Upon review of AWH's new website it is clear -- this is the premier preservation firm in Minneapolis. Chris McKenzie: David was phenomenal to work with throughout our project. Everything was very clear and transparent from the start, and the open communication carried on throughout. His approach to projects is very thorough, allowing homeowners to have conversations about every detail of the project while the plans are coming together, which limits the interpretation and chance for misunderstanding by contractors during construction. This approach also saves quite a bit on overall project costs. This detail and refinement during design can save significant dollars over if the changes happen during construction, when re-work may be needed, supplies re-ordered and contractors crews waiting on decisions. It is much easier to modify drawings that to modify a house when the plans are not thorough, detailed and complete. My wife and fully recommend David at DLD for any remodeling project you may be considering.

Although we put the construction project on hold, we absolutely loved our experience with David.From start to finish, David listened to our specific wants and needs and tailored his approach accordingly. His genuine interest in problem-solving and his passion for design were impossible to ignore. We could tell that he would be great to work with. The task we gave him was very challenging. We asked David to take remodel our existing 1950's home and expand into the screened-in porch and garage area. Creating a layout that flowed well and was truly functional was key for us. David's design delivered in spades what we were hoping for. Plus, the design details that were included in the plan were unique gave the house a high-end sense of style. On a personal note, he was easy to work with and seemed very invested in helping us achieve our dream.

Elizabeth Wagner: Our kitchen remodel was as good an experience as possible, thanks to TreHus. We loved our designer, who came up with very clever solutions for all our sticking points. The project management was well planned and communicated throughout. Their sub-contractors were largely great and TreHus helped smooth over any issues we did have.Our neighbors were very impressed with the preemptive notes and gift cards they received, which helped mitigate any feelings about noise.The final product is lovely and very functional and fits well with the quality of construction in our older home.
Amy Brochu: We did a kitchen remodel and knew the basics of what I wanted. Our designer, Morgan Froemming walk me through every step, asked me questions of my likes and dislikes. She came up with great ideas and designs that I love. Our project manager, Pat McCann, made sure everything was done on time and kept everything on schedule and communicated with me every step of the way. The whole crew at TreHus, including the elections, painters, and tilers were all professional did an excellent job. The whole TreHus Team went above and beyond and were very friendly to work with.
