La Société Du Thé: what do users think?

May: they had a great spaceThanks for the Peach and Ginger tea.

Kenan Hanhan: Tony knows his stuff. His knowledge and passion for the nuances and wonders of minimally-processed loose teas is incredible, and his international sourcing capabilities bring the best of the teas the world has to offer, right in the Twin Cities!

Paul H: is a big tea drinker. She

Dan Petters: high quality tea. he's got lists on the website, and best to go with an idea of what you might want.

Jeremy Tilsen: I could elaborate on the customer service and selection, but I think it would be better to compare this establishment to tea. Coming here is like familiar comforting routine, like tea itself.

Caitlin Caswell: I love this place! The tea i’ve bought here has all been great and the owner gives awesome recommendations. The owner has always been very polite and conversational when i’ve gone in. Highly recommend stopping in (:

Jay Seaser: Amazing selection and quality! They have a wide variety of tea and at reasonable prices.

Chris J: This is the best tea shop in the Twin Cities. Nobody comes close to the selection they have here. I get my tea here and I get coffee at Coffee and Tea. Both are hidden gems.

Northeast Tea House: what do users think?

Darcie Vandegrift: Extensive tea menu served on exquisite ceramic and glass cups and plates. Lovely seating. Quiet, soothing, ideal place to talk or read a book. No screens allowed-choose another place to work on laptop.Parking: Schedule extra ten minutes to find parking

Noor Lodhi: I had such a serene experience here on Easter! The soothing music, the flow of the fish tank, and seeing people actually interact with one another created a tranquil atmosphere. Though the menu was a bit overwhelming in its design, our tea barista was incredibly kind and she provided helpful explanations every step of the way. We felt attentively listened to. I would definitely recommend this place

Ryo Flying: Northeast Tea House offers a wonderfully relaxing and calming atmosphere. The Japanese-style communal table instantly brought me back home, creating a warm and inviting space. They boast a selection of five distinct matcha options, all served traditionally in a matcha bowl. While a more in-depth explanation of each matcha type would have been an interesting learning experience, it doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment. One of the things that truly sets this cafe apart is the serene ambiance. Unlike many coffee shops filled with the noise of espresso machines and humming fridges, Northeast Tea House provides a tranquil escape. I highly recommend checking it out for a unique and relaxing tea experience!

Diana Pavlyuk: This tea cafe has a relaxing atmosphere that most cafes don’t have nowadays. I like the ‘no tech’ policy which is rare to find in a busy city. You’d expect negative reviews from people who want to use their laptops, so don’t listen to those. Come here for a slow, relaxing tea time. This is not a ‘rush-in/grab-your-coffee-quick’ kind of place. Beautiful aquarium as well!

Val: Worth a visit, especially for the aesthetics. They run the shop similarly to some traditional shops in Japan and Korea where you are meant to enjoy the tea and conversation, which is why the no laptop policy is not too surprising. The pre-packaged mochi and milled matcha teas are okay. This is a place you go to for the atmosphere more than anything.

Isabel Seibert: , and further down the list they tend to get grassier and more bitter. There are also black, green, oolong, pu'er, and herbal teas that you can get in a gongfu set. It's nice to just take 60-90 minutes re-steeping the tea and relaxing in the beautiful tea house. They have some snacks like mochi and pastries, but unfortunately I don't think any were vegan. I hope they add some vegan options so I can snack while sipping tea.Dietary restrictions: They do not add milk to their matcha, so it's great for vegans! Unfortunately, I don't think there are any vegan snacks in the bakery case.Parking: There is cheap street parking nearby. There are free streets if you're up for more of a walk.Kid-friendliness: This place has a quiet atmosphere, so I would not recommend you bring children.

Max Manzo: This is probably my new favorite spot in Minneapolis. I'm a huge tea lover and this hits everything you could possibly want. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Staff is always ready and willing to talk about tea, provide recommendations, and seem to always go above and beyond with any question I may have. Every tea I've tried so far has been delicious of course and there's a lot more to try! Great place to come alone or with a friend for a relaxing day.

Jon Schmidt: This place is expanding my love of tea. I highly recommend trying one of the Tea Classes Simon leads on Saturday mornings to get familiar with many different kinds of teas.Wonderful place and friendly staff!

Fairgrounds Coffee & Tea: what do users think?

