From the knowledgeable greeters to the wait staff to Tom the bartender, everyone worked so well as a team to take such good care of all our club members. They truly made our event memorable with how they served us. Appetizers came out fresh, tasty and nonstop. Our main course was served simultaneously to all table members which was really neat!!! I highly recommend MEC for your next event! You will NOT be disappointed! These guys are top notch and know what they are doing.

Celisia Stanton: I am the owner of Celisia Stanton Photography, and one of my clients held their intimate wedding at The Neu Neu. The Neu Neu is a fantastic venue!! The getting-ready rooms have huge windows with tons of natural light, allowing us to capture indoor photos without struggling with awkward shadows or uneven lighting. The ceremony and reception took place in the same room, and the exposed brick and wood detailing provided the perfect backdrop for a moody, intimate celebration. My clients also made full use of The Neu Neu's outside space by setting up a badminton court, hiring the Style Society to provide an outdoor lounge area, and providing a Revere food truck for their guests to enjoy. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are beautiful, and I'd highly recommend The Neu Neu to anyone looking for a great venue in the heart of Minneapolis.
Chelsey: Our guest list ended up being a little larger than we originally anticipated, but Kitty and team were there to help us figure out a layout that ended up working perfectly. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue. Our bridal party also adored the Natural Light Studio & the 3rd St. Studio. Thank you Neu Neu team for all that you did to help make our day so fabulous!
Amy Lowry: It's a beautiful venue. They lay out is eclectic and interesting. I did not get to stay very long at the event so did not get a feel for the transition from wedding to reception. There is a coffee shop attached which is amazing to me!

Kitty was guiding us from our initial tour in 2021 through creating the floor plan in the months before the wedding, and we couldn't be more grateful. She had great ideas of how to utilize the space, and was very communicative. Abby, the day of coordinator provided with our booking, made the day so smooth and worry-free. Their preferred catering vendors are all great too!

Kevin Engelhardt: for the quiet, well-kept bar that is a hidden gem, and an occasional dinner/meal, when we lived in Northeast Minneapolis. So, when we were returning after a 4-year absence, we HAD to stay at the Nicollet Island Inn. We met friends and family for an afternoon and evening of dining, drinks and fun. We received superb service, unsurmountable attention to detail and delicious, splendid meals. Wow! NII sets the new gold standard for hotels and restaurants. All of us who travel regularly were amazed at the professionalism, genuine care and alacrity that we enjoyed with every encounter, every meal and every conversation. A huge thank you to Issa at the front desk, Brad in the NII bar, and Lillian and Rebecca in the restaurant. Everything was perfect. You impressed everyone who had the pleasure of interacting with each of you.Nearby activities: There is too much in the way of activities that are nearby. You are a 10 minute walk to downtown Minneapolis. You are in the famed Nordeast Minneapolis - just look up Nye's Bar or St. Anthony Main! Interstate 35W is 5 minutes away and the University is a quick drive or bike ride. Centrally located and yet quiet and tucked away from the wild life.Safety: The island is well protected and well-lit. The area is always busy with foot traffic and runners/joggers. The inn does a great job of securing the parking lot and managing their outdoor patio to buffer you from the passers-by. You forget you are in a metropolitan area. They still use physical room keys!! It is classic!Walkability: You can walk anywhere at anytime from the Nicollet Island Inn. The area is constantly "afoot" with St. Anthony Main at your doorstep and downtown Minneapolis just 10 minutes away. Everyone walks in this area no matter the season.Food & drinks: The menu at NII is amazing. Each menu offers great selections with a good range for all appetites. The staff does an excellent job of accommodating food allergen requirements without skipping a beat. The wine list is very well curated and the bartender has years of mixology experience to make you the perfect iteration of any alcoholic beverage. The NII should be at the top of you dining list when in Minneapolis!

David De La Torre: I stayed at this hotel for four days during a conference. This hotel is very close to the conference center, made it very convenient to go back and forth. The service at the hotel and the restaurant was top notch. They upgraded me to a larger room which was like an apartment with 2 baths, an office, lounge master bedroom and huge bathroom. No complaints whatsoever!Nearby activities: Next to convention center and short walking distance to Nicollete Mall and other downtown locations.Walkability: Connected via skywalk to the convention center and short walking distance to everything in downtown.
Chance Sparks: 5-stars for an imperfect stay, because a nice hotel has to be judged by how they respond. We had a major plumbing issue well out of their control involving some kind of broke line. Maintenance was there within 5 minutes, and they had us moved to a new room with keys and a luggage cart within another 5 minutes, along with some credits. That is a level of quality response you just don’t see often, and they should be commended!

