the issue. He recommended the inexpensive option first which I went with. He replaced the shark bite fitting with a copper connection, and the shower head no longer leaked. The problem was due to a bad shark bite connection that was constricting the water flow and backing up to the shower head. Joel was professional, courteous, and explained the issue in easy to understand terms. Soderlin hourly rates were very reasonable, especially with their team like Joel that have decades of experience. I should have called them months ago to fix my issue. I received a 5 star service experience from them. I saved their business card for my fridge. They are my new go-to plumber for any of my plumbing needs. Thanks Soderlin Plumbing & Heating for the great experience!

After a few unsuccessful attempts with other companies, I was happy to find Endless Quality and Comfort and to support a Northside business. They answered immediately and have great processes in place to provide a quote, pay a deposit, and inform their customers of the status of their appointment in English and Spanish. They were able to obtain a permit, install a new fan, and connect the vent to the roof fast because as it turns out, the humid air had been blowing into the attic the whole time! I’m thankful they saved the structure of the house from any future damage and highly recommend.

James Dietrich: After a suspicious "requirement" to replace my furnace from a Big Box HVAC company, I called Welter Heating. Travis showed up, took a look, and found that someone had adjust the gas pressure way to high, causing more flame, more combustion, and more CO2 emissions. Travis adjusted the gas to the proper level and found emissions were fine. Gave some suggestions for airflow, but didn't try to "sell" me anything. This will be my GoTo HVAC company from now on.

Kyle Wesely: David with Freedom did a large project for me as part of a basement remodel, and did an excellent job! Scope of work included a new furnace and A/C unit, re-configured duct work to allow for more ceiling space for a new basement bedroom, and a number of new gas lines. As part of the larger basement project, David had to coordinate a number of items with the plumber I had hired, and he did a great job playing nice and working well with the other contractor. The electricians Freedom subcontracted, JZ Electric, did excellent work as well.David consistently had an eye on suggestions for improvements that could be done, when other contractors would simply be trying to install new HVAC systems, get paid, and get out. The staff workers that did the majority of the work were friendly, respectful, and helpful with all my questions. Freedom's office staff were also on top of everything, and were helpful whenever I needed something from them.I couldn't be happier I chose to work with Freedom, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Ryan Maurer: Quick and Professional Water Heater ReplacementCame downstairs one morning to find the floor outside the utility room was soaking wet. Traced the trail of water back to the water heater and identified the leak coming from the bottom of the tank, not a good spot as this is basically a death sentence for a water heater.Regardless of cause, I had to cut off the water line to the heater and drain it to stop the leak. So now I have no water which I don't think my wife or 5 month old, who uses cloth diapers which require some serious hot water to wash, will appreciate.I called Hovde and spoke to Sue who was incredibly helpful and genuinely wanted to get someone out to me as soon as possible given the situation. I had to make one quick insurance call after getting an estimate and Hovde was onsite the next day with a new water heater.Less than two hours after ringing my doorbell I had hot water again, basically it was plumbing magic.10/10 Would use again.

They were here the next morning, worked hard, and even came in $200+ under the initial estimate. Couldn't be more pleased. Hello Partner: I coordinate vendor services a lot with a lot of vendors I’d say Jayhawk is up there. I think Kyle is the MVP, always helpful and will walk you though diagnostics for small things and spare you a service charge. Often a tech can’t explain or understand things about the issue and it’s a big headache to get accurate service. Kyle always slows down and makes sure, helps with terminology, gets down to the bottom of what’s going on, and doesn’t just throw his hands in the air like it’s impossible to get device details. He is able to communicate about everting very well. Shout out to Kyle: I work with a lot of service providers and I don’t think any of them do as good of a job at understand they problem, the options for solutions, kicking around numbers and getting the job scheduled without rechanneling those details.If every service provider was like Kyle I’d save tens of thousands of dollars each year from folks who will not listen to primary diagnostics, charging to fix what we already relayed was not the issue, and he won’t push back like you must be not know how to change an air filter.Thanks Kyle. Dynasty Electrical Services Inc: Hands down, Boehm is the go-to HVAC contractor in St. Paul - no competition. We've been working for them as a sub-contractor for a few years now, and let me tell you, they're on a whole other level. Their work is top-notch quality, their service is unmatched, and they're basically setting the standard in the industry. If you need HVAC help, these are the folks to call - you'll thank me later!
Olivia Wilsson: We had a wonderful experience with Boehm. Our boiler went out during a snowstorm on a Sunday, and the house was below 60 degrees with three animals. Boehm's after hours emergency line got our technician, Tom, on the phone quickly, and he came out to the house within half an hour. He explained the issue to us in full detail, replaced the busted thermo-couple, and also did some additional maintenance on the boiler. He showed us how to run some regular maintenance ourselves and gave us some helpful information about our boiler's lifespan and care. The next morning, the heat was out again, so he came right back and explained that the gas valve was likely the culprit, which he hasn't replaced the first day because it's more expensive and the thermo-couple was the first line of defense. He replaced the gas valve and the heat was back on before 10am. The price was fair and he even waived the labor fee for the second day, as it was connected to the original issue. Very clean and quick work! We will definitely continue to use Boehm!

They arrived on time, used top quality materials, did an outstanding job, cleaned up completely and their price was reasonable. In addition we got to spend time with Jeff Boehm who is a really nice guy. Can’t imagine anyone could do a better job.

Tracy Utech: I have had Aqua City out to do a few jobs in my homes. I have had toilets replaced, natural gas grills hooked up, garbage disposals replaced, faucet replaced, and clogged drains cleared. I would highly recommend this company. They show up, are very professional in their appearance, wear shoe protectors to keep your floor clean, and leave the work site cleaner than when they got there. I would highly recommend this company. Plumbing is not something you should try to do yourself. Make sure you hire a competent, highly trained and experienced plumber! Call Aqua City!

Frank Arce: After calling three different companies I tried Fast Response and they were the only company that said they could come out within the hour and have it fixed at the regular rate. Since it was Friday afternoon and almost 4 o'clock my options with the other companies were to wait until Monday or pay a ridiculous emergency fee.My kitchen sink was clogged with no hope of draining even after several of my own attempts. Adrian was at my door 30 minutes after making the service request. He was very professional. He cleared the clog and showed me where it was at as well as educate me on the harmful effects of drano. I will definitely use this company again.
