Spero Academy: what do users think?

Cat Weller: Top notch special ed!

Sean Gambino: My boys just started this year and I totally amazed at all the support I’ve been given. It’s been getting threw COVID much more bearable. Thank you spero for making my boys feel so comfortable and willing to learn!

Nikki Kormanik: My son has been there for three years and just loves it.

Clint Bengtson:

Katie Rose Kammerude: Мне нравится работать здесь и с замечательными студентами, которые у нас есть!

Minnesota Independence College and Community: what do users think?

lyndey rundle: I am a current student and a senior at Minnesota Life College and I have love it so much. have grown as a student and as an individual. We do have our downfalls, but with me, it has been great. The staff are great and have helped me grow and learn to eat healthier.

A Google User: From the start, MLC staff and veteran parents told us to expect change. They seemed sincere, capable and had stories to support their expectations. Protecting our daughter and ourselves, we listened and smiled, but were honestly afraid to hope. We can now reflect and confirm that they knew what they were talking about! We agree that our daughter has grown and changed in this process of learning to engage with a community of supportive friends and teachers. As she put it “I actually have a life here”. This “life” was what we tried to construct for her in our home and with our personal and community support systems. What we were able to create was not quite right, in fact, it fell painfully short of meaningful. We believe MLC added the magic of no parents, an immediate community of peers, and an incredibly committed staff who have provided respectful and caring teaching and support. Reaching for the Kleenex box, we are grateful to be a part of this program and delighted to see the positive change in our daughter, in ourselves and in the other MLC students.

Susan Thayer: MLC has been instrumental in the growth and success of my step-daughter. She was challenged with learning disabilities as a child which left her without friends and bullied in school. MLC has taught her how to be an advocate for herself, live independently, manage apartment living and face the day-to-day challenges that are easily taken for granted. I'm happy to say that she is employed, fully supports herself and has an abundance of friends! A success story indeed.

Minneapolite: MLC is a hidden gem in Richfield, MN. Never have I come across a place with more passionate staff who are trained, supported, and equipped to help college-age kids succeed and be independent. I was at their ribbon-cutting event this fall and I was blown away by the improvements they made to their campus, not just on the surface but in terms of new technology and accessibility. I also heard the mayor speak about the school and their positive impact on the community. I tell all my friends about this place because almost everyone I know has a friend or family member affected by ASD and quality resources are few for this population. I am proud to have Minnesota Life College in my backyard!

Chrissy Cleveland: MLC is a program that makes a difference. I have seen the program adapt to meet the needs of the undergraduate as well as the graduates living on their own. The changes that are seen in the young adults that attend this program are beyond explanation. From the moment that walk through the door to the day they start their job, live on their own, and become a part of their community. It is inspiring to see them full fill their potential.

Autism Society of Minnesota: what do users think?

nicholas Stapleton: They had a quiet room at anime detour and it really helped me.

Laura: I had a terrible experience at a different provider prior to being seen here. I was gaslit and told that it was my fault that I was struggling and that there was nothing actually wrong with me.I told Autism Society of Minnesota about this and they were so kind and understanding. They had a long waiting list, so I had to wait months to be seen, but they did everything they could to get me on the list and communicate with me effectively. Dr. Barbara Luskin was so amazing. She really validated my experiences and was SUPER thorough in her evaluation. The provider at the previous practice barely took 10 minutes with me before blaming me for my struggles - it was the complete opposite with Dr. Luskin. She talked with me for over an HOUR asking me about my entire life, details of my child hood, etc...As someone who has felt weird and out of place my whole life, getting answers from someone who was thorough, professional, and validating felt like the biggest weight lifted from my shoulders. After the initial evaluation, she had me come in with my partner and we were both able to talk about it and how to incorporate my diagnosis into our relationship. We were BOTH given resources for books, support groups, etc... I loved that she included him in the process too as this has an effect on his life as well.I can't say enough good things about AUSM or Dr. Luskin. They have a long waitlist, but it's worth it. Promise.

Freya Roherty: Great foundation and nice area

Rachel McDonald: AUSM truly gets autism/ASD! They are the real deal -- NOT a bunch of pseudo-experts taking insurance money to shovel b.s. for an hour. Very realistic, practical advice and support!

Monique Marple: I recently moved to Minnesota and am so thrilled to have AuSM as a reliable resource! The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and can answer pretty much any question related to Autism.

Jonathan Johnson: This place is a gem of a resource and the people associated truly care about their clients.

Lionsgate Academy: what do users think?

Joel Peters-Fransen: So great for my brother

Fang Blood: Ive been here 4 years, which is the longest I’ve started at a school, it’s the best one so far.

Chrissy Thomas: Seems to be a good school. Staff is very friendly.

Ryan Rehnstrand: Best Place I have every worked in 20 years of education

Andy Saunders: Great place to work.

Jenny Peters: Love this school for my son. His case manager is totally on it and all the teachers really understand him so much better than even the most caring teachers at his previous charter school. It's still not all easy, but the challenges day-in and day-out are less painful at Lionsgate.

Paula Barnhart: This is a wonderful place where the staff and the kids support everyone! This has been the best experience for Peter!

Rebecca Dosch Brown: They see each kid as a welcome addition. No one is ostracized, very positive and talented staff.

Dave Eberle: Two of our sons have been fortunate and blessed enough to be part of the Lionsgate family. The teachers, the support team, and every administrator are all completely engaged and are making a lasting impact on the everyday life for our two sons, Michael and Tommy. The friendship amongst students is amazing, and the growth socially and psychologically is exponential since enrolling @ Lionsgate. I simply cannot say enough positive things about the school.

Laura Cottington: I can not tell you how blessed we are to have discovered this place for our son. Amazing and highly trained staff, truly understand Autism!

Rose Sawyer: Xavier's wonderful school!

Michael Burks: Lionsgate Academy is a haven for special needs children. The difference it has made on our son is beyond words. Being different in the main stream public school system is difficult to say the least but being a child with special needs main steam can be more than difficult. Our son went from being withdrawn and depressed without any friends to happy, outgoing and part of a great group of supporting friends. His grades have gone from D's and F's to straight A's. Thank you Lionsgate Academy.