Jenine Kopenski: Great spot for coffee! Pistachio latte was great! Was bummed not to see any signature drinks but they had a ton of syrups and flavors to choose from.Dietary restrictions: Oat milk

Ethan Kounkel: This place has the makings of a great coffee shop that has the atmosphere to bring in travelers and locals alike. The only thing missing from this place is OUTLETS. There are a minuscule amount with only a few spots allowing a charging port. Being that coffee shops have historically been correlated with working on personal computers, it has become quite expected that there is enough places to charge said devices.

Simplicitea: what do users think?

JAGuar Grigg: The gentleman that served us was VERY kind and understanding and made us feel quite comfortable. The drinks we got, though different than what we were used to back home, were very well made. My wife kept commenting on how she liked the layout and atmosphere of the store. All in all, a great experience! Thanks for all you did to help make us feel welcome in Minnesota! :-D

Bastian T.: this place is for you. We get the brown sugar milk cap with tapioca every time and the Kaisa has memorized our order and guesses it every time we come. Highly recommend.Parking: The parking is behind the building, there aren't a ton of spots but the lot isn't used frequently. The lot is owned by simplicitea and the parking is free.

Eiostí Åaske: . The matcha slushie is dairy free. There's one really nice spot in the corner with a pergola and couches, but overall the vibe is kind of odd with bright lights, fake

Savannah Hanson: Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Menu is all vegetarian

Boo2k14 vruno: I love coming to this place 3The owner is so sweetParking: It's hard to see but parking is behind the building

Coffee and Tea Limited: what do users think?

Scott Fisher: This is the number one place to go to get beans whether you want them whole or ground. They really know what they're doing. It's not a place you go to sit down. This is a place to buy beans get a cup of coffee and continue wandering the area. Wonderful selection of coffees and wonderful selection of tea. If you're looking for the quality and price of a can of coffee don't go here. A pound here starts at about 19 or $20.

Smash Bridges: Getting here with the construction all around was a bit of nightmare fuel. However, James was such a delight that I could feel my blood pressure lower as we chatted with friendly banter. He suggested a coffee, as they have excellent coffee. I said I prefer chai....and he had just the thing! Extra chai, just the way I like it. It was divine! Worth the hassle and white knuckles to get there. Though I'll probably try not to go again while the roads are mostly impossible....maybe.

Joshua Squires: . It's crammed full of boxes of tea and coffee. This isn't a place to come quietly peruse, it's a place to come and wonder aloud about a particular coffee or tea, inviting the conversation of the wonderful team behind the counter. Come ready to converse and you will be rewarded. What about the coffee and tea?First, real tea. None of the overwrought dried fruit salads or sugared madness many teas have become. While there are a few flavored teas, you'll find mostly classics like puh-erh, gunpowder, genmaicha, lapsang suchong and the like. The coffee will take you back to the early 90s where dark roasts thrived. The varietals available are stunning. Coffees from many places rarely seen in the mainstream and even niche coffee markets. When's the last time you saw Cameroon or Sulawesi on a shelf? And the espresso is especially great. A very European style, particularly the espresso noce, which was very much like drinking espresso in Naples.Definitely recommend stopping by.

Charlie McAwesome: Easily the best coffee and tea purveyors in the Midwest. They are incredibly knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and incredibly unpretentious. They are happy to answer questions, and every recommendation they have given me over the years has been fantastic.Truly a treasure of the Twin Cities. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

BrookeMagic: Just went here 10 minutes ago, I love this place so much. Their coffee is so good and the people in there are so nice. I also like that it's not really a sit down place so it's not loud, just warm and peaceful. The people in there are very kind and the coffee is fresh, not pre-packaged (: fancy

Eric: The best selection of coffee in the city. They are ina league of their own! Always enjoy chatting them up when I am there

Alec Becker: Just got my first 1/2 pound of beans and I’ll surely be returning. Beautifully roasted, fresh beans. Made AMAZING coffee; it’s worth the price.

Hunter Robarge: Super helpful and intelligent

Jim Cone: They roast daily an. Incredible variety

James Bjorvik: 100% the best coffee in the Twin Cities. Over and over again I will continue to be satisfied.

Eponine E: My first job was working for Mr. Cone a thousand years ago. I learned so much about coffee, tea, and how he chose top quality beans and leaves. His roasting process is second to none. Even my cheapskate parents switched to his coffees after I started working there until they could no longer get to his store. I make a trek to Linden Hills as often as I can for the best.

Taylor Bauer: By far the best place in the cities to get your fresh coffee & tea. Staff is kind, knowledgeable, and fun to be around! There's coffee beans you can get here that you can't get anywhere else in the area. Always fresh and can be ground any way you need!! They also have coffee & tea accessories, like pour overs, steepers, filters, etc.

