Mattocks Park: what do users think?

Jeff Hauck: I love the community trucks and digger collection! Great spot for a bday party too!

Mark Meier: Great playground equipment, always a few kids around for our kids to meet and play with.

Amy Workman: Very pretty spot for a fall playground visit. Toys! People have created a collection of construction toys, sand toys, cars, etc. It's awesome. Mix of old and new equipment. Feels like a closer to nature playground. Bigger kid side is sand, but not annoying for some reason, maybe all the leaves help. Little kid side is rubber pad. Nice tennis courts. No bathrooms and don't try Oxendale's, but there's a gas station a few blocks away.Restrooms: NonePicnic area: Lots of picnic tables.

Les Pearson: Well there's always a lot of kids with her grown-ups there

Megan: Good park with a playground and picnic benches

Kane Loukas: One of the few neighborhood parks with a well-shaded playground. My kids are older now, but well maintained tennis courts and a fun playground.Playground: Nice and shady for hot days.

L A: Street parkingPlayground: Nice area and there are actual toys laying around for kids.sanitizer. The tennis court was very active.Restrooms: Portapotty, portajohn only. I hate those but was traveling through and was desperate. It did have the dispenser for hand cleaner. After touching the handle to get out I used my own sanutizer.Dog-friendliness: We had our little dog on it's leash and he was happy. Very quiet park when we were there.Picnic area: Shady areas, concrete tables.

Chip Walton: Great spread of playscapes and play areas. Nice and shady throughout the day thanks to cover of large trees. A few picnic tables among nice flower beds.

Stephanie D.: Four years later, we went back with a new little one. He loves it. Kids get to be kids here. They’re climbing trees, playing in sand, swinging and having so much fun. This is hands down a wonderful secret park.Fun park, lots of shade and picnic tables. Play areas for young kids and older ones.

Nick Peters: Great place to walk the dog. It would be nice to get all of the park lights working.

Bossen Field Park: what do users think?

Jay Villegas: Great flat field for playing grass volleyball during the summer

Paul Vaillancourt: Great park for the kids

C L Rautio: was a nice visit on a sunny day

Chris Bryant: This is my favorite place to suntan

Bryan Baker: Beautiful and friendly place to watch a game, walk your dog or just sit and enjoy the airplanes coming in and out over head…

Dylan Gregori Singer (symmetricalboy): This is a big, beautiful space where the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League can often be found playing. 😘 The park is dominated by the baseball diamonds. But there's still plenty of room to walk, a public pool, a really unique looking & interesting playground area, & lots of space to just run around & get some fresh air. I will say to its detriment though, there are lots of areas with no shady spots in sight, & the proximity to the airport means it can be noisy as heck.Playground: A very unique hexagon tiled dome structure is the main event in the playground area. There's enough other stuff around to check out to keep the little ones occupied for a while.Restrooms: There is a permanent structure with a bunch of restrooms, but it is always locked, it seems. Every time I've been there, there are several port-a-potties around at least.Dog-friendliness: There are signs on all the baseball diamond fences that say no dogs allowed, but I believe that specifically means not on the diamond, as opposed to not at the park at large. Either way, there are always dogs there, & nobody has ever batted an eye.Picnic area: There are some grills & a few spots you could set up near the playground & pool space, but not a ton in the way of tables, just benches about.

Rosie Staunton: Park is well kept and cut. Nice option with food setup.

Kerry Busby: My children really like this playground. Bring toilet paper or baby wipes in case anyone needs to use the bathroom. Swimming area is fairly clean but you can smell the bathroom waste when there.Playground: Suited for all ages.Restrooms: Normally out of toilet paper.

Christian's Lum: You may see one of my videos as an airplane is going over. This park is just on the outskirts of the airport and when the planes go over there so close but yet not too loud. You can see the landing gear drop and pure detail of the plane in flight. He doesn't have slides but I'll tell you what this will keep the attention.

Lynnhurst Park: what do users think?

Lamma Toui: Great place to play tennis and basketball while kids can go on the playground

E K: despite the Minneapolis Park % Recreation Board's website, this park unfortunately does not have any outdoor pickle ball courts. there are markings on the tennis court, but the demarcations are the wrong dimensions and size. Regardless, this park is lovely and I would come back any other day.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome

Thomas Leeper: This is a nice community park. The splash pool, somewhat uniquely has some fountains in it. The playground could use an update, though, and has a lot of worn off paint and well-loved equipment.

Courtney Sponsel: The playground is older, but still fun. Lots of different levels of playing that kids of all ages can enjoy. I was a little worried about slivers from the wood parts of the playground. There were tennis lessons going on at the tennis courts, people biking and walking around, and quite a few kids playing with adults looking on. There is also a small wading pool with sprinklers, but we didn't use that as it was fairly chilly. Overall a nice experience.Playground: Older, but fun for the kids. Lots of different levels of equipment for younger and older kids.Restrooms: Small building in the middle of the park, seemed to be pretty well kept.Picnic area: There are picnic tables around the playground, also many benches to sit at.

Mary 'Lady' Nguyen Shaw (MERAKI BEAUTY LLC): , kiddie pool/splash pad, basketball court, tennis court, and a walking/biking path around the park. There were also restrooms.

P Ehrlich: Tennis courts, baseball fields, great playground plus a small shallow water area.

K M: .

Jennifer Millons: I love the variety of things the kiddos have to play on. I really enjoy the sand station personally and the sitting pool in the summer.Playground: Playground is just the right size and has a lot of different activities spread out.Restrooms: Restrooms are right by the sitting pool.Dog-friendliness: There is a trail to walk with your fur babies on.Picnic area: There is tables to sit and enjoy a picnic.

Christopher Joseph: Liked the soccer fields

James Allen: SooThe park is built on an old graveyard.🎃Happy Halloween 🎃

Rielle Jones-Teske: Great park with lots of room for activities, volleyball, soccer, basketball, etc.Restrooms: Open during the summer.Picnic area: Has a big covered area with tables and grills.

Marao22fagnr: Clean, spacious, to practice sports while the children have fun.

Paola Ochoa Balbás: It is very nice and quiet

Savannah Block: . When Beltrami became a park many remaining gravestones were moved, but they didn't move the corpses. At least not most of them. There are at least 3,700 people buried underneath the fairly large park. There are even a handful of gravestones and markers left if you keep your eyes peeled. And I know all of this may sound incredibly morbid, but the history behind local places is pretty neat. Especially in such a tiny neighborhood.

Heather Kurth: It's a great place to hang out and enjoy the neighborhood!

Strangegurl44: Interesting history and you can play a cool game of "find the gravestones" with your kids

Cory VanVickle: Nice park, I play in a bocce league there that is a lot of fun. Lots of activity including soccer and pickup hoops. Court looks nice, never shot a basket though. In the evening bathroom access can be limited and had a few instances of some less than savory activities going on in said bathroom but such is life in the big city.

Sarah Brown: Lots of trees and shade, big playground, nice wading pool.