Ari Reynolds Photography: Talk about a space that you can use for any event from a bridal show, dinner party and even a wedding! I cannot get over how wonderful Chris and his team are! You will have to check it out for yourself!
Gisela Soto: I have worked with Chris the owner, a few times, and I can say it's a pleasure working with him each and every time! He has the most vibrant energy and you are immediately greeted with a big smile as soon as he sees you! He goes above and beyond to make sure everything is PERFECT for your event, and his willingness to help with everything and accommodate to your preference makes it even better! The space also has so many different amenities to be able to personalize the space, including kitchen space and custom LED lights! Definitely love working at this space, and recommend it to anyone looking for a space to host your special event!
Sarah Hovseth: We hosted our nonprofit staff retreat at The APT and it was fabulous! Chris was so great to work with and with only one week notice. We kept the space set up lounge/living room style and it worked really well with our group of about 15. Everyone felt super comfortable and at ease and very much felt like we were hanging out at someone's home but without the stress of hosting. We will definitely be booking more events here!

Sophia Bui: We used the APT to host our bridal shower and it was perfect! Chris is so responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure that everything is in order. The space makes it easy to decorate and the LED lights are a great touch. We also paid to have the valet service which was a huge plus for all of the guests. I definitely recommend using the APT for any of your events!
Krissy Livingston: I was looking for a space to have a small gathering for a friend’s birthday. I found The APT and contacted Chris for more information. He was so easy to work with, had great suggestions for local vendors, and explained the safety and cleaning protocols during a walk through of the space. The space is amazing - bright, modern, plenty of room for personal touches, and a really cool greenery wall for photo opps. We had so much fun and the guests loved the venue. The really cool thing about this space is that it’s so versatile and can be used for so many different events. If you are looking for a local place to host a small event, check out The APT!

ChrissyBZGirl: I was having a heck of a time finding a smaller space for a more intimate gathering at a reasonable price so I was ecstatic to find the Apt. it was just right for the 15 or so people that were there. Chris offers a great space and service and at a descent price. I’m impressed by the custom lightening, Bluetooth music and connected speaker. Dishes were provided and we didn’t even have to wash them! Highly recommend for a small, unique event.

M@ Ott: My wife and I just had our wedding reception here and Perfect is the only word that kept coming to mind when I started trying to sum up my experience. However everything was too good to accurately describe with the word perfect. Setting up our event was totally stress free. The staff was so professional and helpful and kind. I could keep going but I want to get to the food before you get bored and stop reading. It was roll your eyes back into your head delicious. And we kept our menu simple. Every expectation I had was exceeded by orders of magnitude and I had high expectations. Do your event here. You will not regret it.

Usually on the day of the event, something always goes a little awry, but nothing did. Our reception was effortlessly smooth, and that was thanks to Katie's organizational skills and planning. As someone without a day-of coordinator or wedding planner, I was so thankful for Katie's expertise, time, energy, and talents.

B H: I was originally here for work but stayed extra for the food. I bought some dark brown bread, a cured fennel salami and the bluest cheese I have ever eaten. The salami was slowly eaten in razor thin slices. The bread was rendered into some wonderful roast chicken sandwiches. I knew from the moment I laid eyes on the Bodega Blue.....Pears Stilton! My wife and I enjoyed the best blue cheese stuffed pears ever made. I look forward to future forages at the Food Building.

Thomas at the check in set the time, and the rest of our stay we were met with warm, friendly staff that carried a helpful and welcoming attitude. The location is perfect for great restaurants, bars/pubs, and sporting events.
The front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly. The entire space was clean, updated and well maintained. I will come back for my next trip!

This hotel is in a great location. It was very clean and well-maintained. And the staff was very friendly. Five stars.
The fan/air conditioning system was extremely loud and would click on frequently throughout the night. There was no way to get it to just stay on to avoid the loud clicking. I woke up constantly during the night due to the fan/air system turning on or off which led to a terrible night of sleep.

While the hotel is conveniently situated in downtown Minneapolis, it lacks many of the aspects I'd expect from a higher end Marriott hotel. The included free breakfast for Titanium members is very bland and far too simple and you have to eat at the lounge which was never really stocked well enough during my stay. The snack and drink options in the lounge were very limited throughout the day, and at one point there was nothing even on the counter to snack on. The room I stayed in was very spacious, but perhaps too much space between the bed and the television which meant you had to turn the volume up quite a bit. The bathroom was small, and the space between the bed and the bathroom was very limited. The shower was tiny, and water was spraying from the shower arm as if it was not properly sealed. The closet shelf and rod were broken so my clothes would slide down and fall off the rod. I did not get a feeling of being overly welcome at the hotel and some of the staff did not give friendly vibes in general, sometimes needing to be greeted before they greeted the guests. This is not typical for what I've become accustomed to.

The bathroom was small, and the space between the bed and the bathroom was very limited. The shower was tiny, and water was spraying from the shower arm as if it was not properly sealed. The closet shelf and rod were broken so my clothes would slide down and fall off the rod. I did not get a feeling of being overly welcome at the hotel and some of the staff did not give friendly vibes in general, sometimes needing to be greeted before they greeted the guests. This is not typical for what I've become accustomed to.