Bill's Imported Foods: what do users think?

been’there: It’s an interesting find in the heart of Lyn Lake. Has been there for ages. There is mostly Greek food, from feta, olives, and other Greek items you can’t find in the city. There is a great selection of Slavic and Arabic groceries.

Steve Wallschlaeger: The best choice for Greek food. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful.

Trish Vanni: One of a kind for Greek and other specialties. Wonderful, helpful owners.

Lee Kafkas: I love this place. The best place to get olives, feta, other Greek and middle eastern foods. Great prices on almost everything! Fresh pita, bulk spices, pick your own dates, myzithra cheese!

David Woehler: Good selection of Greek and Mediterranean food. Hard to find options here. Good lavish bread. Helpful staff

Eftychia Markopoulou: I am so happy to find a Greek shop with greek products here in Minessota. The shop smells like a Greek "mpakaliko" and it really reminded my greek village. There are pure greek products like greek olive oil, biscuits etc.

Veronica Scofield: some of the individual drinks were old after their "best by" date - for example i bought a single-serving tea last week that expired July of last year.. I'm assuming thats a supplier issue.... BUT the selection is excellent, and everything is delicious and quality!! just check the dates on the perishable goods just in case

Art Mudek: Love them gyros

Mark Chowaniec: Great selection of imported goods.

Dan Giesen: Great, small shop. Be advised this is more Mediterranean ingredients than Middle Eastern. The staff was super nice and helpful and said for more Middle Eastern ingredients to try the Holy Land in Nordeast. I would definitely go to Bill's again for Mediterranean area ingredients

Anthony Stamson: THE place for hard to find Mediterranean groceries.

Alexandra Pierce: for less than than any of the "fancy" olive oils I've gotten from any of the basic grocery stores.

Lee Switzenberg: Favorite shop for Mediterranean groceries. Stopped in today for my Kalamata olives and Bulgarian feta cheese. Picked up the saffron and roasted pepper for another recipe. I always feel like family here. Please see for yourself.

Kellie Rock: Bill’s Imported Foods is a hidden gem! It’s the only place we’ve found the Argentinian empanada wrappers my husband likes to cook with. Also found orange blossom water, pomegranate molasses, tons of different spices they don’t have at regular grocery stores, baklava, halva, and more. I’m happy to support this local business. Can’t wait to try their feta.

Alexios Livadaros: I always get my Greek treats there. They're the best 💙

Carma Coffee: what do users think?

Gwen R: Love the atmosphere, food and drinks!

Theodore J. Stonich II: Purple Onion here but it really seems you can pretend it has a ghost of Counterculture, Spring, an Opportunity that Minneapolis had always been. Uh until the many years of total annihilation. No, you can't escape The "Brave New World" Order here or the uniformed BRUTALLY enforced conformity of post-Covid Minnesota an mainstream society but you can let your hair down

Beth Walser: If I could give this place 4.5 stars I would, it’s super cute, the atmosphere is amazing, it was super busy for a Saturday afternoon, the staff was friendly and they had a good food and bakery selection. The coffee was ok but tasted a little burnt and the parking was pretty chaotic, but also that’s northeast Minneapolis for you especially in the winter.

Bordertown Coffee: what do users think?

Nick Smith: Good Coffee, good service

Jacquelyn Fay: gets crowded at times, but I don't mind. I wish the upstairs would be converted to more seating. The iced miel is very good. the staff are friendly and I'm absolutely in love with the window area w/ the plantsedit: please expand hours into the evening and weekends!!!

Camille McCallum: Bordertown Coffee in Minneapolis is a haven for coffee connoisseurs. The extensive menu boasts classic coffee choices, along with an array of tempting teas and tea lattes. My latte experience was nothing short of exceptional—the milk was perfectly prepared, consistently creamy, and adorned with the perfect amount of foam. What sets Bordertown apart is its unique location inside an old house. The ambiance is a delightful blend of history and modern comfort, with inviting tables, plush couches, and tucked-away study nooks. The attention to detail in decor creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall enjoyment of your visit. Bordertown Coffee is not just a coffee shop; it's a destination where every sip and surroundings contribute to a memorable experience. Highly recommended for those seeking both quality beverages and a charming environment.

Emily T: Bordertown is by far one of my favorite places near the U of M campus. You really have to look for it since it’s in the middle of the block. Love the charm of the building, makes for a great study or work spot if you can find a seat. Drinks are good, tried a seasonal beverage and it did not disappoint. They definitely put care into your order.

Salmon Soup: log cabin style coffeeshop a little pricy tho