Zoey Alch: I don't even know where to begin! From the very beginning Ashley created a sense of calm within the wedding planning process, which is the exact opposite of how most people ever expect to feel. As a person who always wants to know what's going on and be a part of the planning I knew that it would be a challenge to trust someone else, but Ashley somehow defied this. I was able to put my full trust into her and in doing so she created the most magical, beautiful and happy day my husband and I could have ever dreamed of. Andrew Myers: The attention to detail that Ashley and her team put into our wedding day months and months and months before the actual day is nothing short of remarkable. What we admired most is that she certainly does not just tell you what you want to hear - she gives you the truth. But she doesn't just say no and move on - she is always bringing alternatives to ideas that can bring you as close to your absolute dream as possible. And that is because Ashley has already thought of every possible outcome of every possible scenario before she's even brought it to you. She helped us pick the perfect venue. She negotiated on our behalf countless times. She told us to do our ceremony outside even when the weather was suspect and we were a little nervous. And she was there for every single guest throughout the night if they needed her. Even weeks after the wedding, we had guests texting us and saying how incredible Ashley was throughout the day and how impressed they were with her call to do the ceremony outside - we are forever in debt to her for that. Ashley did what all planners should aspire to do - bring the vision to life and make the wedding appear as flawless as can be to the bride and the groom. Without Ashley's persistence, work-ethic and patience - I don't even want to think about how stressful the entire process could have been. We already miss her and would recommend her to any and all.

I am not the planning or organizing type, and I was completely overwhelmed with everything that needed to be completed, so Ashley and Poppati took care of everything! The only thing I had booked at that time was a photographer, and they not only found all of our vendors, communicated with them, negotiated discounts, but they kept us in the loop as much or as little as we wanted. Aside from taking care of all the logistics, Ashley is so TALENTED and made our wedding the most unique day! We had to change our date 2x and with all of the rules and restrictions Ashley and her team had to basically start from scratch several times. My wedding wouldn't have happened with out all of her help and expertise. She stayed up to date on all the rules and kept us informed and still pulled off the wedding of my dreams. My caterer dropped a month out from our wedding and Ashley was able to secure a new one at an even better rate for us with no issue. The day of our wedding it was so windy and there were challenges with the set up but I never knew because her team handled it and my day was amazing. We also appreciated the freedom to choose our own vendors! This allowed us to shape our day just how we wanted and ended up saving money too. We seated our guests inside for the ceremony due to weather, but they still had access to the outdoor alley area for the night. The communication we received from them was timely and easy to understand. They were very easy to work with and wanted to make our day exactly how we envisioned it. We enjoyed the indoor/outdoor space as well as the ability to bring in vendors to fit our needs. We had about 140 people at our recpetion and we fit in the space nicely. It is a beuatiful space and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Clay Fiedler: I was always a skeptic when it came to chiropractors, but I’ve seen significant improvement in my mobility and my neck/shoulder/back pain has decreased drastically. It’s also a really cool space and the team is accommodating and incredibly friendly.
Destinee Richey: I feel so refreshed after leaving my appointments. The atmosphere is very relaxing allowing you to really get a good adjustment. Dr. Courtney is phenomenal! Jessica Husted: Such a great date place. The ambiance is romantic. The lights are dim and the music is great. The food came out very quickly.We had the cauliflower appetizer, which was great. The beet salad was DELICIOUS! The chimichuri steak was good but had very little chimichuri. Potatoes with the steak were boring.I would definitely recommend this for a date night.

Johnnie Hicks: Rachelle is one of our absolute favorite people in the world. We have been seriously missing her since our wedding ended. She was on top of every last detail of our amazing wedding. She always kept us on track and managed to pull vague ideas out of our heads and create what we couldn’t even imagine. You do need to be ready to do some work too - Rachelle deeply cares about getting every detail right for you so you have to be ready to share honest opinions. We used to get numerous emails and texts every week to keep us on task. I wish there was a Rachelle for our daily lives. After speaking to a few planners, we met with Rachelle and instantly clicked with her. We could tell that she was highly organized, was well-connected within the industry and had great design sense. Although we didn't have to postpone our wedding due to COVID, there were many related considerations to navigate throughout the 1.5 year-long planning process, and I greatly appreciated Rachelle's frankness, level-headed attitude and communication throughout.She did a great job tracking and sticking to our budget, and advising us on where we could save money and where it would be best to spend a little more. We were extremely happy with all of the vendors she recommended to us, and she did a great job of tying in the vibe/design of the wedding among the vendors. Paul McLellan: Growing up in minneapolis, I had always heard of the Foshay but did not know the intricate details behind the history of the place.While vacationing in Minneapolis with my wife, it was one of her targeted areas and we thoroughly enjoyed the museum that told the nuanced history of the building but the great surprise was the observation deck on the top floor. It was a stunning 360° View of the entirety of Minneapolis and was worth every penny.
MaiNhia Lee: The foshay was a nice hotel. I got a suite there on a Saturday and they had a live dj event that night too. Super sweet hotel manager told the bartender to give me their best cocktail drink because it was my birthday and my sister asked which was their best cocktails. She paid $20 bucks for that cocktail and it tasted different but good. The dj event was great as well and I was able to make a few requests for him to play my music. Had a great time there. The hotel was clean and pretty. The 27th floor is where the other bar/lounge was and I was a little disappointed with the size of it. It was small and not roomy at all so didn’t even stay there. Overall, it’s a cute place and I wouldn’t mind getting a room there again.
